History
Established in 2004.
There comes a point in many people’s lives where climbing the ladder and chasing the dollar is no longer as important as making a positive difference in the world and especially in the lives of young people. The owner’s of Reach Professional In-Home Tutoring both are cancer survivors and realized over 10 years ago that life is a gift and that it was time to start giving back. They wanted to create an opportunity for themselves and other educators and marketing specialists to realize the dream of helping students achieve their goals, boost their confidence and enjoy learning. Out of this desire, Reach Professional In-Home Tutoring was born and has had a proven track record of success in improving student’s grades through private individual tutoring using credentialed professionals.

Manager
West Los Angeles/South Bay Regional Director, Dometrius McClain, joins REACH with over 20 years of experience in education with the Los Angeles Unified School District. Her interest in education began as a sophomore in college while tutoring a younger cousin. After noticing the power one can have to positively impact a child’s confidence and preparedness, she knew that she wanted to make a difference through teaching. Dometrius received her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Redlands and completed course work for her teaching credential at Cal Poly, Pomona. Dometrius began her career as a business education instructor, bringing real world experiences to the classroom. She was instrumental in integrating academic education in numerous CTE programs and helped establish a curriculum that brought technology into a reading and math program for underachieving high school students.
