History

Established in 2004.

Celtic Cleaning & Home Solutions started the summer of 2004, providing Move In/​Out Cleanings to renters, property owners, and so on. We perfected our deep cleaning with the addition of carpet cleaning, and then added our full service cleaning for residential and commercial clients. We now have many clients on our weekly, bi-​weekly, and monthly services. Most of our clients have been with us since opening our doors.

Erin comes from a family of small business owners and entrepreneurs, raised in a very clean and hygienic home and family, and has plenty of experience in larger corporations.

Cleanliness is a core part of her belief system, knowing a clean home or office allows you to focus on greater things, and with much ease and less stress.

As Celtic Cleaning & HS has grown, Erin is needed heavily in the office and on estimates, but you can still catch her in the field, working side by side with the staff, training, and supervising. Quality control is at the utmost importance to both Erin and Celtic.

Mediocre service. Would never know what I would get week to week. One week the cleaning was amazing then the next week things were completely missed, cleaning supplies left out, bed left unmade. It was like someone ran out mid-​service. Scheduling was difficult. Overpriced compared to new service as well.

Unfortunately I have called them 3 times to schedule an appointment and have not had my call returned. At this point I think they may be out of business. I have used them before and liked their work, but at this point I can’t recommend them. Like I said, maybe they are out of business.

Not sure why Erin keeps changing her story and posting new responses to my first review, but we do not owe her money and it’s funny that she’d accuse us of owing her money 4 months later. We terminated Celtic Cleaning because they repeatedly plugged in air fresheners upside down, causing the oil to leak everywhere, and the most recent time destroyed a $ 150 hair straightener which they refused to replace. So she’s the one who actually owes us money– funny how she omits that part and accuses us. Payment is due at the time of service, so how can we owe her money? Take a look at her unprofessional responses (that she keeps updating months later to change her story) and judge for yourself if this is the kind of person you’d want in your home. She really needs to accept responsibility for her mistakes and move on.

I started using Celtic Cleaning a few months back based on a recommendation from my sister. Erin and April began cleaning my apartment, and each time the place looked fantastic.
When I recently bought a new place, I asked Erin and April to do a move-​in cleaning the day before I actually moved. When I got to the place the next day with the movers and saw their work, I was stunned. The place was so clean, and smelled so good. It was amazing! I felt at home immediately, and I have Erin and April to thank for that.
If you’re looking for a home cleaning service, look no further. They are the best.

I am overjoyed!!!
Yesterday was the first time Erin and April came to clean. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I got home. I have never had a cleaning service prior, and normally I would be a little apprehensive leaving total strangers in my house. But when I met Erin the day before, she was very personable and professional (English is her first language, a huge plus) and NORMAL. I was a skeptic, but after her being in my home for only an hour, I was sold on her professionalism and respectability.
I come from a long line of cleaner’s. Me? Eh, not so much, but I do love a clean home. I came home and my condo sparkled. I didn’t think it could ever get so clean. I mean it. I almost want to drive my mother and older sister to my house and rub their faces in it. My home may now be cleaner than theirs (that is saying something)!
If you are on the fence about hiring a cleaning service. Call her! :)

Wow, I never realized how poor of a job I did cleaning until I had Celtic Cleaning clean my house! From top to bottom, they did a fantastic job. We have a dog and they not only treated him kindly, but they also were able to get his fur off of all of our furniture.
I also took advantage of their handyman service and had them install a ceiling fan and fix a door that wasn’t closing properly. Both of these jobs were done flawlessly.
The booking process was very easy; Erin was very accommodating and her prices were very competitive. I have already set up two more cleanings.

