Gave this place another try. Ordered two chicken Vietnamese Sandwiches to go. We were in a hurry but figured sandwiches wouldn’t take long. We were so wrong. They were ready 35 minutes later, which made me very late to my next appointment. The waitress did apologize for the wait and the sandwich was good. Seriously, 35 minutes for two sandwiches to go? Before I ordered there were three other tables seated. Two already had their food. While I waited, three more came in. They were not busy before I placed my order. Food is pretty good but make sure you have the time to wait.

Great food and a very friendly staff, a little out of way but worth the effort to go out of your way.

ok, so the lemongrass chicken was not in the presentation I’ve had in the past. Alot of bean sprouts and plain noodles with a small amount of chicken. The taste was good, but I probably won’t be back for that item. LOVE the Vietnamese coffee and comparable to Starbucks, without the drive.

Simple restaurant serving great food in healthy portions at great prices. Everyone agreed the fried rice is some of the best they’ve ever had.

Great hole in the wall Phở place! Really great spring rolls — I love when they have special fish sauce for them instead of the peanut butter sauce. Really delicious. Impressed :).

Some of the complaints a few months ago about the long wait we’re so true. It was frustrating to wait so long. However, I know there have been some changes. They have a new chef there now. The wait times are far less than before — about the same, or less, as any other restaurant. The food is still great, actually has more flavor. I still love the calamari. Only complaint is that it’s a little spicy for a lightweight like me!

Pretty busy for lunch on a Sunday. There was only one waitress and she couldn’t handle all of the customers by herself. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated and when we were finally seated she did not give us menus. After a while it seemed like she had forgotten about us so I asked my significant other to get menus for us. Luckily he did, I don’t know how much longer we would’ve had to wait just to get menus. Many customers were getting frustrated at this point with the slow service. A couple at the table behind us even asked to have their food boxed to go. After a long wait, the food was finally brought to our table. My first impression of the shrimp fried rice was that it looked very plain. It was indeed plain but it surprisingly tasted better than it looked. The significant other said their phở was good. We ordered the calamari but sadly they didn’t have anymore. Overall this trip was a disappointment. It’s been a while since we’ve been here(back when they barely opened up) but I don’t think we will be coming back here anytime soon. This was their last chance to get on our good side, sorry Trish Café.

I was about to give this restaurant 4-stars for their delicious food… then the cockroaches happened. One was actually on our table right next to my friend’s plate, the other on the wall by our table. I think –1 star per roach is fair. Great food though.

I went there today. I thought it was very good. It was very clean and the food was really good. I used to go to Xiong seafood and they good to and less expensive. The only thing I don’t like is the price. If they lowered there price, I’d go here a lot.

There are not too many Phở’s in visalia. This location has good food, nice and quiet location, projector to watch television, and great service.

Craving some Vietnamese phở, so I tried this place out. Ordered a regular phở combination. It was a huge serving with beef meatballs, tripe, and rare pieces of meat. The broth was flavorful, but a little on the oily side for my comfort. Easily solved by skimming out the surface of the broth before eating. Service: Quick and friendly. Family owned. Ambience: Typical phở restaurant, with the exception of the news projected on to a huge hide of a wall. Kind of cool if you’re into current events. Overall: Definitely my new go-to spot for Vietnamese phở.

I was hoping to find a place in Visalia that has good banh mi, but this is not the place. The bread was hard and didn’t taste very fresh. The chicken was okay but it was on the bland side, and the pickles vegetables were not tangy. I also asked for no mayo on my sandwich, but there was mayo in it. I wouldn’t have minded too much bc a lot of places tend to forget, but the wrapper said«no mayo» and I heard the waitress talking to the person in the back about not putting mayo. I also got the chicken spring roll, and it was strange. They put rolled up fried egg roll wrapper underneath the chicken. I’ve never had a spring roll like that before, so it was a bit of a surprise and not really the pleasant kind. To top it off, it took a really long time. The waitress was nice, but I’m pretty sure she was the only one there. We were the first people in there, and it took a while to get my to go order. By the time we left, there were about 4 tables who we’re sitting there twiddling their thumbs waiting for the waitress to take their order or bring their food. I would give them 1.5 stars, but I guess I’ll round up since the food wasn’t disgusting, just really disappointing. I wanted to try their phở, but that’s not likely anymore. I’ll just go to one of the Thai/Lao places that sells it.

Great restaurant with amazing service. The price is very fair for the amount of food you’re given. I had the Vietnamese Sandwich and it was delectable. We also enjoyed a boba for dessert. They only serve it on Sundays and it was the perfect end to our meal. It was a bit too hot today to try the phó but we will return soon to give it a try. Overall good experience. I would highly recommend supporting this new place to eat in Visalia. –JV

On one of the few days it downpours in Central Cali, I had a hankering for phở that had to be addressed immediately. $ 6.50 for a small sized phở, which in phở bowl size language, is a pretty big bowl. The bean sprout, cilantro, and pepper garnishings were super fresh. Service was very attentive and friendly. 3 different people asked how I liked my phở. Ambience is on the darker side. This place seems to be a popular take out place because there were quite a few customers opting go take their goodies to go.

Service was very friendly and quick. Wife and I both got the P1 Beef Phở with all the fix ins… we both agreed there was an overwhelming Star Anise flavor in the broth. We both have had our fair share of different Phở, notably from Little Saigon in Westminster and Garden Grove, and this broth was a little off base. I think I will be back to try the Banh Mi and maybe another dish, but for Phở, I won’t be reordering… also seems quite pricy for a small bowl, $ 7. Probably some of the priciest Phở in the valley at that price and size. Steve Out.

Phở on a cold winter night, great comfort food. Last night, I finally got the chance to stop in. Thien and Jenny(owners) greeted me with smiles. Already, I knew it would be a pleasant dining experience. The Beef Phở House Special was delicious with a tasty broth. For those who are not familiar with Tendon and Tripe, these bring out the true flavors of Phở. Don’t worry about whats parts of the Beef it came from; just eat it and enjoy. Try it, you’ll like it I look forward to my next visit and ordering the Pork Banh Mi, Spring Rolls and Vietnamese Coffee. What a meal that would be. You’ll think you’re in Ho Chi Minh City *****Trish Vietnamese Café is in the former Papa Murphy“s Pizza building*****

Paid this place a visit last night because I’ve been anxiously waiting to try this place. Had the pork rolls which were super yummy, especially with their special house sauce, which isn’t like your typical peanut sauce used for spring rolls. The owners were exceptionally friendly, and the food was yummy. I had the shanking beef which i enjoyed. The only disappointment about this dish for me was the orange rice. I expected more flavor but it was disappointingly plain. My bf had the beef phở which he enjoyed. **Minus 1 star only because they didn’t have banh mi ATTHEMOMENT which I was really looking forward to. But hopefully that changes in the near future. All in all, great food & good people. Definitely will be back!
