Great food, great staff. Good service. However, they don’t provide a plate or anything, so inevitably you drop food all over the table. Their napkins are about as durable as cheap toilet paper, which really sucks because you can’t even use them for the plate that they don’t provide. I really wish they provided better napkins(it can’t be that hard, everyone else does it!) or a paper plate.

Pita Pit is always good! This specific location boasts fast service, clean counter tops, fresh ingredients, and plump pitas! The customer service wasn’t the bubbliest but extremely competent. Overall good experience.

It’s a standard fast casual chain, so I don’t really expect *too* much from Pita Pit. I do appreciate that they have vegan pita and vegan falafel(though the falafel is fairly flavorless). They did ask if I wanted my falafel cooked on the griddle with the meat or in the microwave, which I appreciate as I’m vegan. I’ll just get the hummus pita next time. It isn’t a super spendy place but you also probably won’t feel full for long. Nice workers.

Found a hair in my food. Staff seemed confused and scatter brained and the food was meh. Now I remember why I haven’t been here in years.

The reason Pita Pit gets such a good review from me is because, I don’t expect a lot from chain corporations. It was clean, employee’s were friendly and my pita tasted like heaven. Good enough for me!

Pita Pit, OFALL restaurants, is only 1 of 2 decent delivery places(the other being Pacific Paradise Cuisine, review to come later) that I have experienced in east Vancouver. Roomie and I ordered a chicken souvlaki and a falafel, both fork style, through their online ordering system. We customized both to our liking and clicked«proceed». Our order arrived within about 30 minutes. The salads were actually better than what we expected(and the tzatztiki was even on the side, yay). The chicken in my salad was perfectly seasoned and tender, and the falafel in the boyfriend’s salad was nice and crunchy. After a long weekday, it hit the spot, and we were happy. Good food, quick enough delivery, and inexpensive!

When my friend and I arrived the whole place was empty and only one to go order was leaving. We found there only to be two people working here, one cooking the other putting things together and handling money and such. For being my first time here I found this place to be a comparison between how some people see a difference between Mexican food and Tex-Mex food. This place is the«Tex-Mex» of Greek cuisine. They also have a few pitas for the vegetarians out there. The food was fresh and tasted better than I thought it would be. The restaurant looked to be pretty clean and well kept. I’m up in the air as to if I check this place out again.

If I could review the food and drinks separately I would, unfortunately that’s not an option. The food is a solid four stars, good selection of meats and tasty veggies and a ton of sauces to pour on top. Service has always been great as well. The only negative I can find is with the drinks… I don’t know if it’s the water they use or the amount of syrup but their Coke is TERRIBLE. I’ve forgotten and ordered a drink a few times and every time it’s just awful. Strangely the Powerade or whatever their sports drink of choice is, isn’t quite so bad.

Always impressed when I go to this PP location. Always place my order online to pick up and it’s always ready on time. Delish and always a healthy treat that I can enjoy. Guaranteed!

The Pita Pit makes tasty pitas. Try the chicken souvlaki with tzaziki and feta cheese. YUM. This location is on par with the rest of the chain meaning that they don’t move very quickly. I went in here on a Friday afternoon and it took about 20 minutes to get my pita. However, the pita was well worth the wait and the Miss Vickie’s salt and vinegar chips are the perfect compliment. The people are also pretty friendly too which is a plus. If you are on a time constraint i.e. lunch hour… do not stop here… you will waste much of your time just waiting in line and not enough time to eat.

I love this place! Much better than a sub anyday! I love that you can have your veggies grilled, My favorite is the Chicken Crave.

Subway but in a pita! A bit confusing if you choose a «pre-set» item — they still ask you what you want on it… And they also ask what sauce you want. Would be easier if they make it as displayed then ask you if you want extra — you can create a nasty mess if you pick wrong! Lots of choices and options to make good choices! Connected to a yogurt place. Also has one of the fancy coke machines where you can create your own beverage!

I have found that this Pita Pit isn’t very consistent when it comes to the food. More recently it’s been not so great in my opinion but we have had experiences where our pitas were quite tasty. Again… just not consistent. Plus: yummy hummus, delivery, generally nice employees Minus: pita bread is often dry, customer service is sometimes slow, when ordering delivery things get forgotten.

Service was very slow and chaotic. The staff completely ignored the customers when they came in. I was about to walk out after waiting 10 minutes for 4 employees to make one order. I ordered the gyro(which every employee pronounces«guy-row») and the pita was dry and stale. I felt like I was eating a salad wrap. The 3 thin slices of meat were hard to distinguish hidden within what seemed to be 4 lbs of lettuce. My small bag of chips were stale as well. Not that I blame Pita Pit for stale Doritos, but you should be able to get something better than a small bag of chips if you’re spending almost $ 8 for a lettuce burrito.

Ok, I have sentimental feelings towards Pita Pit having consumed it with friends most of the time we got really drunk in college. Also, alot of them deliver, which makes it all the more amazing in my book. The chicken ceasar wrap is great as well as the tuna wrap. They are huge and I can’t always finish them, but they are fresh and delicious and depending on what toppings you choose fairly healthy. Definitely worth a try drunk or sober

The food is great, and they partner with local businesses for employee discounts! All the nutrition information is posted on the wall and the employees are super friendly. Only problem is that the restaurant can get really crowded at lunch between people waiting to pay and waiting to build their pita. If there was some way to do a circular layout it could help, but they’d need a wider building. Regardless, I could eat here every day, and sometimes I do! This location is off SE164th, by Tech Center behind On the Border. It’s NOT west of I-5 like the Unilocal map is indicating on my android app. Back when this place first opened, my coworkers and I were frustrated by the confusion with getting hummus and babaganoush, and there being an extra charge for it. I emailed corporate about the situation leaving a bad taste in my mouth, and Dennis, the owner of this location, called me the next day to explain the situation and ask me what I thought would be a good solution. This just floored me — how personable and just straight up honest he was with it being a new restaurant and what to do when people want something that costs extra while building the pita without having paid for it earlier… they now just ask at the time of order if you want anything that costs extra, and this works perfect. Bottom line: go here! Excellent alternative to Subway/Quiznos, very healthy and very filling! My favorite is a Chicken Souvlaki on wheat with romaine, spinach, pickles, sprouts, and BBQ sauce.

Pita pit is good for a quick meal that is different than Subway but still not deep fried. I like that they have smaller pitas now for children; sadly, they don’t get ordered much and the pitas are pretty dry(at least the two times my boys got them). I like the ordering style of getting to put what«you» want on them. Service is hit and miss — we have had GREAT service and we have had the«can’t be bothered» service. Thankfully, so far the food has compensated for any service shortcomings — probably because we have had such good service at times we know that it is not the rule but the exception.

Dennis & Laura opened this location a few months ago and it’s been hopping ever since. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the food just can’t be beat. When I was in I tried their local which I think at the time was an Ancho Chipotle & Ranch combination that was delicious. Running down the experience: you start on the right end of the counter where you place your order and they get you your beverage, chips, and cookies. At that point you move down the line where one of the pit crew will start preparing your pita while the hot stuff grills behind them. You choose your lettuce type(if any), your veggies, and then the largest selection of sauces I’ve ever seen including tzatziki! It’s a lot of food for not a lot of money, and if you have a chance you have to try their smores cookies. If you get in around opening time you can get them fresh but any time of day they’re pretty darn awesome.
