ordered 4 different plates. Overpriced and terrible foods(tasteless & over cooked). Won’t come back. McDonald is much better & cheaper.

The customer service was not that great. The employees talked to their friend that came into the restaurant, ignoring us as we tried to order. The food is alright but small portions.

We came right before happy hour ended, and boy was that a good thing. Entrees were buy one get one free! We started with the crab dip(yum! Love the dippers)! Next came stuffed flounder. Excellent! Fresh fish, delicious crab stuffing(low on fillers), fresh steamed veggies and yummy mashed potatoes! A lot of food, and great service! Definitely coming back!

Worst experience ever. I knew it was bad when the waitress came up to me and my sis to let us know that she will not be taking our drink orders until our entire party was all there(we were a party of 5, btw). AND the place was not at all packed. Burgers were over-cooked and the fries were cold and soggy. The food was disgusting, the service was poor, and they were way behind on orders so we waited about 1.5 hrs for our food. Probably were 5 other parties at the restaurant. There were about 4 groups that left because after they were seated, nobody acknowledged them. On top of all of this, with our party of 5, they included 20% gratuity! I literally had to bite my tongue for the sake of my family. If I could give them no stars, I would! NEVER going back and would not recommend this place at all.

We ducked into 18th street right before the rain on a Tuesday afternoon. Our table ordered drinks and 2 appetizers. The drinks took over 20 minutes and we’re overly sweet. The cajun fries we’re great but the crab dip was served with two tiny packets of crackers.

Can you give no stars… Yuck…Guess the cook didn’t like us complaining about her cooking, as we walked by later on in the evening she spit on my dog, then ran back into the restaurant. Can you imagine what she does to peoples food in the kitchen!

Hardly impressed with my BBQ sandwich. Very heavy vinegar taste with a very small portion of pork. Not worth the money at all. My wife had the flounder sandwich which was really good. Won’t be coming back. Staff is nice but seem a bit unorganized. Possibly understaffed not sure. Typical tourist bar and grill. Everything overpriced by 3 – 4 bucks.

Stopped in for some drinks and apps around 2pm on a Friday. Recommend waiting until 3 when happy hour starts! We sat on the deck overlooking the beach. It was windy but still very pleasant in that atmosphere. Super casual. Our server was great! So friendly and attentive. I recommend the crab dip with the pita rounds if you’re getting an app. The crab cakes were good as well but the cajun fries were just ok. Our drinks were all good. The rum runner was very sweet, the south end punch was delicious and not as sweet, frozen margarita was the right balance. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.

Food was good, not great. Atmosphere and location are best thing about this place. Service was acceptable but could’ve been better, you could sense 1 particular waitress was snippy toward her coworkers, quite uncomfortable(this waitress apparently doesn’t realize guests can sense this). We were there on a slow Sunday evening, not sure why our waitress was not more attentive, we saw her 3 times, 1) greets us, 2) took order(someone else brought it out) 3) get the check. Overall it’s s 3 but with more effort could’ve been a 4. Live music added to an already grata atmosphere.

Delicious food… beach burger is tasty and huge, crab cakes are all crab meat and the chicken alfredo was made fresh with real cheese and nicely grilled chicken. Not too busy. Renee is an awesome waitress! Drinks are good too and so was crab dip. I’m a local and funny about food on the strip and was skeptical about eating here bc bad reviews but we were having drinks and glad we stayed for dinner!

Other reviews may not be favorable but the meal I had is great. The chicken florentine with spinach lemon and bacon is filled with flavor and proportion is sufficient. Scallops with butter sauce is also very tasty.

Foods mediocre and the place is pretty chill. A typical bar & grill. The service was nice and quick. Our server was a delight. Nothing really memorable.

My husband was in the Navy and he ate here a lot. We went there yesterday with our 3 kids and the food was OK overall. My shrimp were fishy tasting and tasteless. Small amount to for high price. The kids chicken fingers were tasty. The kids pasta with Alfredo sauce was good as well. My husband got the crab cakes. small amount for high price, he wasn’t impressed like he use to be. We personally won’t go back, mediocre food for high price b/c of location is not good for getting repeat customers.

