Chinatown Imports is your taste of China in Pembroke Mall. Shying away from the cheap made in china items, Chinatown Imports sells videos, music and comic books all completely in Chinese (maybe with subtitles or over dubbed, but doubt it). Everything in Chinatown Imports has an authentic feel and if Asian culture or China in particular is your niche, they have a small selection of items to wet your thirst. Beautiful swords decorate the store and bright green bamboo plants in lovely pots add to the décor and would make a nice addition to any home. Of course, you’ll pay the price for the imported merchandise, but it’s a good deal for many items you really can’t find anywhere else in the city.
