Warning, if they give you a estimate get it in writing.
When I brought my car in I got my estimate then set
an appointment to bring my car in a week later.
I show up the date planned, tell them who I am, what the problem is and the guy tells me they will
look at it and give me an estimate. I think that’s weird but ok-​I wonder why he doesn’t check his computer to see I have an appt. Then not to my surprise he wants to charge me $ 70.00 bucks more. I told him I was given an estimate already for less to go check his computer.
They supposedly didn’t set an appt for me. To make matters worse one of the guys who did the original estimate was there and plays dumb and said some other guy made a mistake or something. I did pay the extra 70 bucks feeling like I had been screwed over by another shop. The only positive was they were fast and kept a nice shop.

Don’t ever try to get warranty work done here because you will mysteriously disappear from their computer system!
Promised phone calls that you never get when trying to get them to find you in their system. They just ignore you! They already have your money so they don’t care one bit.
Don’t ever lose or misplace your receipt because without it, well you don’t exist!

We had our catalytic just over a year and it already is on its last leg, it seems like when you pay a significant amount of money a part should last longer or at least some with a flippin warranty. we are having to replace it yet AGAIN but no at Hazel Dell, we are choosing another shop this time

My wife found out about these guys from four other people who recommended their services. We were told by someone else that this was going to be a seven hundred dollar fix on our muffler but they ended up doing it for much cheaper and much quicker than we had anticipated We now use these guys for everything. Amazing service, amazing people.

Tim was pretty rude today. I took my steering wheel in to have 3 points welded and was quoted $ 25, which is about the price of a replacement on Ebay. I informed them that the price was the same as one on Ebay and that I was looking to save a few $$ and he responded «I don’t have to do it for you». Wow…“great customer service right??” He let me know that I wasn’t valued as a potential customer and that he could care less about the $ 25 or future work that I could have had done. Not to mention, the people that I could refer to him. This is a prime example of poor customer service and I will never visit this shop or refer anyone!

What a truly awesome experience! Took my sons Infinity G35 to HDM to get some new mufflers put on to make it sound more like a teenager car. After getting the Magna Flow mufflers put on, it wasn’t what he was expecting so we called them up to see what we could do. (It’s not like we could return it). The nice man on the phone came up with some solutions to get my son what he wanted and asked us to bring the car back down so they could do the work. He said «they want us to be a customer for life, not just this one time» so they were willing to do what they could to make us happy. After my son picked up his car today, if he knew how to do a backflip, he would have done 3! Thank you to all the crew at Hazel Dell Mufflers, you made my son very happy!

Been coming here ever since I started driving. 16 years ago on a tip from my neighbor. Always professional and timely service. No games or funny business. Fair and honest pricing. Just used them again today to swap out two bad cats on my old truck and felt compelled to write this review. Good places like this need to be praised. Thanks again guys!

We had an AMAZING experience at Hazel Dell Muffler Shop! Called them at 11AM to get a «leaking gasket» fixed, or so we thought. Had been getting the run around from another mechanic in Vanc. that’d held our car hostage for 3 DAYS!!! and misdiagnosed the cause of our check engine light. Once we took it to HDM, though, we found out that it wasn’t a leaking gasket in the exhaust, it was actually the catalytic converter. We dropped it off at 1PM and there were three cars ahead of us, they called us a 345 to pick it up! CRAZY FAST! They did awesome work, didn’t harass of upsell, let us know exactly what was what, explained everything, and did their job quickly and SUPER efficiently! We were so incredibly happy. If we weren’t about to move cross-​country, we would be regular customers! Love Hazel Dell Muffler!!!

Review a muffler shop? Sure, why not!
My poor, old truck’s muffler finally rusted through. Had called Les Schwab (they have my trust) and since they don’t do mufflers, they recommended HD Muffler.
I called for a quote. Then just stopped in a week later to make an appt for the next day and asked for a quote. Same price. Always a good sign.
When in next day at scheduled time, guy put the truck up on the rack and said it would be about a half hour. It was 34 minutes, dammit! lol
Anyway, solid outfit, no monkeying around, no trying to upsell me. Just did their thing, told me about their 2 year warranty, and I was on my way.
Can’t ask for more than that.