The service is the only thing that gets a star. Denise(I think it was Denise?) was great. The things out of her control, like quality of food, not so much. We stayed in the hotel and figured we’d check it out simply out of convenience. Checking their menu though, everything lent itself to «this comes in from wherever and sits in a freezer until we nuke it». the only kind of shrimp offered was«fried or baked». I’ve never heard the term«baked» shrimp, but I was pretty sure nothing would be anywhere near fresh. Couldn’t have been more right. Food was terrible. Would have been better to go to Red Lobster. Seriously. An appetizer an two dinners plus tip came out to about $ 60. That’s $ 60 for some of the most mediocre(at best) food you’ve ever tasted. This place would be best for drinks on the patio or maybe lunch. I’d keep walking for dinner, though I couldn’t tell you where as nearly every restaurant in VB tourist area offers this same type of crap.

Really good cheeseburger! Also, even though the front desk of country inn says the restaurant doesn’t do room service, it kinda does. They charge $ 5+20% gratuity if you want them to bring it up to your room. No take out menus, so I had to take pics with my phone.

We were not expecting much from 18th St and we were pleasantly surprised with our dining experience here. Given how beautiful the weather was outside, we decided to sit out on the patio overlooking the beach and it was very comfortable out there. Overall, the place appeared recently remodeled inside and the entire space felt rather clean. Plus the food and quality of service were both better than expected. Our waitress was also kind and had memorized all of our very particular orders without error. Every time I see that a waiter isn’t jotting down the order for the table I always get nervous for them and expect some sort of mistake… but all went well here! As a whole, I’d consider this place a good lunch option due to its convenient location right along water. My only complaint is how unexpectedly pricey this place ended up being, considering we mostly ordered sandwiches and nothing too fancy, but whatcha gonna do — you’re paying for the location I guess!

My friends and I went here last summer and had the best experience. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for this time. The whole reason we went here was for the nachos, which they no longer have on the menu. The menu looked ok so we decided to stay. The waitress was nice and asked the manager about it who said no, no nachos. If the manager was profession they should have come out themselves and apologized to us and explained why. I ended up getting a burger, which was only mediocre. It was literally a frozen hamburger patty, nothing fresh or worth the $ 13 it cost. We should have known when no one was there that it was a bad sign. Needless to say, we will not be going back there again and would never recommend this place to anyone. Happy beaching!

The menu and outdoor patio looked nice and the food wasn’t too expensive so we decided to have dinner here, which we regretted. The service was not friendly at all. For claiming to be a seafood place right on the boardwalk, there was not many fresh seafood options on the menu to choose from… I was expecting to see mussels or oysters or maybe more than one kind of fish. I ordered the shrimp cocktail with a side salad and my date ordered the«hamburger steak» with mashed potatoes. The side salad was fine, which made us excited for the meal. The menu said the shrimp were boiled and then chilled, and I was expecting a fresh shrimp cocktail. Instead I got tiny, transparent shrimp with no tails. They tasted fishy and disgusting and were clearly thawed frozen shrimp. They looked and tasted so unappetizing that I didn’t even finish. As for the«hamburger steak,» my date was under the impression that it was going to be a steak in a hamburger bun, which is an easy misunderstanding, but the menu should not be so misleading and clarify that it is not a burger, but just a flimsy burger patty that looked like it was from McDonald’s with no bun. The burger patty is served as a «steak.» If this sounds confusing to you, it was confusing to us too. The menu also said that it would be served with grilled onions, mushrooms, mashed potatoes. There were no onions and the meal was not even hot. It was just a thin hamburger patty, smothered in gravy on «mashed potatoes» which just looked like a potato had been microwaved and smooshed. It looked disgusting and we were paying $ 14 for a very thin hamburger patty that we could have gotten at McDonalds. We were very disappointed with our meals at a seemingly nice restaurant and hope this review will help others. We should have noticed that the place was empty, but the nice looking menu fooled us. We ended up paying about $ 36 total for the meal, which was definitely not even close to worth it, and later we talked about how we should have just gone to Subway or had pizza. I’m not sure how you could mess up food that badly if you are a restaurant or how serving food of such low quality is acceptable to anyone that dines at 18th street seafood bar & grill. Don’t go here.

I think this is the Stringer’s 18th Street that we had lunch at. If not, I apologize. The sandwiches were actually pretty good at this location. But we ran into pretty slow service even with a nearly completely empty restaurant.
