Specialties
Tap & Cork has a small home town pub feel. We are located on the northwest corner of Miami Ave and US41. We have a nice selection of wine as well as 20 beers on tap, 17 of which are rotating taps, so there is always a great selection of craft beers. We are home of the Venice Flabongo. If you don’t know what that is, come and check it out and get your picture on our wall. There is always something fun happening at Tap & Cork. Our hours are Sunday-Thursday 3pm — 12am and Friday-Saturday 3pm — 2am. Live music every Friday and Karaōke every Saturday!

Meet the Business Owner
Jennifer M.
Business Owner
Jennifer was born and raised in Sarasota. She graduated from Riverview High School in 1993. She is a mother of 4 children, ages 21, 19, 8 and 9. Jennifer started working at Tap & Cork in 2010 and now she is the sole owner and loves every minute of it. Although she may not physically tend bar anymore, you can usually catch her there almost every morning making sure everything is just right for the night to come. However it would be very hard to do without the help of her fiancé, Troy. He graduated from Southeast High School in 1988 and owns his own business in Sarasota, Florida. Both Jennifer and Troy are avid fishermen and hunters. They love the outdoors and taking their kids to explore what the outdoors have to offer.
