Envy Bar and Grill

18 – 20 year old meat market «dance club.» orange, jersey shore clientele. inane top 40 music. absolutely packed. if you are a highschooler on spring break, you will love it, otherwise, avoid this club.

Drinks were very expensive although their was a blue drink that everyone seemed to be getting that was cheap. Surprisingly they were grilling homemade hamburger and fresh cut fried in the back for 5 bucks.

the most AWFUL bar I have ever been to. The bartenders were dirty and gross. The owner/​manager was wasted and very unprofessional. The drinks were cheap, but they came in very small cups with little (or no) alcohol. Karaōke was GHETTO, and the system broke down several times. I stayed for about 20 minutes before I realized it WAS NOT WORTH MY TIME.
the WORST PART IS: THE OWNER HANDED OVER MY WALLET TO SOMEONE ELSE. I left my wallet that night and called them as soon as I got back to my hotel. The owner rudely told me that they were closing and that she «would not wait up for me» so we both agreed that I would pick it up in the morning before i left for home. When I went to pick it up, the owner was not there and another bartender told me he couldn’t find it. When the owner arrived she began to look for my wallet, and when she couldn’t find it she proceeded to tell me that I came back last night and she gave it to me. ONLY THING IS: I DID NOT GO BACK TO THE BAR THAT NIGHT. She then began to question my sobriety and insisted that it was me who she gave the wallet to. THEN her story changed: she began to say it was her bouncer who gave me the wallet. She had me talk to her bouncer on the phone who described what the person he gave it to was wearing, which was NOT what I was wearing that night (pictures to prove). When it was «all over» the owner explained to me that she must’ve given my wallet to someone else, gave me a sorry ass half-​apology, and told ME that «it wasn’t her responsibility to babysit my belongings».
THE PEOPLE HERE ARE RUDE AND IRRESPONSIBLE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS HORRENDOUS EXCUSE FOR AN ESTABLISHMENT.

Okay, this is in Virginia Beach, so my expectations were not that high from jump.
This place is called Envy.
It’s not a club, not a lounge.
.it’s a bar.
.and it sucks, a lot.
They had $ 2 Vodka Lemonade shots on special. I think I would have rather had the money back after how terrible they were.
At least the bartender comped one of my Heinekens.
The DJ was atrocious. I’ve heard better music at Hominy, so that’s not saying much. He couldn’t read the crowd at all — was switching between genres all over the place.
Oh AND, he was playing with CDs. Not a CD-​J. Pulling burned cds out of his book and playing them — no transition.
He did randomly play an Emilio Rojas joint.
Again, this is not a club as the name would suggest.

Like many places down at the Oceanfront, Envy is a bar. That’s it, a bar. There’s music and drinks and people and that’s it. Not that there’s anything wrong with that and I really couldn’t tell you what more I would be expecting (maybe jello wrestling Chip n Dales dancers, just kidding). But Envy is a fun place with a good vibe. The music is a nice and neutral mix of popular hip-​hop and rock, so it’s an agreeable place for all of your friends. Another plus is that although it’s a pretty popular place, it doesn’t seem nearly as crowded as some of the other spots on the strip (that’s what we call Atlantic Avenue). So drop in for a drink and check it out. You’re sure to make a new friend or two

This is your basic bar — the waitresses are friendly and the beer is cheap.
We came here for all you can eat crab legs and shrimp ($ 15 per person) and stuffed our faces with crab and beer.
There are numerous TVs so a good place to watch football games.
The vibe is very chill.

Cheap happy hour but it took me 5 mins to get a drink.
