SpringHill Suites Voorhees Mt. Laurel/Cherry Hill

After my 10^th stay I’ve said «Enough» 8 of the 10 stays, the shower door leaked and flooded the bathroom. This last time I really tried to work with the manager, who by the way is never physically at the location and only communicates with the guests by e-​mail. My issue is with the pool. Please reference an April 2016 review on the same subject. That person said they were unable to see the first step of the pool because it was too cloudy. I must do pool exercises for a condition I have. My husband, who has managed pools, saw it and would not let me go in. The pool was gray, murky, and cloudy. The communication with the manager went on for three days, during which she continued to say the pool was safe to swim in a refused to admit that a cloudy murky pool is unsafe. The room, during a 3 night stay was never ready and cleaned before 4:30 pm and this was after we complained about it the first time!!! Youth sports teams stay there and are allowed to take up the entire breakfast area and guests without shoes are allowed to eat in there. Even now, if you use the body sprayers in the shower, prepare to use all of your towels to dry the bathroom floor, and if you get up at night to use the bathroom, the light through the translucent door will wake up your partner. if you go… Don’t let your children swim in a murky pool, because if something happens you wont be able to see them if they are on the bottom. During visits 1 – 3, the front desk staff was clueless, but still even till today, the manager is not there to personally address these issues. I wanted to physically show manager Kerrie Kundie this pool and this person never made themselves available.

As always, clean, great service in all departments and I have no complaints. This is my go to every time I’m in the area.

This is a very clean hotel. Comfortable bed and linens. What I did not like about this is the layout of the room – the bed has a glass partition so if someone on the other side keeps the light on it glares through the glass right into the bed area. The long bathroom is straight ahead of the end of the bed. I did not like that at all. Prefer a solid wall with the tv. Even though the bathroom was new, I did not like the glass doors which made the shower even hotter/​more steam.
Next time Im in the area I will stay at a different place because of the bathrooms at the foot of the bed. What a shame. And the breakfast was ok… scrambled eggs not very good, the oatmeal was very watery.

Would have been happy to give them the fifth star, however, not only were there little children on the floor above us running back n forth at 6:30am, but there were teenagers next door doing the same; the slamming doors and giggling and laughing running up and down the hallways doesn’t quite lend itself to sleep induction… Why do hotels INSIST on putting small children and kids right above or next to older people who are there for peace, quiet and sleep? After a 15 hour road trip, the LAST thing I would EVER want is sleep…
Best breakfast of any hotel I’ve stayed at yet! Make your own HUGE waffle, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, milk, coffee, tons of fresh fruit, breads of all kinds, luscious scrambled eggs, (cheese, salsa and spinach to put on it if you’re so inclined), fabulous hash brown potatoes (and fully cooked for once!), sausage (sorry to say I could have done without the semi cooked pork patties — bacon would have been better… or even the link sausage), nuts, raisins, brown sugar, cranberries, dried banana chips (for your oatmeal or for you to eat) and the largest most extravagant collection of delish spreads for your muffins /​toast /​breads that you could imagine. Fruit/​citrus water, tea, but no hot chocolate? The variety and quality impressed me (except for the meat — yuck!) and there was a lady there to oversee it all and replenish it if necessary. She was good on everything but the fresh fruit and boiled eggs were gone and they still had about 15 – 20 mins left to go… it was mobbed! I had to ask if there was any more fruit anywhere and she gave me this blank look and said, «why? Is it out?» Well DUH. Did I just ask you for more? SMH!
The beds are great… the linens fabulous. Love the new updated look in the rooms. Only wished they gave you a tub to soak in (ladies, you’ll agree, I’m sure). Everything clean and new. Can’t say anything except for the banging and races being run outside my door too too early in the morning…

I book this room to stay closer to work during the blizzard of 2016. Everyone was great. The person Jermaine another reviewer mentioned even help me get my car out of the snow. He was a stand up guy. The rooms were clean and set up well. And the TV had cable stations the bathrooms were nice and everyone was super polite. Wi-​Fi was quick. The general manager was very sweet and she did indicate that pay per view is coming to the rooms. For a little under $ 300 for two nights that were both weekend nights and the blizzard with a refrigerator and microwave why was very very happy I would recommend.

I stayed at this hotel twice in the last couple of months with my boyfriend and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is very clean and attractive. Everything was a breeze from parking to check in to check out. There is a heated indoor pool and even though it is kind of small and might have a bit too much chlorine, it is still a nice perk. There is a nice lobby/​bar area with a tv. The complimentary breakfast is great with tons of choices (not just the regular continental breakfast). Overall for the price, this hotel is excellent and I have no complaints.

This hotel was perfect! The staff was so attentive including Jermaine, who was awesome enough to help me carry my bags upstairs when there were no extra carts to be found. They really cared about you as a guest and your comfort. All of the employees paid attention to details and were so willing to help. The rooms are all well-​kept and they have great amenities such as the workout room.

