H&R Block

Be Aware these people are horrible at what they do! My wife went in to have our taxes done and used one of their «pros» and by the time we were done we owed $ 13,000.00 to the IRS, not to mention the the $ 500 HR block told us was the cost of their services. I went in and retrieved our documents after a minor confrontation and told them we would go somewhere else and that we were not paying them. After going to an actual CPA we learned how many deductions they missed. We actually had a return of about $ 5k and paid $ 250 to have our taxes done. Bottom line they are not qualified and do not have the credentials or knowledge to do a return with the slightest complexity. We are W2 employees with kids, house, jobs etc. and the amount of credits, deductions. etc they missed blew me away!
