Great old divey bar! Super strong drinks! Many Pool tables & darts throughout place(2 levels). The food was good, tons of fried food and large portions, great for a happy hour or drink after work!

This is an excellent choice for pub food and a quick lunch away from the office. I especially enjoy the Fish ‘n’ Chips because they allow me to switch a small side salad for the chips. I’m just not a big fan of french fries. The fish portion is very generous and the breading used is always crispy and cooked to a perfect golden brown. The fish(Cod or Halibut) depending on your choice is never dried out. The accompanying tartar sauce is not heavy at all and works very well with both fish choices. My only warning is about the burgers. If you want a plain cheeseburger make sure you order the Union Jack and not the Pub Burger. The Pub Burger has BBQ sauce on it and is a bit shocking to the taste buds if you’re not expecting it. Overall, a great place to relax and have a very nice lunch. The service is impeccable! Side note, I checked my phone for messages during lunch and noticed I was getting free WiFi from Starbucks next door — YEAH!

My wife and I love this place. The food is good(pub food), the staff is nice, and the atmosphere is so relaxed. This place is perfect for any Anglophile trying to get by in Ventura County. The pub burger is delicious, the beer is always plentiful and cold. Try it out.

This was my first time at this place. New to the area and was looking for a new hangout spot. I think this is definitely the kind of place you can turn in to a regular spot. They have good beer, the food wasn’t all that great but its not bad. I’ll definitely be back

Awesome service. Great place to hang out after the golf course. Hidden. Like really hidden. Cheesy potato soup was awesome. Beers kept coming and that’s what we liked. Great Job Victora Pub!

Went to have lunch with a friend. Nice low key local pub where everyone seems to know everyone by name. The waitress was friendly and service was good. I had the cottage pie since I was in a British pub I figured I would try something British. It was pretty good. You could tell it was made from scratch. My friend had a salad. There was plenty of your usual choices like salads, burgers and sandwiches. Everyone was very friendly and the place had a nice vibe.

I just moved to Ventura County 4 months ago, so I’ve been checking places out! I happened upon Victoria Bar & Grill and was pleasantly surprised how awesome my experience was! The bartender was a gem! The service was superior, the food to die for, and I felt like I was at my neighborhood bar being treated like ‘Norm’! Reasonably priced and a definite British venue that is comfortable and home-like! I met a very nice regular and the place was busy throughout the lunch hour! I think I’ll come back for happy hour sometime… should be fun!!!

The year was 1997 and it was my cousins 21st Birthday(sorry to call out your age Cuz) and a group of us ventured into Victoria Pub & Grill, dressed like we were Clueless rejects and so in style for the 90’s… we all had shots of Goldschläger to toast the newly christened legal adult and what a way to enter your 21st year, feel the burn… 18 years later… no wait that can’t be right, nooooo. The décor is in deep mahogany tones and at night the lights are low which gives it a intimate feel, upstairs you will find they have dart boards & pool tables if you feel the need to play. Downstairs you will find tables and chairs throughout the bar, as well as a few booths, this is a great for taking a group of friends for a drink, or if you hungry they have a menu, from Fish & Chips, Pasta, Burgers, & Appetizers. They also have Televisions so if you are in the market to watch a game and have a brew, its idea. While not the trendiest of spots, it has a nice casual laid back vibe for those that just want to take it easy and enjoy the moment. You can order your meal for take out, we’ve done this at our office before and we’ve never had a issue with the food not being ready, and the waitress has always been friendly and helpful.

This place is truly a good home-feel bar. Nice food, chill place to watch games, darts, etc. Service is good too. 2 floors of chillin without the frills of an uppity establishment. A great place to hang with a few friends. Try the wings; dry.

I love this place I go whenever I get the chance, the food is always good, the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is always comfortable for a sports bar. I highly recommend this pub if you want decently priced good food with great service.

