Miserable cashiers, bad customer service & low quality fruits & vegetables. I wrote them personally to tell them about a issue that involved 1 of thier cashiers being rude to a customer. They read the message & couldn’t even write back & acknowledge the issue. So I guess customers don’t matter.

Overpriced and low quality produce. It is a shame walking into a produce store with such terrible produce.

Sssshhhhhhh… I’m going to tell you a secret: Santori’s is the bomb and most locals have no idea it exists. Its location in a battered old strip mall causes most people to drive right on by without a second thought. Let ‘em remain clueless and keep this tip between you and me, m’kay? To find a better produce outlet, you’d have to go to Philly. Of the several produce outlets in the area, Santori’s is my favorite. Prices are by and large, much lower than the grocery store, which makes it work the 20+ minute drive out of my way. Unlike most of the other produce places in the area, they have more than just red(undelicoius) apples, oranges and lettuce. They have less common produce items such as beets, rutabegas, plantains, yuca, aloe, portabella mushrooms, and fresh herbs. Santori’s carries a wide variety of apple, tomato and lettuce varieties. In the summer time, they sell produce that is about to go bad über-cheap. One year I got a FLAT of strawberries for a dollar because by the next day they would have been inedible, but they were perfect for immediate canning. They also have a deli stocked with D&W meats and cheese which are priced on the low side of normal for deli meats. They also have a limited selection of specialty italian deli meats and cheeses. They even have fresh sliced sandwich steak meat(although they don’t slice it as thin as I would like.) Their selection dried fruits and nuts is cheap! To name a few, they’ve got dried cherries, cranberries, papaya, pineapple, sesame seeds, cashews all WAAAAY cheaper than the grocery store. The also have milk, bread, fresh rolls and bagels, chips and a small selection of Puerto Rican and Italian specialty items. A word of warning, avoid shopping at Santori’s on Monday morning because their stock is inevitably depleted.
