I sure hope I get the owners of Sandbridge Realty’s attention on this review and I challenge her to respond with a valid reason why the issues I am dealing with haven’t been resolved. MORES OF WONDER house needs CABLE EQUIPMENT PRODUCED IN THIS CENTURY! I would also like a secure internet connection. Seems your office lost the password. This box doesn’t work! It doesn’t change channels. I cant connect the owners HD TV’s w/​the RED, YELLOW & WHITE CORDS!
Being the cox service is on a commercial account that is under your company my hands (the renter) and the owner hands are tied to be able to place the service request ourselves. ITS A PHONE CALL PEOPLE! YOU PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL COX AND ASK FOR THEM TO BRING EQUIPMENT. The owner is a senior citizen and pays YOU to maintain her home & cable. I call her every few days to inquire status. then she calls you. I even sent a rant email 2 weeks ago to a co owner there at your office and no response to me or the owner. Customer no service ! One would think you would get this call made before the owner decides to take her business next store to your competition, Seibert Realty. Hey Seibert ! You have a great chance at grabbing this 2^nd row home.
THIS IS AN ONGOING ISSUE FROM THE FIRST REQUEST OF SEPT 6TH AND HERE WE SIT OCTOBER 6TH WITH NO RESULTS. We are here thru May so I am not a weekly customer that you can blow off. Oh, wait… thats right, I am not your customer. Remember? How could i forget… your employees, Tina and Jenny and 2 other girls there have said that to me more than once «we dont make money off you as you rented from the owner and not us, we can only talk with the owner». So professional of them and I only got involved in an effort to help out this sweet senior citizen owner. I find my self feeling I need to stand up for her as your company has taken advantage of her. and not just with the cable issue but … well you know the other issues. If not, go back to Jenny. She has the whole run down in an email from my failed attempt to rent from your office and the whole toilet issues it took your service guys 3 visits to keep rigging it & replacing the wrong part only to tell the owner she needed a plumber. My husband fixed the issue with a $ 7 part from the depot. Saving the owners from having to pay a $ 150 service call to a service company.
You have about 8 girls up front. Find right brain and get her with left brain and make this happen!

My Fiancé at the time found this House and wanted to have our Wedding here, I said ok, it was pricy but SO WORTH IT! Had our Wedding at this wonderful amazing house that Sandbridge Realty Rented out to us. The house’s address that we stayed in is: 2852 Sandfiddler Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23 456. Gorgeous Beautiful House. 9 Rooms, 6.5 Bathrooms. Hot Tube, Pool, Beach, Cable TV, Dolphins, Crabs, Waves, and more. Huge Living room upstairs and a big Living room down stairs, kitchen was very cool, lots of beds, even had a room with bunk beds. Kitchen upstairs also. 2 decks as well. Thank you Sandbridge realty for letting us rent that house and making our Wedding-​Awesome, Outstanding, Beautiful, Gorgeous, Mind Blowing, it was a true Miracle!

Rented the Vacationer Viewpoint. Rooms were filthy bedding was dirty, carpet was stained and full of sand. I don’t know if the unit was cleaned before we arrived. We stayed for a week and on the first night the freezer stopped working we called the realty group and asked for service. WE NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. we had to purchase ice. We stayed here for the last week in Aug. The space was plenty for 8 adults. location perfect for the beach. If they would take the time to Clean this unit we might consider using this realty group again. Oh and WiFi was not available. We connected to the building next to us which seems to be a church. This did not ruin our vacation. However if you are looking for spotless high end apartment this might not be for you.

Terrible. Every single day you stay, the owner will come and check on you to make sure that you don’t destroy the house.e. It was very uncomfortable experience.

This morning I wrote the review below and gave Sandbridge Realty 1 star. This afternoon, I am updating it to 3. As indicated below, the people here have all been very responsive and that continued to be true today. The house is now clean! That made all the difference. Thank you, Terry! The blinds are now fixed, and some of the other issues as well. The refrigerator door is safe and I“m told they are replacing it. I am very impressed with with how our concerns were addressed. We had a great day today! Five stars for customer service — three up from a one for the experience.

