Salmon Creek Family Dental

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Nelson for a little over a year now. He has been great with all of us, including our 2 kids. The staff is great and Dr. Nelson is always great at explaining treatment options and costs.

I have been coming to Salmon Creek Family Dental for four years now. They were recommended to me by my mother in-​law at the time. Just like what was stated in the first review, I have always been pretty tense when it comes to being in the dental chair. With SCFD, I can honestly say that has subsided a great deal. I no longer grip the chair as if I am in a car with some joker driving into on-​coming traffic. I really like the fact that if I ask Doc Nelson, Jenn, Trang or Heidi a question, I get straight answers with options and reasons why something will or won’t work.
I also like the fact that they take care to put you at ease. I have discussions with Jenn & Trang about life stuff, mine and theirs and other hap’s out there in the world. They are, to me, the laid back, chill conversation, wine sippin’ peeps. Heidi is the clean up hitter! She gets the sports reference because that is what we do, talk sports. The only thing missing from our conversations are the wings and brews Baby! They all represents with the knowledge and skil of their chosen craft.
When you enter SCFD, you will be greeted by Gina or Leslie. Both are very professional and have customer service down to the «T». & that is either on the phone or in person.
Doc Nelson is always cordial and is a real pro! If you having any type of dental work done, he explains the procedure in detail and will give you his recommendation. However, «you» have the final say so. If there is a new procedure out, he will give you «who’s who and what is what» regarding it.
I have to give these good folk a 5 ’cause I really have not experienced anything less when I have gone in to see them. If you are looking for a dental practice, Salmon Creek Family Dental gets a high recommendation from me :) Cool Legumes & Sweet «T“eeth!

I think what I really appreciated about this place was that the dentist is straight forward. I have not been to the dentist in YEARS and after looking in my mouth an x-​rays, the doc let me know what was a must, what was «next time,» and then what we will keep an eye on.
The office is very nice, the staff is «calming» (which is awesome because I don’t like going to the dentist), and they have the latest x-​ray machines. They even had this one x-​ray that goes completely around your head. Crazy! No more films, the x-​rays go right into their computer, and they have a pen that takes pictures inside your mouth so they can show you what they are talking about and you don’t just have to guess what the dentist is talking about while looking at x-​rays. Maybe all this has been around for a bit, but again, it’s been YEARS since I went.
I gave them 4 stars because I am a fan. I have an appointment in the next week for a scaling. Let’s see how they do. Can they earn one more star. ;)
