Infamous for their cheesestakes… and the people are very helpful

Conveniently located in the center of Vineland, this liquor store has a wide variety of anything you may need! The staff is very courteous and will cater to your needs if you require assistance. I called on my way there because I was looking for a particular beer and although they did not carry it, they made some helpful suggestions for some alternative choices. very nice of them. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. The only downside is upon walking in, there is a very strong and unpleasant odor. as well as an employee who seems to follow everyone throughout the store, perhaps to ensure there is no theft.

Ok-​This review is mainly about the cheese steaks there. And since they boldly have a sign out front «Voted Best Cheese Steaks», I’ve had no choice but to try them. And for about $ 5 – 6 bucks you not only get a LOADED Cheese Steak, but a tasty one. Only one time did I get a little bit of «gristle» in the sandwich. Most places in the area sell Cheese Steaks in the $ 7−8−9 (or more) dollar range that have less than ½ the meat that they put into these bad boys. The menu looks like it has about 40 items on it, and I’ve not tried anything else but a Bacon Egg and Cheese Hoagie one morning for breakfast… It was ok– but not how I expected it. They cooked the eggs in one long piece like an omelet and put the bacon and cheese over the eggs. Wasn’t horrible-​just not as good as I’d hoped it would be. I don’t use the Liquor side so I cannot comment on it. The ladies cooking the food are always very nice and polite and friendly. Only thing is that the Deli side closes down rather early (7pm?), so it’s a better place to go for lunch or carry-​out.

Main Road liquors gets voted best of the best for their cheesesteaks just about every year. They pulvarize the meat so there’s none of the stringy gross stuff. They’re a good size for the price. Yummy cheese fries too. Can’t comment on any of their other menu items because why buy anything else when the steak sandwiches are so darn good? It takes over 20 minutes to drive from my house in the boondocks just to get their darn cheesesteaks, but it’s worth it.