I am here in Sandbridge right now. We arrived yesterday, with great excitement. For a variety of reasons, our family needs and deserves a peaceful vacation. The area is beautiful!!! I will definitely come back! Our welcome was fun. Sandbridge Realty gave us cute little doggie bowls for our puppy and her mentor! But, I will never rent from Sandbridge Realty again. With rent, tax, maintenance, dog fees etc, I paid quite a pretty penny to make a memory for my family. The house is older, with older features. I get that and don’t mind. That isn’t the problem. Repair, maintenance and cleanliness were NON-​EXISTENT! I think they rented my family — including my kids and my parents — the neighborhood party house that nobody bothered to really clean. The carpets were filthy and I had to call immediately (I was in the house 10 min) to get them cleaned. It is a pet friendly home, so I was concerned that it was pet stains, but the cleaner assured me he was certain they were «beverage stains.» He also indicated that there had never been complaints about this home. I am guessing because it is usually packed with large groups that spill on carpets. The walls, baseboards, doors, ledges and light switches were and some remain filthy (I’ve cleaned a bit and so did the college-​aged housekeeper who agreed that the place was disgusting. BTW — She was very friendly and kind.) The kitchen had coffee spills down the cabinet doors, the knobs on the kitchen cabinets were too putrid to touch; and the cheese grater is rusty. The screen porch and screen doors were ALL broken. I called for their repair but, unless I pointed out a particular door or screen, it didn’t get fixed. One frame remains flapping. The refrigerator door is rusted out with dangerous peeling rust on the door’s exterior — not very safe for my kids to grab a glass of juice. The outside shower doesn’t work well and, even if it did, you can’t use it because the lock is rusted open. I cleaned a picture in the living room and YEARS worth of tobacco residue wiped off. There is a mirror on the floor in one room that has clearly fallen off the wall. There is someone else’s hair on the wall in the bathroom. There are cob webs in corners and on light fixtures. Speaking of light fixtures, there were four burned out lightbulbs waiting for us on a table. There are no shelf liners in the kitchen, but there are ant traps in the cabinets with some dirty paper towels under allegedly clean dishes. My son reports that there was urine on the toilet when we arrived and the grass is more than a foot long. But, perhaps the long grass is to preserve the sand? Although, I just looked and the house on either side are neat and tidy. On the upside, the pool looks well maintained, except for the old discarded floats on the deck and the dirty, broken and battered white plastics chairs on both the pool deck and the deck overlooking the pool. Also on the upside, as noted earlier, the people have been pleasant and responsive. When I called to complain about conditions, Sandbridge Realty had units sent to the house immediately! The woman who took my call was friendly and attentive and the timing was remarkable! I really was surprised by how quickly someone showed up at the house. But, with the exception of the carpet cleaner the work was incomplete. Although even he walked in with a spray bottle and a rag, until he saw the multiple stains and called in the big equipment. And, there is a stain downstairs that we didn’t notice until after he left. All who have attended to the house have promised to report the problems back to management, but I have heard nothing. So, after hours of cleaning, I gave up and left an overly emotional message last night asking Sandbridge Realty to either clean and repair this place properly or move us. Perhaps they will call today. BTW — not a single set of vertical blinds is complete. I took many pictures. The condition of the house really is stunning. Oh yeah, there is also rusty torn up linoleum downstairs and the «game room» with foosball is too moldy/​musty smelling for my kids to use. But, as I said, Sandbridge is beautiful and we are looking forward to our time here !!! — just not in this house. There is a beautiful sunrise this morning!

