Classics Steakhouse & Island Grill

We went the other night food was very good steaks were cooked the way they were ordered the Brussels sprouts and risotto were fabulous waitstaff and bar staff needed some training in attentiveness. Would go back

Food was good. We had Tuna Tacos. We also had Fired-​up Shrimp. They were delicious. I am only giving 3 stars because the cleanliness could have been a little better. There seemed to be hair-​like fibers everywhere. The crayons that were given to my 2 year old had hair wrapped around them. We sat outside, so we weren’t expecting fine dining, but I wasn’t expecting to have to brush off my seat before I sat. I would come here again, but I’d probably sit inside and hope for a cleaner experience.

Went here on a Friday nite and enjoyed the music and dancing with a couple visiting from out of town. We had so much fun that we decided to come back with our guests the following Nite for a dinner in the indoor restaurant. BOY WHAT A MISTAKE!!! The waiter that served us had to ask everyone to repeat their order several times and when the appetizer came out he had forgotten certain items. Apologies rained down and were repeated ad nausium as we waited over an hour for our main course. The very worst part was when the dining room female manager came over with an obnoxious attitude making stupid excuses for the delay but offered NOTHING to compensate us for our ordeal. The food that arrived was not cooked as ordered. At this point we just wanted to get out of this place and know to never return for a meal. Major disappointment!!!

Great atmosphere. Chicken fingers, fries, steak, and grouper were all good. Worth a try if you are in the area. Also bringing in some great bands.

Beer for happy hour for 4 bud light drafts were 10.70. Would hate to see what regular non happy hour is. Didn’t eat though.

Service awful, food awful, a sad addition to our amazing community. We will never return. We wanted to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful weather, I thought it was nice we could select a meal from either menu except it was all awful. My daughter had no bacon on her bacon cheeseburger, my husband ordered the same and they ran out of buns so they cut a hotdog bun in half? For as long as we waited to be served they could have crawled to Publics and got buns. The steaks we had were over cooked and leather! The asparagus… my 11 year old could have done better. We begged for drinks and still waited… Horrible, the poor girl serving us, she was kind but what should she do. The menu had a fun theme but the décor ??? What the heck, needless to say they jumped the gun on opening and it was a terrible idea. Unfortunately they screwed up a location that has a ton of potential… Someone come in and do it right. Hire cooks that can cook, train your bartenders because that was a joke, and for goodness sake why don’t you have a website. Venice deserves better. If I could give no stars I would!
