History
Established in 1996.
In October 1977 long time islanders Al and Laura Snyder opened Vashon Ace Hardware. The original store encompassed about 4,000 square feet of the space within the current building. Over the years additions and remodels have increased the size of the store to the current space of approximately 10,000 square feet. The Ace Hardware Service Center was purchased in 1996 and it adds another 4,000 square feet of Outdoor Power Equipment and Rental items.
In October of 2001 Doug Snyder and John Yates purchased the business from AI and Laura.

Kevin L.
Manager
Kevin is the proud manager of Vashon Ace Hardware. He loves coming into the store every day and enjoys the amazing owners and employees of Vashon Ace Hardware. He is involved in the Vashon community and lends his voice as a commentator on the Voice of Vashon, giving the play-by-play during Vashon High School sporting events.
