Specialties

5 minutes to sailing on the open Gulf from the Crow’s Nest in Venice. Every trip is a unique experience. Get away on «inspiration», take the helm or relax to the sound of water, wind and waves. Complementary drinks and snacks are included. A sailing adventure that is sure to inspire you. Small groups, minimum of two to sail or parties up to 12.

History

Established in 2010.

Adventure, wildlife, sun, salt, blue green water, fresh air and good company.

Because of our great location in front of the Crows Nest Restaurant, we are just a few minutes to all sails up upon leaving the dock. Our standard sail is for two hours starting by reservation.

Captain Dove is a USCG 100 ton Master Captain, She has the experience and the skill to insure a safe trip.

My sister, cousins and I were down visiting family in Venice and we decided to try the sunset cruise. We had unseasonably chilly weather and still had THE BEST time! (Given the weather, they offered to let us cancel at the last minute, which was unbelievably nice and unexpected.) Captain Dove and Tim kept us warm with lots of blankets and served up drinks, food and freshly baked cookies! They could not have been greater people and helped us make the absolute most out of the less than perfect weather. We even got to see dolphins! Can not wait to come back and go again!

Excellent morning sailing with Dove and Tim. They are wonderful people who cater to your enjoyment and do whatever they can to help you have wonderful experience. Very friendly, gracious hosts who understand sailing and want you to learn and enjoy the experience. Had a great trip and they let us do as much hands on as we wanted. Could not ask for a better time and more caring guides who took excellent care of us! Would recommend to anyone who wants a chance to sail and enjoy the ocean.

The amount of fun I had while on the sailboat «inspiration» is indescribable. My family had signed up for a sunset tour along with the crew of sail venice. What proceeded was a non stop pleasure of smooth sailing. The experienced captain and first mate did everything and more to insure a positive experience. My wife became sea sick and without skipping a beat the captain presented dozens of remedies including ginger ale. My kids would not stop smiling though the entire journey. I would HIGHLY recommend Sail Venice as a wonderful adventure.

Great day sailing — beautiful weather and the Captain and First Mate were very pleasant and hospitable. Conversation was easy and up to guests to engage or not. The boat is well appointed and comfortable — enjoyed dipping out toes in the water.

The best thing we have done on our vacation to Venice, Florida is going on Sail Venice’s Sunset Cruise. We had the very best time. The Captain and her husband were the greatest hosts. They are friendly, interesting and a lot of fun. They even provided us snacks for the trip. They are very informative and let anyone who wanted to, take a try at the helm. The cruise was amazing, we saw a beautiful sunset, and had a fabulous time. I highly recommend Sail Venice! We hope to sail with them again some day. 5+ Stars…

Spur of the moment idea on one of our last days on vacation. we found sailvenice on here read the reviews and called the owner Tim up at 730 am he was up and friendly ! Suggested we went early to avoid rain and said we could do 930 incase we couldn’t make the normal 9 o’clock departure. Him and his wife captain dove were so friendly served cold drinks and had yummy snacks. The boat inspiration was amazing! The trip was 2 hrs and so relaxing I was able to move around and feel the waves and the wind! It was fantastic! I DEF RECOMMEND THIS EXPERIENCE

My husband and I recently sailed with Sailvenice. The owners were such a wonderful couple, very knowledgeable and fun! Had a great time. Loved the snacks, Dolphins, sunset and chance to sail the boat. Reasonable price. Great pictures on Facebook put up quickly after the trip. Thanks for a fun experience. Went on a cruise for my birthday and had a wonderful time. The captain and her husband were awsome and truly pampered us. We will be taking many trips with them.
