My experience both occasions was excellent. Good, Fair, Prompt Service, and a few really good stories! If I had more coins, I would sell them here.

I came in with my dad to help pick a ring out for my stepmom and there is a great selection of high end pieces for really cheap. We ended up getting the best deal around on a really nice ring and all the employees were very helpful and knowledgable.

Great shop best selection of Slabs and raw coins around. The jewelry is absolutely stunning with such low prices it doesn’t make sense not to come here!

Super friendly, fast service and no hassle.

I went in to sell some assorted silver pieces as well as two pairs of diamond studs. I was helped by a man named Larry and although he wasn’t able to help me entirely by himself (he needed Richard the owner to weigh in on the diamonds), I felt comfortable with the experience. I still wanted to shop around some more at other jewelry-​buying places so I told them I would probably be back the next day.
I ended up getting a higher bid on one set of diamond studs from Famulare Jewelers in Carlsbad, but I wanted to sell my silver and the other diamonds to California Numismatic. I went in the next morning and spoke with another man (didn’t catch his name). He was very friendly and helpful, but the moment I said I had gotten a bid from Richard about the diamonds, he said he needed Richard to confirm it. Okay that’s fine — but a lady who works there (didn’t catch her name either) was very rude and said Richard was in his office and not be disturbed by anyone. She had seen me the day before so she knew I was returning to do business with them. I explained that I was hoping to go to the bank that day because I was going out of town and wanted the money in the bank before I left. The man was apologetic but said there was nothing he could do and that I should try calling them later to see if Richard was available.
I ended up just selling my silver to them and taking both pairs of diamonds elsewhere (where I got paid more money). It wouldn’t have taken more than a few minutes for Richard to help me (especially because I had just been in there the day before) and I was extremely put off by how rude the woman was who works there.

I said the spread isn’t as good as other places and so I wanted to update with where I like to go as my #1 choice. It is California Numismatic Investments. Yes almost the same name. Only problem is they are in Inglewood so unless I have a LARGE transaction I stay local. Remember it costs gasoline money to go to Inglewood. Just wanted to update that because it annoys me when people say I like other places better… well then tell me what other places so I can research!!! haha

The best place to purchase metals in s.d. Richard has 30+ yrs exp & isn’t going anywhere. Fair prices they sell Pcgs & ngc and always have inventory. Also are buyers of scrap gold/​silver. honesty is hard to find these days you’ll be treated well here