This was my families first and last dealings wIth Sandbridge Realty. Where do I start? The only positive part of our dealings with Sandbridge was the check in. Quick and efficient. Oh, and the pool was nice. It all went down hill from there. Starting with dirty hairy sheets on the master bed that had never been stripped, the A.C. unit downstairs was not working properly and the filter looked like it had not been changed since the unit was bought. Then we will move on to the toenails that were under the kitchen table along with a bunch of sugar that was lying around everywhere. On to the kitchen where we could not even find a knife that would slice a tomato. Some rusty pots and pans were available for our cooking pleasure, and if you did not chose to use them, the food crusted pots and pans were also available. Most of the blinds did not work in the house, so you had to raise them one luver at a time. Next, the patio was splinter central with a grill that had a lid that was barely hanging on so we were afraid to use it. So on Monday 3 of our family members spent the better part of the day dealing with Sandbridge Realty. They did replace the grill, gave us new knives, a portable AC unit and new pots and pans. However, the never took responsibility for most of the problems and blamed the homeowner. My questions is this: If your cleaning crew is not doing their job, how is this the homeowners problem? You are PROPERTY MANAGEMENT! Sandbridge should be the ones that see that the properties are in good working order… BEFORE THE RENTER STARTS THEIR VACATION! It should not be the renters responsibility to have to deal with this!!! If I tell you how much my parent’s spent for this place, your stomach will turn. Almost 6,000.00 for the week. And they rented it for their 50^th wedding anniversary. We all are sickened. Later in the week, a man came to measure all of the blinds for the house in the afternoon when my young nieces were taking a nap and he wanted to get in to their room. He was just doing his job but REALLY? Then to top it all off, the water bill was not paid so their was a notice left on our door in the middle of the week and our water was turned off so we had to deal with that too!!! Finally, Sandbridge offered us a $ 500.00 credit on a future stay… ARE YOU KIDDING ME? After multiple phone calls to different people there, they finally offered us a $ 500 refund which STILL unacceptable… RENTERS BEWARE… AVOID SANDBRIDGE REALTY

Great place for family and friends to spend the weekend. My family and I rented two beach homes for the weekend. Homes need a little upgrading, other than that everything else was fine.

If I could give no stars I would. There are many rental agencies to pick from for your vacation rental — do not use ths one. We rented a home for a family reunion in August and were stunned at the condition of the property. We documented the horrible living siituation with pictures and emailed them to management. We were told that they were sorry but it was the end of the summer and the property was rented out and maintenance could not get in there to fix the property. We asked for a refund and are still waiting for some response. Be forewarned they will gladly take your money (we paid almost 7,000!!!) but find it impossible to make an obvious situation right!

We have rented houses at Sandbridge Beach for the past 3 years through Sandbridge Realty. All of the houses had been nice. Prior to making the reservation this year we called Sandbridge Realty for a recommendation and were given a favorable review of Coastal View II. Sad to say the recommendation was useless. The house is for sale and the owner has not spent a penny on upkeep. We had plumbing problems and the dishwasher did not work all week, this is a luxury house? The staff at Sandbridge Realty was not helpful at all and I am very disappointed in them, I will never rent through this company again.

Been renting from these guys for the past 6 years or so, and been renting houses in Sandbridge for about 12 years. These guys do what they’re supposed to, ensuring a happy vacation every year.

I would give this no stars, but it is a required field, so had to give it at least one star in order for it be posted. We had used Sandbridge Realty several years, in the last 20 +years. We went on family vacations every summer. We had good experiences until this year. We were set to go to the beach in June, and the day before we were to check in, our father passed away suddenly. It was a family vacation and he was also supposed to go. Due to this we had to cancel the trip to the beach. This is the first time we did not get trip insurance. Not only did we lose our money, Sandbridge realty refused to even give us any sort of discount for future trips. Sandbridge realty placed the blame on the owners of the house. They reported it was out of their hands, their was nothing they could do. They refused to refund even their cut/​fee to us. Additionally, they could not give us any sort of credit or discount for future trips, even during off season for a long weekend! They have no sense of decency and I feel the way we were treated was absolutely inhumane!

My family rented The Appitzer for a week from Sandbridge realty. I am not a novice when it comes to vacation rentals, as I have rented properties in Hawaii, Tahoe, Puerto Vallarta, Africa and the Mendocino Coast just to name a few. This however is one of the best I have stayed in. It was immaculately cleaned and furnished with no strange smells, bugs or fear of «gross, who sat/​slept hear before me». All the details were there, including beach cruisers, beach chairs, pool toys, a fully stocked kitchen, clean and packaged towels and linens etc. The grounds were beautifully kept and we always felt secure in this quiet beach community. The house was well laid out and the six adults were able to commune in the common areas (large open living and dining room), as well as retreat to our own separate havens in our bedrooms when needing some separate space. I will have wonderful memories of our family vacation and never had to worry about the house or having problems with the facility.
Our suggestions would be: More kitchen towels, pyrex baking dishes, better kitchen knives, scissors, toilet plunger and a cover or heater for the pool.