I stayed at the Springhill Suites in Voorhees for a recent wedding and had a great experience from the start. There was ample parking and a covered driveway near the front door, which helped to get us and our stuff in on that horribly rainy day.
We arrived prior to our check-​in time and were rolling the dice to see if we could get our room early. It was no problem. Not only were we able to check-​in, the girl at the front desk was a sweetheart. She was friendly, helpful and the perfect example of how someone in the customer relations field should act.
Our room was large, clean and really maximized space. There was one TV in between the «living area» with the couch and the «bedroom.» There was plenty of closet space. While there was no separation between the toilet and the rest of the bathroom, the toilet was on the opposite side of the shower creating another great use of maximizing space.
The reservation also included a breakfast buffet the next morning. While it was far from gourmet, as far as hotel breakfast buffets are concerned, it was pretty decent. Standouts included scrambled eggs, some sort of potato hash with sausage and peppers and a waffle maker. You could top your eggs with cheese, spinach and salsa in addition to 3 – 4 different kinds of hot sauces and condiments.
The elevators were the only flaw to this hotel and the reason I’m deducting a star. Could they BE any slower? (Said like Chandler Bing from Friends). The hotel only had 4 stories, so we opted to take the stairs when possible.
This hotel is within 20 – 30 minutes of home so there’s really no reason for me to need to stay there again, but I would recommend it to anyone needing to stay in the area.

stayed two nights in this hotel for a work trip. wasn’t expecting much since it’s in a small town outside of Philadelphia. but was pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice it was. the rooms are modern and i liked how the desk gave the room some separation between the sleeping area and the couch.
the gym was equipped with the standard machines and weights. also had plenty of towels for use. i’m usually watching tv while working out and had options to watch TV mounted on the wall or from the treadmill. nice. oh and they have a small indoor pool too.
pretty good selection of continental breakfast is offered. hot items, cereal, various cut fruits, carbs… definitely something to hit up as there are not a lot of bfast options in the area.

Beautiful hotel, very clean and super friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and modern. Gym, indoor pool and Bar available. Compimentary breakfast is tasty and fresh. Located right next to tons of restaurants and shopping strips. Great place for kids, I would definitely stay here again

We had a family wedding in the area and had arranged for about 35 rooms for friends and family. The sales director, Nikki Lawrence was excellent with clear and friendly communications and always responsive to my requests. All the staff was friendly and helpful — front desk, housekeeping, bartender, breakfast staff and maintenance. We had a problem with our door lock and they came right away and fixed the issue. This might have lowered the rating but they were so responsive that I still give them a high rating.
The rooms were great. A walk in closet! A spa shower. Comfortable beds– even the pull out couch. All spotless. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And it was very accessible to major highways. Everyone was pleased with the hotel.

Nice hotel, clean, comfortable, convenient, and good continental breakfast. Staff is generally very nice, except the front desk folks were not that nice, both at check-​in and check-​out. They appeared to want to talk more with other staff, rather than to talk with the customers to sincerely ask about their stays. Maybe it just me being from the south where people tend to be more nice. The room was large and comfortable, but TV placement not that good. Also, the comforter on one of the beds was not clean — had large crusty spot near the top. Again good hotel, but could easily be great if some
attention to details can be applied.

Great hotel. My family loved it. Like other reviewers I was very impressed and told the staff the same. As this is a new hotel, hopefully the facility and service stays consistently well organized and maintained over the years to come.
I would highly recommend it.

Another clean hotel by Marriott to add to the «return list». Friendly service and comfy beds.

Hotel new, appears nice. Booked 40 plus rooms for wedding and worst experience ever! First, they did not hand out guest bags after all the time and expense to make them and they included directions and invitation to a brunch. Second, the housekeeping manager/​security guard was very rude and even purposefully turned off fire pit so we could not use it After the rehersal dinner and the second night after the wedding lied about it not working. He proceeded to threaten and aggravate our guests. One guest was treated poorly because she was simply looking for the gym early in the morning and was harassed by the same security person. Several rooms were doubled billed and over a month later the guests bills have not been fixed. The rooms were not that clean. One guest room had curly hair all over the bathroom floor and it was difficult to explain to the maids on duty because they did not speak English. The general manager refused to address the issues. Fyi when my daughter married a ago we used a Marriott residence inn and it was excellent, I never expected such poor treatment from a Marriott.

Excellent Hotel. Brand new and very well managed. Excellent rooms and friendly staff except the young lady who checked me in during the day. She was not friendly and I felt like bothering her. She needs training on how to be polite and friendly with customers. Many food places around, 1 theater and 2 grocery stores close to this hotel. Ample free parking spaces. Provides Free breakfast with options of oatmeal, cereals, bacon, eggs, muffins. bagels, fruits, juice, milk, yogurt, coffee. This hotel also includes a small indoor swimming pool, a bar and a gym with screen on treadmills. Very clean and calm lobby. Room service is good.

New hotel, was very impressed. I was not expecting much in a smaller town. The place was very clean and the rooms were awesome. Duel showerheads and big bathrooms. Would love to stay here again.

Amazing hotel. The room we had was 2 queen, 1 sofa bed, and a sectional couch that we used for an additional bed. The pool was smaller than typical, but the great free breakfast and the chula chups suckers at the front desk made up for it. Very convenient location next to grocery, pharmacy, theater, and restaurants. We enjoyed staying there for a few days.

Fabulous new hotel! Rooms were sparkling and tasteful. All staff members except the young lady who checked me in were polite and helpful. She needs a lot of additional customer service training.
Free wi-​fi and breakfast make this hotel an excellent choice for a business traveler. Ample well lit parking in front and by side entrance.