First off, there is more than meets the eye to this place. It is a cool, «British-Style» pub in the middle of a suburban strip mall right in the heart of the Middle/East side of the city of Ventura. It is actually quite a very large bar featuring a pretty good selection of draught beers, bottled craft ales and an average selection of spirits. That said, the bartenders are friendly and happy to help you and your friends on your way to a nice buzz at a fair price if that’s your thing. There are many different areas to hang out including the bar, the dart room, the dining room, the upstairs and even the patio outside which seems likes like a friendly place to burn a heater, even though I don’t smoke. There are various parlour games available as well as a nice selection of board games to use at your leisure, a bunch of TVs so that if you are watching something you are interested in you can follow the whole thing, but it isn’t a «Sports Bar» per se in which the presence of the TV showing the game will be distracting you if you don’t care about said event. Anyway, I like this place. It is by no means the best place in town, but it will always do you right if you’re in the mood to relax with a friend or two and a drink or two. That said… Victoria Pub has, by far, the BEST chicken wings I’ve tasted anywhere in the whole of Ventura County. Highly recommended. Get an order of chicken wings, dry, with the buffalo sauce and the dressing of your choice on the side. I found out that today, July 29, was National Chicken Wing day in the USA and although I wasn’t looking to head to the bar with friends or even hang out at the pub for a pint and some wings on my own, so although I didn’t make it a big night out, I had to come to Victoria Pub for an order of wings in honor of the holiday, to go. Although I’ll be back for drinking and social activities soon, I wanted good chicken wings, and there was no where else to go besides Victoria Pub & Grill. I know that they have other food, as for me, I’ll have the wings. 5 stars as, well… just try the wings.

The food is good. But the service sucks my waitress was lousy and a bit rude. I came here twice now and the service still sucks. To me my waitresses seemed bothered to have me as a customer. I think they only care for their regulars.

I would have never imagined such a classic pub would be located in a strip mall in Ventura. To think that this great pub has been around since the 80’s and I had never visited until this week. The food here terrific. Great menu with classic pub fare and American bar food. The chicken Wellington was excellent. Super friendly staff and great service. Good prices. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. We will definitely be back.

I’ve been here twice recently. Both time I had a fabulous Sierra Nevada Pale Ale in a clean glass served from an awesome waitress(yay!). I got the curry the first trip and it was great — really delicious. I came again yesterday and had jalapeño poppers and a fish sandwich… not a whole lot of flavor. The fish smelled really fishy too so the rest of the members of my party weren’t thrilled. Overall, nice ambiance and a great place for a beer, but I’m not all that impressed with the food.

Always loved this place. They changed their menu to smaller plates, but that’s just smart business, and it’s still a pretty good portion. Drinks are always good and strong(or mine are anyway) and the food is prompt as is service. A favorite of mine.

We keep going back here thinking that it’s going to be good but it just never is. The environment’s nice but the service is lousy and the food isn’t any better. We must have been in here six times over the years, and we want it to be good, but we always leave disappointed. We think the only reason to go in here is to sit at the bar, drink a couple of beers and watch a game.

The Skinny: Great place to chill with friends, friendly environment and the bartenders know your name. Wow… sounds like Cheers. Environment: Very, very chill environment. After so many times of being here, it feels kind of like a second home. The bottom floor has mostly tables and the main bar, with a game of darts to the side. The second floor has some more tables and also several pool tables if you fancy a game or two. Service: Staff here is awesome. They make an effort to remember your name, remember your drink if you come here enough. Very approachable and most of the time nobody has a stick up their ass unlike some other places out there. Also, hours are great, as they only close on two days of the entire year(I forgot which days they were…) Food/Drinks: Decent selection of beer and whiskeys. They have some drinks that are only available for a short period of time throughout the year and they go fast. For food, it’s bar food, what do you expect. But you know what, it hits the spot after a long day of work. Love their tri tip steak fries! Overall: 4⁄5 Need a place to chill with friends? Wanna just grab a quick drink? Game of pool/darts? It’s a holiday? It’s late? Victoria’s is definitely the place to be.

After being here for over a year, I’m having a change of heart from my previous review. At first sight, Victoria didn’t draw me in, but just like a relationship, it grew on me over time. Victoria’s has become my go-to, neighborhood bar. Food still sucks, but the atmosphere, the relationships with the staff and bartenders, and the seasonal craft beers they have available makes this place awesome. One tip: Kitchen closes at 9pm SHARP. If you must partake in some munchies, I recommend steak fries with tri-tip, or bacon bits with cheese(both off the menu).
