This is a MUST visit if you consider yourself spiritual!!! Or maybe you are questioning life and where you fit into it. The bookstore is small but filled with treasures. The meditation room always calms me and makes feel connected to mother earth which often gets put to the side in my busy life. I make it a point to visit on an annual basis. I strongly recommend it and please visit tgmhe meditation garden.

Who am i? What’s this life thing all about? How can i attain an inner peace? And where are the aliens? If you’ve ever asked youself any of these questions, and who hasn’t, then prepare to find the answers and discover your divinity at Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. Founded in 1937 by «The Sleeping Prophet» Edgar Cayce, the A.R.E. is a highly regarded spiritual center for personal transformation and growth. Cayce(1877 – 1945), a devout Christian who is now widely considered the father of the New Age movement, designed the A.R.E. as a resource to assist in the development of mind, body & soul. Open to all seekers, the A.R.E. boasts an impressive world-renouned library of metaphysical books and supernatural media material — everything from alternative cancer-curing health therapy to cultivation of E.S.P. to dream interpretation and all esoteric subjects in between. You can just about grab any book off the shelf for a fascinating read or watch a video on crop circles or spirit channelling to get your mind blown. The center provides a peaceful all-access meditation room upstairs and daily activities in their auditoriums like Tai Chi classes and lectures from knowledgable presenters. A bookstore is also included for purchasing literature, CDs and novel gifts to help you on your journey. Outside is a tranquil Zen garden to reflect upon your experience and a unique stone-tiled labyrinth to walk while pondering the greater meaning of life. Also attached to the A.R.E. is The Cayce Reilly School of Massotherapy, which teaches and offers certified theraputic massage(call first for appointments) and Atlantic University, an accredited graduate level university for elevating your spirituality. Membership to the A.R.E. is optional and nearly everything there is FREE& open to the public. A couple donation boxes are discreetly positioned in the center but the staff is very quiet, pleasant & respectful — always welcoming to seekers, whether they financially contribute or not.(but if you hang out there, be cool and throw in a couple bucks if you got it — the Big Guy Upstairs appreciates it.) The A.R.E. is the best kept secret in reality — a serene environment and vast storehouse of holistic information with a gentle staff and all around positive spirit… the perfect place to expand your consciousness & touch the hand of God.
