I cannot share a review about the actual massage service since I had an appointment at 2 and whilst on my way got a call at 1:45 that they had taken a walk in instead since I was late. I would not be writing this review if they were even a tad bit apologetic, but they insisted that my appointment was for 1:40 and we aimlessly argued over this point for a minute or so. It would have been nice and appropriate for them to call me to inquire about my arrival before taking a walk in instead of calling me afterward with a bad attitude.

Like others, we got the Groupon. What a mistake. The service was horrible. Massage wasn’t good, and she burned my back with the hot stones. Seriously, I had blisters the next day. Also, they perform some sort of stretching on your body as part of the massage. What the hell is that all about? If I wanted to get stretched out, I’d go to a yoga class. I paid for a massage, not physical therapy. Steer clear of this place unless you like having your legs folded up over your head.

Bought a groupon for 2 hot stone massages for 69 dollars. First one was great. Came Back 3 months later for 2^nd and got undressed on the table and then was told I needed to pay an extra 20 dollars because my promotion expired. I asked for the regular massage as a compromise and they refused. I asked for a gc for half the value and they refused. As a paying customer I was annoyed with the upselling at this point and just started writing my review. I’ll walk a block to the next place and never look back. Hopefully #groupon steps up.

My wife and I just used our Groupon. I loved it, my wife not so much
I asked for Thai massage and told her I wanted it hard (she asked me when we started). I got what I asked for, right at the point of pain, which is exactly what I wanted. I love Thai massage with elbows that dig into you and when they walk on you, all that stuff. I really liked mine. The stones were a nice touch too, haven’t had that before. This place is minimalist but clean and safe. You pay for the massage, not for the tea and music.
My wife got a swedish and thought there was too much oil (like some other reviews here). I guess the lesson here is go if you like deep thai massage and don’t need the froofy spa ambiance.

Nice little massage spot… was not amazing… but hey we walked right in, i was sandy from the beach, the lady did kind of bruise me with her super grinding on my shoulder blade, and the walls are so thin i could hear every damn thing. Not the most relaxing… but good price and ease of use… I didn’t realize that my sister was right next to me, until i could not only hear her, but see her through the slightly open accordian doors… This would have been really awkward had it NOT been my sister. I guess I would go back if I was in a time crunch and near the beach…

I think this is the second review I’ve ever written and hey, I feel compelled to write one when I’m REALLY happy so, here we go.
I bought a groupon for 2 hot stone massages and my first appointment was set-​up with Nikki. I was brought into the massage room and immediately thought, «wow-​how cute! and clean!»
You see, I’ve been getting massages since I can remember and for the last 5+ years I’ve been a hairstylist always standing on my feet and lifting my arms, resulting in tense and achy shoulders and sore legs and feet. I try to get a massage every 1 – 2 weeks to release any knots and to do something good for myself :) Anyways… back to the review!
I saw Nikki and the first thing she asked me is there any particular place I feel the most tension, and how do I like the pressure? I told her that I definitely like pressure, the more the better, I can take it and that I feel the most tension in my neck and shoulders. I didn’t really mention my legs and feet cause I figured, «Hey its just a groupon its probably not even like that, so lets just go with it.»
Shame on me cause she not only massaged my neck and shoulders with the perfect amount of pressure that I’ve been searching for but, she gave me the best foot and leg massage of my life!
Since I had bought 2 massages from groupon I made my second appointment with Nikki for two weeks later and loved it! I already made a third appointment for another and you know how hard it is to find anyone that «just gets it»? Well, I’ve found my nail lady, my spray tan lady — can’t find time to lay out and get a tan… I work inside all day! ;) and now I’m happy to say I found my masseuse! Finally! :)

What a bummer! I to bought a $ 35 Groupon and saved it for my B-​Day. I took the day off to pamper myself and was sadly disappointed.
I informed my masseuse that I only wanted her to go easy on my low back and of my Groupon choices I would like the Hot Stone Swedish massage. She put enough oil on me to deep fry me 4 times over! The massage was ultra light and I asked for some more pressure but I did not feel it. Maybe with all the oil she just slid right off me??? I was okay with the oil as it does wash off and frankly I did need some moisturizing but I wanted to feel relaxed and I kept waiting for that feeling but never got it.
The heat from hot stones felt nice but here is the reason for 2 stars… ready… ok, here we go…
When she flipped me over there were no hot stones and the oil was cool. So what? The front of me doesn’t get the same treatment? It was cool verging on cold. NO JOKE! Thankfully not much time was spent on my front but now to my head. She did this thing to the top of my head with so much pressure that it actually hurt. WELL NOW I GET THE PRESSURE. We save it all up for the tip top of my brain — ouch! I was very happy it was over.
Feeling like she did spend the time, I tipped 20% on the Groupon price as I didn’t know (remember) the regular price. I was going to leave $ 10 and my hands just couldn’t do it. Now thinking back I wish I hadn’t tipped at all. Just typing that feeling of the treatment to my head is giving me a headache again.
Very bummed :(

For the $ 35 Groupon I used, I guess I shouldn’t complain too much. It included hot stones. That was nice. Otherwise, the motions of the massage were too fast, too aggressive. I don’t feel good after being dug into and beat for an hour. My shoulders hurt worse. My low back has pain that wasn’t there. I wouldn’t go back here. And I even booked with Jenny, who has great reviews here on Unilocal.She just didn’t seem that skilled and that is dangerous when doing deep tissue massage. Not sure why this place has all 5 star ratings. Makes me wonder if they are real. There is no way that the massage I received today could be the best massage someone has ever received, as stated by another reviewer. The facility is clean and looks nice enough. Go at your own risk.

Jenny is the real deal. Classically trained in Chang Mai and it shows. Excellent technique great massage. I will be back. Try the hot stone it’s great.

The place is very clean and their customer service is great. They are very friendly, professional and helpful! The massage was amazing!

I purchased a hot stone massage special from Groupon and did not get my hopes up just in case.
I was so pleasantly surprised by the skill level and technique of Jenny. She gave me the best massage I have ever had. It was kind of like a massage, chiropractor visit, yoga lesson in one. The room was lit softly with great warm colors and makes you feel at ease.
I highly recommend this place for the both the value and the quality.

I had a really great time there! The woman’s name was Tida. She really worked me over. I had some back pain radiating down into my leg & when she was finished I was not aware of it. It was very relaxing in the booth, soft light, peripheral music. She worked very hard. I’m 6 feet 5 ins & she was about 5 ft but she wrestled me every which way. A full hour for $ 45. Before 2pm I think it was 40.

I get massaged here regularly. The spa is very clean with a spartan, minimalist décor. The spa has individual rooms for each client (not curtained sections like other places). The staff is very friendly and helpful, but more importantly, their technical skills are excellent. The back walking is a good alternative or complement to chiropractics. If you want a real treat, ask for a scalp massage — that really melts away tension.
The best way to enter the parking is from the small side street behind the spa, one block east of Lincoln.
I strongly recommend this spa.

My wife and I went to I sabai Thai Spa for the couples message special. This was a wonderful experience. The Spa is extremely clean. The therpist are professial and offer a good range of massage techniques. My wife and I both had the hot stone massage, I would highly recomend it. We will be going back to I Sabai for sure.
