My name is Elijah Dittersdorf. I’m a tech lover & a retired geriatric Licensed Massage Therapist. After spending 20+ years in the field I now help seniors and extra needs adults to improve their basic daily computer skills.

At Mom’s Computer we provide a gentle option. Mom, Dad & extra needs siblings will have the same person, with the same primary language, & no more re-​explaining the issues with a new operator.

Our references are local; physicians, clients, & retirement communities. Whether you’re here here or even if you’re abroad contact us at Mom’s Computer to get your folks on a tech communication schedule for the sheer joy of it. Elijah is amazing. He picked up my call immediately (already amazing) & spent a lot of time with me on the phone. He next researched my issue & texted me a solution. He said he didn’t want to waste my money having him come to my home if I could do an easy fix myself. Sure enough! I resolved the issue & spent no money. I am very grateful & will refer him to everyone. He’s the best!

The best! Elijah is patient, knowledgeable, clear, complete, professional… and, did I say patient. I believe most of us non-​techs limp along with our computer problems in large part because we don’t wish to be overwhelmed with jargon or talked down to by an impatient know-​it-​all. Elijah strikes the right chord by listening to ascertain the outcome you wish, then by proposing and explaining a solution. No surprises, just kind-​hearted efficiency. I was experiencing multiple problems with a particular health related website, as well as a number of other irritating issues relating to my browser and hook-​up in general. He walked me through the process while performing the necessary adjustments, and leaving me with a new sense of competence regarding my computer. You just can’t beat that.

Great find and so personal. I’m having a great experience with Elijah. He’s been so helpful to my elderly friend. He basically taught her how to turn on a iPad… and within a few visits and calls she now is in total use of all the apps. She’s on Facebook, goes on web and searches different things, sends texts, FaceTime and everything. He really had some great patience and knowledge. Great help! Will totally recommend.

I found Mom’s Computer a couple of weeks ago to help my 87 year old aunt transition to a new computer. From the start, I found Elijah to be personable, helpful and clear in his communications both with myself and with my aunt. He has such a large skill set that allows him to interface with technology and all ages of people to be able to provide wonderful support and education. He went above and beyond in his services by checking in on my aunt regularly and providing continued (and very patient) instruction on how to access her new computer. After two weeks with his help, my aunt can now navigate through her computer daily and has all the written prompts she needs to help her remember important passwords and navigation tips.
I highly recommend Mom’s Computer and Elijah for all your computer needs. Even if it seems like a big job, he’ll figure it out and be able to explain it in simple, understandable terms. He kept me in the loop the entire time and I feel comfortable with his care and assistance of my aunt even when I’m not able to be present.