Erin is literally a component of therapy for me! I am absolutely overwhelmed by my clutter. I’m not a hoarder because I love to throw things out. I just cannot maintain an orderly home. I am a professional; I am organized at work … but at home, I am too humiliated to even let friends come over.
Two years ago, Erin came into my disaster area of a condo with no judgement what-​so-​ever and made sense of it when I couldn’t even begin to know where or how to start. I don’t even know where to begin. Erin helped me SORT, TOSS, KEEP, PACK, PILE, FOLD, POST, SELL, DONATE, and, of course, clean. She even gave me homework assignments to be completed between her visits! SHE TAKES SO MUCH STRESS OUT OF MY LIFE!
The services don’t stop at organizing and cleaning. She has a handy-​man. He sanded, stained, & installed cabinet handles, fixed a hole in the wall, installed a closet system (minimum cost to do that through the store is $ 180!!), & put up blinds. The cost is ridiculously fair compared to other professionals.
Unfortunately, I let too much time go between visits (I have no idea why – it’s certainly not the cost), and I call Erin at random times. She ALWAYS COMES THROUGH and squashes my stress whether I’m up against a deadline for company coming or just at my wits end. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Erin and your team!!! You’re the best!

After months of bickering about cleaning the house & trying a few different «groupon & youswoop specials» we came across Erin & her crew, and boy are we glad we did. Our bathrooms are like new and they do a great job throughout the house, especially a home with 2 hairy cats who insist on pulling their food out of the bowl and onto the floor! The jams of our sliding doors never looked so good & a mysterious hard glue that has been a royal pain for 5 years was removed by Carson– miracle! I cook 6 nights a week and our stovetop is often a mess, but Lauren tackles it with gusto. They are timely, friendly & aren’t afraid of using some elbow grease. My weekends are mine again thanks to Erin’s wonderful team. Give them a call, you won’t regret it.

Beware that if you make your appointment just a few days before it’s scheduled, yours will be the first to go if they have a staffing issue. I think they’re in over their heads, from a workload/​staffing balance. The first time I used them, they did a nice job, but the second time with the communication via text and lack of «can we make it up to you?», and the extremely frazzled afternoon I had trying to make up for their last minute cancellation makes me steer clear.

Where do I began!!! Erin has been a life a saver in many ways for my family. She a professional, and provides a great service. We’ve used her services for all 3 of our homes. Erin is trust worthy, dependable, and does a damn good job of cleaning/​deep cleaning! You’d be a fool not to use her services. Seriously! Her rates are extremely reasonable which is why I always give her a respectable tip– her work speaks for it’s self!

Erin is fantastic! She is very professional and communicates well. I found Celtic Cleaning on the internet and I was a bit cautious at first. But those worries went away in the first few minutes after Erin arrived. My place needed help and she did wonders. Always finding a little extra something to focus on. The rates are very reasonable. Erin will always discuss options and give an accurate quote. NO spontaneous up charges!

Both my roommate and I are students and we found our apt hygiene situation getting a little out of control, esp since I had people coming to stay in a week. Now, my room is always a disaster, I mean can’t even sleep on my bed or see the floor disaster. We had dust for days and dishes in places that dishes should not be. Gawd, I’m embarrassing myself.lol.anyway, I hopped on CL to find someone with a base price that would fit a students budget, emailed a few people, then began talking with Erin about what would be a big job. We agreed on a time, price, and what we wanted cleaned. Erin was running a little late but she most definitely called and let me know she would be a little late. We walked through the apt together so I could show her thru and then I got out of her hair and left her to do her thing. A few hrs later, she called to let me know that she wasn’t done but had another appt she had to get to and would come back and finish later. I totally agreed and that’s exactly what happened. When my roommate and I returned home, our mouths hit the floor at how great our place looked and smelled. Blinds dusted, window sills cleaned, vacuumed carpet, dishes cleaned, bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms… A-freaking-MAZING…We were more than happy with Erin and I can’t speak to the 1 star mishap cuz that sux but she was a cleaning rockstar with us and I wouldn’t hesitate to call her again.

I had a great dialogue with the owner Erin Everskemper prior to our appointment. We discussed her services, referrals and agreed upon a time that she assured me would not be a problem. In fact her exact words were, «Not at all, 7:30 is perfect! I love to get an early start. It helps ensure you get the best clean possible». Not only did Erin not show up at our agreed upon time, but she did not call, and still 3 hours later while I am writing this review I have not received a phone call, even though I attempted to reach her several times and left an email. It’s appalling one’s lack of professionalism. Obviously, she does not deserve the one star but I don’t think I can rate her a 0 which is obviously the case.
