I have never written a review before but this one is worthy of my time. I am and have always been deathly afraid of the dentist. Some trauma when young including painful experiences, kicking a dentist and getting me thrown out of the office when eight years old, etc. etc. Despite my fears I have gone on a regularly basis forever. When finding dr. Horowitz about fifteen years ago my prayers were answered. He was respectful and teasing regarding my fears but his light handed dental technique is remarkable. You don’t feel much. He is honest and works with integrity. I also want to keep three cheers for Mirma, my hygienist… she is more than terrific. I am not happy he is retiring but after all the years of great service he deserves it.

I have been going here since I was a little, little kid… no joke. My whole family has been going to Dr. Horwitz for years and years. However, I hated going to the dentist then, and I still hate going to the dentist now. I have seriously sensitive gums, and depending on who cleans my teeth when I go, sometimes it’s not so bad, and other times it is NOO buenos. If you get the right cleaner, the whole process is relatively pain-​free. All of that aside, the staff are super nice and mostly try to be as careful as they can when scraping away the plaque. I like all the goodies they give you after (toothbrush, floss, etc.), but it still makes me miss the days when I got to pick a toy out of the treasure chest.

He’s the best. Honest, great work, never hurts. His partner, however, is another story.

I love my dentist. Dr. Horwitz and his staff are very professional and they make going to the dentist a very enjoyable experience. I’ve been going here for over a decade and, even though I’m now too old to qualify for a toy after my cleaning, I still leave happy every time. I can’t imagine anyone doing a better job.
