I love my local Fred Meyer! I go there once a day! But today I am going to Safeway! Fred Meyer in orchards has a new manager that likes to say «good morning» no matter what time of day it is! When you r shopping and here that when it is dark outside and nighttime it is more than annoying! He’s new to the store but I spend way to much money to hear management just saying good morning all day to be a jerk!!! So when Freddy’s can get your new good morning guy to stop saying that to every customer day or night I will start spending my$$ there again! He’s short with glasses! Annoying!

The **pharmacy** staff at this location are WONDERFUL and consistently patient, kind and helpful. The store is smaller than some, but they have a new gas station and an improved south parking lot.

One of the worst Fred Meyer I’ve ever been to. The associates are very rude, besides patty kuzma. The management needs to step up to the plat and do there job and this is not just for this Fred Meyer but all of them. I would rather shop at Walmart a and spend my hard earned money. Where I would save money anyways.

Worst Fred Meyer I visited in Vancouver, WA. All of your aisle are overloaded with different products so if you blink you miss what you are looking for and they are too narrow. The very worst is that there is no access to 78^th St so you have to use Hwy 99 and do a U turn. I think I found the ghetto grocery store in Vancouver, it needs a serious remodeling and your parking lot needs to be redesign for easier parking and access in and out of the store.

Went here after being disappointed at Winco looking for a Prime Rib for Easter dinner. Great selection great product. I may forgo Winco in the future.

Went to pharmacy to fill a prescription when I was very sick I was told that it would be 45 minute wait when I went back I was told to wait another 20 minutes finally I went back and they were OUT of my product (he literally looked behind him on a shelf it took him five seconds) so I waited an hour with a toddler while I was sick for no reason you guys are horrible

They did a re-​model awhile back. Having said that, it remains the most basic FM I have ever frequented. No sushi, Starbucks, the most basic of bakeries (don’t blink) and a foreshortened, somewhat confusing meat section. No wine steward here but considering the demographic, no need for one. Nice produce and garden sections. When you walk in, just pretend it’s 1987 and you’ll be fine.
Drive carefully around here; this stretch of Hwy 99 attracts a lot of stop & go and random, sans signal last second turn drivers.

The 3 for $ 1 Donuts after 6pm is a great buy.
Gambling Machine upgrade is nice.
Next time, sales, are going on, DO NOT, display SALE PRICES that are for the next day, ONE DAY EARLY and think that I won’t be observant enough to know that I’ve been Over-​Charged on a current price listing that is only a 30 font sign hanging above the products.
One pharmacy employee, should be, fired and never work in public eye.
Bad Attitudes, 40+ hours per work week, get you no where.

I work in retail so knowing how to greet someone when they are walking up to the counter is a big thing for me. I went in to buy a few things and walked up to a register. The cashier just stared at me and didn’t say a word. The other cashier was standing behind him chatting away. I proceeded to walk to the self check out thinking that would be faster. For some reason, the self checkouts are just as slow. The self checkout attendant was arrogant and I am glad to say that I will never shop at this lazy Fred Meyers again.

It’s hard for department stores to stay nice in rougher neighborhoods. Fred Meyer seems to be one of the few chains that makes an effort — seriously, look at all of them. We should be glad they don’t just pack up and move — but they go beyond that — they keep a clean store with friendly staff and well-​stocked shelves.
You can find options at a Fred Meyer that you can’t find in most grocery stores… let alone waiting around for Whole Foods to move in to an un-​hip neighborhood. But I digress.
Here’s the lowdown:
* Great Produce, Deli, General Grocery, Beer, Wine, Spirits, house goods, and home supplies sections.
* Very (probably the smallest of all FM’s) tiny meat section — the butcher case was remodeled and is now tiny. I often don’t buy meat here for this very reason… I don’t like small selection with low turnover.
* Strangely, they put a huge amount of clothing into this location during the last remodel. They must know more than I do about how well that performs… I just can’t believe that people in this area specifically will buy clothes there.
Anyway, if you need a nicer place to shop in the guy of HWY 99 in Hazel Dell, then this is the one.

Fred Meyers is a great place to shop. The prices are not the lowest but they do have a large selection. They remind me of the old Gemco store in California which featured everything. I have rated them highly due to this and the customer service. We have used this store for 15 years. I don’t know of a «perfect» store but they carry stuff that many others don’t. I don’t appreciate the rude people that don’t pay attention to the crosswalk where people come in but that’s to be expected anywhere. I found it at Fred Meyers.

I recently moved to Vancouver and this Fred Meyer is relatively close to our new home. I came here to buy a few garden supplies and they had everything I needed. They also have some awesome folding shelves made from solid wood that are cheaper and will last much longer than Ikea furniture at twice the price. The staff in the garden department were very helpful save for the fact that the gate was closed and whoever had the key was gone meaning I had to walk all my dirt and plants all the way around (I parked near the gate for ease in loading since I saw it open when I parked). Overall I was happy with the garden center and home goods departments. I can’t say much for their produce.

This is a Fred Meyer «Marketplace» store. It will not have apparel or shoes, but does have all the other departments found in a Fred Meyer hypermart. You can come here for groceries, a deli, a bakery, a butcher and seafood counter, «Natural Choices,» electronics, and some housewares. Full service Fred Meyer stores are located south of here in Portland or to the southeast in Vancouver («Grand Central» or the «Mill Plain» store).
This store has a Chase bank branch in-​store.

I’m confused as to how they aren’t able to train their cashiers on how to scan a coupon at this store.

Fred Meyer has no-​nonsense pricing, coherent receipts, and non-​deceptive price-​sign/​product placement. Although they do have a shopping card, it’s not «tied» to pricing, as is stated on their sign-​up form. I really like the self check-​out machines at Freddie’s (and their sister company QFC), (also the self check-​out machines at this Albertson’s
) so at my leisure I can confirm that each item rings up at the price I expect, at my own pace, before I choose to continue on with the next item (crooked grocery stores do not deploy self check-​out machines, which would easily reveal their fraud, «before» your payment). Store hours are 7 days; 7am-​11pm. I am not associated with any grocery store. Another grocery chain that I really like is WinCo
PS: If you whistle blow like this on the Internet, prepare to be aggressively harassed, with massive resources, and relentless follow-​through. If you back off the harassment may stop. If you start-​up again, a kingpin may commit felonies, by expertly fabricating «facts». And skilfully manipulating legitimate firms and people, into fighting their battle for them — and convincing them to feel quite righteous about it – if they believe the falsehoods and exaggerations they were fed.
I suspect most of the active harassment professionals are being paid to do their job. But start taking (cell phone or digital camera) pictures, and the they’ll scatter like cockroaches — after which the harassment will increase to more extreme methods. It would help to have trusted friends watching out for you, and taking pictures, lots of well documented pictures, with clear pictures of their faces, and trust me, they’ll come completely unglued. You can pay a serious price for whistle blowing, even when your free speech is completely true.
