Came in with teal splotchy hair with black roots and golden ends (It looked terrible) and was wanting to go blonde so my hair could match my extensions. For anyone that doesn’t know, greens and blues are the hardest colors to strip from hair and it’s extremely hard to tone. Liz had absolutely no problem doing so and everyone at the salon was shocked! And my hair was BARLEY damaged. All I needed was a trim, but I needed one before I came in anyways. If Liz can turn your green hair platinum blonde, she can do ANYTHING!!! Me as well as my VERY picky boyfriend won’t go to anyone else but her. She’s great!
Also, the products they use are vegan and cruelty free which is a huge plus for me.

Hannah has been my go to stylist for two years now and she has been great at helping me maintain healthy stylish hair and correcting my box dye mistake. Not only is she easy to talk to but she listens to what you really want and is informative about issues that may arise with certain colors or cuts (why I’m not a redhead with bangs currently). I love this place, everyone is helpful from the moment you walk in to when you walk out. I highly recommend it!

Carmen is an exceptional hair stylist. I am so blessed to have found her. She does an amazing job on my hair everytime and it always turns out perfect! I have sent two of my family members to her to get their hair done by her and I continue to tell people about this amazing salon. The staff is super friendly and fun. I have worked in the beauty industry nearly 10 years starting out as a MUA in NYC. I found my way back to the west cost a doing hair full time with education in salons and travel but using Portland as my base. So with that little back ground I stumbled across this space through a referral from another hair friend. First of I was surprised to know 3 of the girls who work there Liz Shea and Nicky all who have been in the area and have a amazing reputations in the local hair scene. They do because the are amazing stylist. I have seen or have had the pleasure of them styling my hair or quick bang trim over the years some service at some point. All times they were great. As to the other stylist I’m not sure but in my experience if an owner has 3 stylist with wonderful reputations and great skills she probably has a good eye for employing a very talented staff. So as time has gone on I now use this spot for my tanning needs. It’s quick it’s clean and friendly. Every time I’m in there I’m greeted with smiles and bubbly personalities. Not something i always see walking into as many salons as I do. It’s refreshing to see a full staff happy and stoked to be at work and hang out with their coworkers when the last client leaves. But the nitty gritty I have been seeing Julie for a while for her tanning magic. She is very educated on airbrush tanning and the product she uses. I go about once a week and refer people constantly when I tell them it’s a spray tan. It’s the best color never smells and granted I look leaving another ethnicity per my request it always fads and looks amazing. Best part she takes the time to lotion my hands and feet to make sure I don’t leave with orange palms. She’s very detailed which I appreciated. She again is a super friendly says crickets instead of darn she is an awesome person to be around and considering you have to be naked during the service while she sprays your perfect tan on. The décor is adorable which i have watched morph into something more glamours and cute with chandlers and white leather seating it’s clear they take pride in the space. I walk into so many salons and this little place is a gem in Vancouver clean tidy friendly great services offered I think in all the have tanning, facials, eyelash extensions and many hair stylist. It’s worth a look and it’s all reasonably priced.

Saw the great Unilocal reviews on the lady who does the eyelash extensions so decided to try her. What a fabulous experience! Her work is just beautiful and looks so natural. It also doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a caterpillar on your eyes! Try her. You won’t be sorry and will be raking in the compliments!

I have been seeing Kimberly Minor for my waxing and special event needs, like hair and makeup for around 3 years now. She is awesome! She has a great personality and is very professional and makes me feel really at ease when it comes to my Brazilian waxes. I have had her do my hair and makeup for special parties, or valentines day when I want to feel like hollywood glamour. I drive from Beaverton to Vancouver to see Kimberly and it’s worth it! When you find someone who rocks, don’t let them go!

Being new to vancouver i didn’t know where to start for all my beauty needs. Lucky, I stumbled upon Sunrise Salon and Spa. They offer everything: facials, eyelash extensions, waxing, massages, tanning and hair services. It is the perfect one stop shop! All there staff is professional and knowledgable. The spa consultant helped me create a spa package to accommodate all my needs. I send all my friends here. Its tucked away right behind The Spot and in the same shopping center as the 24hr fitness on Andersen. A real hidden gem! And how convenient that you can do you gym and spa services and not even have to repark your car?! I highly recommend if you are in need of a service you go here!

Love this place! Has hair, nails, waxing, facials and tanning! The owner is awesome and really knows what she is doing! And for facials, I recommend Kim! You guys rock!
