Uptown Fingers and Toes

I have had work done with all the nail technicians here, Dawn, Rachel, and Karen. I have been pleased with the work. My nail is split and needs gel so that it does not catch on things and bends (pain). They do not use an electric file but use all hand tools. The place is clean and they sterilize the foot baths. Going to see Karen tomorrow for a mani-​pedi.

I haven’t even received any services here yet. I have called THREE TIMES during business hours, and always get a recording. I have left a message each time, but have never received a call back. I went by the shop during business hours once, but it was closed with no sign explaining why, or saying when it would be open again. I have given up – it seems clear that this business is not eager for my patronage!

I made an appt a week ago for a mani-​pedi. I specifically asked the person on the phone who I would be seeing. They said they would set me up with someone when I came in. Ummm, ok, not something I am used to for a long appt like that. So I went in and there was only ONE person in there and she was already with someone. SHE asked me who I had the appt with. Oh! The person who made my appointment didn’t tell the people who work there that there is an appointment made? HOW LOVELY. «I can get to you in about an hour. Let me see if I can call someone else in. I don’t know who else is coming in.» NO. That is horribly unprofessional and I will never go back there again. I don’t give a crap that someone had a car accident. You make a goddamned appointment correctly.

It’s just become one of my favorite places!!! If you have an occasion and you want your nails to look good, this lady will do the job for you! Thank you!

I’ve been going to Dawn of and on for years she is such an amazing person so sweet and so kind and does such a great job. Today she gave me the clause of my dreams and I’m so happy with them. I can’t wait to see her next time!

I came in with sad feet and left with happy feet.
Dawn was fun and attentive. Being a guy, going into a nail salon for his first pedicure can be uncomfortable. I got a great pedicure and had a few laughs with the lovely clientele. Great vibes in Uptown Vancouver is happening right here inside Uptown Fingers and Toes. The best, I will be back soon.

Without a doubt, this was the best pedicure experience I have ever had. My friend and I walked in, and Dawn and Rachel were able to squeeze us in right away. In addition to an awesome pedicure, we were able to truly relax, laugh, and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

Worst manicure ever. Technician was on the phone discussing personal business and did not pay attention to the polish she was applying. Had to redo one nail during appointment. Next morning polish came off another nail. Will have to go to another salon to get an acceptable manicure. Read good reviews on this salon in past and really wanted to support an independent business owner. But I cannot recommend after my experience.

I walked in without an appointment and dawn made time for me before her next. She took a picture I found off of Pinterest and made my nails absolutely beautiful! It’s a great place to get your nails done. Great prices and great people!

I just moved to the area and my nails were looking pretty scruffy so I took a stroll downtown & found Dawn at Uptown. She’s super fun and it’s obvious that she loves what she does. If you’re looking for an assembly line mani pedi, you’re out of luck. You’ll get personalized service in a super cute shop here.

I give Dawn’s warm and friendly personality and her beautiful shop 5 stars. I also give Rachael 5 stars for my leg and foot massage. My daughter and I arrived for our appointment. Both ladies were with other clients and we were greeted when we came in. We were a bit early. We were offered something to drink and snacks. Dawn gave us the choice between three different foot bath scents. The water was nice and hot and smelled good. Unfortunately, I felt Rachael rushed through my pedi. The heels of my feet could’ve used more filing, they’re still kind of rough. :(She did a good job with the polish and my leg massage was great. I lost her completely when her other client came. I think I was squeezed in, it certainly felt that way. Dawn worked on my daughter’s feet. It seems as though she got preoccupied chatting with us so my daughter only got one leg massaged and her pedi was ok. It wasn’t the relaxing and pampering experience we were hoping for. More of a basic pedi but we were charged the luxury pedi price. I tipped them both, more out of habit than appreciation. Dawn is a very lovely person and I wish her all the best. Maybe it was an off day.

Karen is AMAZING! Love my new fingers! I am new to the Vancouver area, found this little gem, and in not going anywhere else to get my nails done! Very friendly and inviting!

I love Dawn! She was really nice and helpful. She did a really good job on my nails. I was quite a bridezilla since my flowers delivery got messed up. But there she was, really calming and pretty much got me calmed down. And I loved the nails! And thank you so much for the tamales! ;)

I live in the Seattle area for but was in town to be in a friends wedding. I looked on Unilocal to find a good salon and Dawn had all perfect reviews. I decided I would have her do my nails for the wedding. She has a cute comfortable salon and she was very sweet! I really enjoyed getting to know her while I was there. She did a great job. I did not feel rushed at all. Her prices are affordable for the service that you get. If I am in Vancouver again and looking to get my nails done, I will definitely go back to her. I definitely recommend this salon.

Very fun shop! Dawn always provides a beautiful mani and pedi at a reasonable price. Plus she is just a lot of fun! I would recommend this nail salon to anyone looking for a wonderful nail job at a great price.

Best hidden gem! Dawn is a detail-​oriented professional who takes her time to give you what you want and to make you feel gorgeous. On my first visit she was so open and friendly and I felt like I was sitting with an old friend! The salon is clean, stylish and cozy, a perfect place to get away and relax. If you want a place to get fantastic nail work done AND make a new friend who listens and cares, go see Dawn! It’s obvious that all her clients/​business people around her adore her, and she thinks the world of them! Support a local business and a woman who makes a difference in the lives of everyone who walks through her doors.

Although I would love to get MY nails done in this comfortable environment, as a full time Janitor, my buddies would never let me live it down. So I did the next best thing and got an appointment for my wife.
Dawn is a very nice person who can talk to anyone and make them feel like an old friend, and the nails looked good too!
