Worst Starbucks EVER !! They are notorious for filling your cup only half full. I started walking in, thinking it was just a drive thru rip off problem. I removed my lid and it was still half empty !! This has happened several times, but today my husband didn’t check under his lid, and his $ 6 pumpkin latte was half missing.(he had only checked my drink, which he had them top off). We drove back and showed them the lack of contents in the cup and she blamed it on a «new barista, and the milk had settled». BULL. They’ve had a new barista for months then. Anyone that orders a drink from this store should ask for NOLID so you can see the lack of contents in your cup !! I used to work at a Starbucks years ago, and legally each cup is required to weigh a certain amount. Be warned, I am calling weights and measures and suggesting they visit your corrupt establishment. Never. Again.

The worst starbucks ever. Rude, dirty, asked for non fat and it’s not. This place is convenient to work but I will go out of my way from now on.

This is the closest drive thru Starbucks for me. I have two small children so a drive thru helps me a lot for something quick and easy like coffee. My biggest concern with this Starbucks location is that my drink is never filled to the top, it’s a little over half way filled. I just wish they would be a little more generous with their servings.

I’m updating my previous review! Cudo’s to this Starbucks! They have adequate employees to handle the morning rush. They are fast and friendly very helpful. Good job!

The service and quality of work at this location is abysmal. Move on to another Starbucks location while this one gets its act together.

Worst service, and I way over paid for a cup of ice. First, I wanted an iced caramel Macchiato with a little less milk, top it off with coffee. They wanted to charge extra. We all know milk costs more than coffee. And apparently the girl taking my order at drive thru couldn’t hear well and after I repeated my order says, «You’re killing me, I can’t understand you» and gets someone else. I said, fine, just give me an iced red eye(coffee with espresso) with a shot of caramel and a little milk. What did I get? Iced coffee with a shot of caramel, no espresso, no milk, and so much ice there was barely beverage. This isn’t rocket science, it’s coffee. Don’t pretend you’ve never heard a special order before, you work at Starbucks. I will avoid this location in the future. Apparently anything but black coffee freaks out the cashier. Yes, my dear, you are a cashier, not a barista, because a barista would have understood my order. Go back to 7 – 11 where you belong.

We had to run a few errands. We prefer a drive thru when we are on the go… In this case Starbucks is the clear choice. This is a smaller and low key location. Today, our dog enjoyed a pupa-cinno or is it a pup-a-cinno or a cup full of whipped cream!

I actually just wanted to see if I was the only one praying for my drink to be right. But I wasn’t, so I’m chiming in. Hit and miss explains this location very well. It’s a constant struggle. Sorry Starbucks, I’m probably already rushing to work in the morning, I can’t stop back in to correct my drink. Although, I do appreciate that offer.

Seems I’m not the only one with this complaint — drink order is wrong about 50% of the time. Lately, there haven’t been any markings on my cup as to what the drink is, so by the time it’s discovered, I’m already at work. Depending on who’s running the drive-thru, staff is at least pleasant enough. Positives. Convenient location, there are a few stand-out baristas that always make the day better(usually also the ones who get my order right.), and that’s why I put the third star. I’ll probably keep coming to this location for the sake of convenience and time when I’m on my way to work, but if I have the extra time, I’ll go elsewhere.

One of my favorite Starbucks in North County. I usually use the drive-thru and the staff has always been really friendly. They’ve never messed up my drink and they take the drive-thru wait time seriously! You are in and out of there quick. A++

The older blonde lady I talked to had the biggest attitude I swear she had her let’s be a bitch to everyone cereal that morning. I didn’t even buy a drink I was so pissed. I go to Starbucks about everyday last time I stop in the morning for quick coffee

My daily drink is simple; quad shot over ice in a Venti cup. To make it… Simply put four shots into a Venti cup, fill with ice, serve. BUTWAIT… Come to this location and they’ll finish it off my vigorously shaking the cup; causing espresso to get trapped between the lip of the cup and the lid… Then further dripping down the cup and onto my expensive clothes and car. I drink 30+ of these per month, and never have had this happen at any other location. If this happens once more, I WILL throw my drink back into your window, and then have you remake it. Try me.

I’m over this location. Very hit and miss on the friendly meter(they are either totally indifferent or a bit phony). They definitely favor the drive thru– is it like that wherever there’s a drive thu? If you like to get out of your car and walk in, you’ll feel like you’re at the back of the line no matter what. They’ll make drinks out of order… And can’t seem to make a basic drink very well as it is, so once you’ve waited for it you’re not inclined to take them up on the cup’s offer to «Get it right if you’re not satisfied» Unfortunately, this is now the only Starbuck’s on my commute to work(that I know of, amazing, right?). Time to finally look for something else.

The most remarkable thing about this location is the drive through.(Well, that and the fact that it’s conveniently located near my office… but you don’t care about that, do you?) Other than that I’m not really a fan of this location. The employees are hit and miss: some are friendly and sweet, but I’ve had others who are cold or even borderline rude as their ‘normal’. Okay, this is the real world, not everyone is kittens and rainbows all the time… I get that… but one of the things that comes to mind when I think of Starbucks is the suuuper friendly and warm service, which just hasn’t always been my experience at this particular location. Maybe the drive through setup causes a ‘disconnect’ here that affects attitude and carries over into the walk-in store as well? But that’s just me guessing. Also, there are some days when my drinks just taste ‘off’. I should note here that I drink a shameful amount of Starbucks and i get the exact same drink(Venti Americano with 1″ of soy) nearly 100% of the time. I know *exactly* what it’s supposed to taste like. I mentioned it the first couple of times it happened… one of those times I was condescendingly told that soy milk doesn’t taste exactly like real milk(uh, really?) and neither of those times was I offered a new drink. Now I just chalk it up as something that happens sometimes at this location and live with it. In the end, my caffeine addiction conquers any slight aversions I’d have toward coming here — and if I want a coffee in the middle of the day, I won’t hesitate to walk across the street or swing through the drive through on my way back from lunch.

Starbucks has consistent look and feel, products are always good, just expensive. Plenty of locations to choose from in Vista and Carlsbad, and they always deliver nice friendly service.

There’s nothing like a hot drink in the early morning hours. And to get it through a drive-thru that is quick with friendly service. This spot has kept up their flow with no flaw, great job!

Irony: A drive thru Starbucks opens near my house as soon I learned that I will relocate for school. Sigh. Pros: drive thru(need I say more), spacious, friendly baristas Cons: drink mix ups … Just remember to speak clearly when ordering your drink at the drive thru. I’ve ordered a tall salted caramel mocha… only to get a plain salted hot chocolate. Not the end of the world but definitely confusing. :-P

In the few times that I’ve come here, I’ve went through the drive thru and the service was impeccable and speedy. Even though there are two Starbucks nearby(no surprise), it’s nice to have this location with the drive thru for my lazy days. ie; I work from home and sometimes don’t get out of my PJ’s until lunch time so this Starbucks is awesome to hit up when I don’t want to get dressed to get out of the house and grab a cup o’ Joe. I hope this location continues to deliver great service. ***Footnote for Marc. D. SBUX8, Dept. 561*** New releases come out soon though… =)
