America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

The actual eye exam was fine. It was the part where you pick out glasses and go to pay for them thinking you’re getting two pairs for $ 104 and they end up being $ 235 because of special plastic lenses. And then they tell you they will be there within 7 – 10 business days but 18 days later you still have no glasses. I called and they said they called but left no voicemail. Sooo how was I supposed to know my glasses were ready if you don’t leave me a voicemail? And then 10 days after your first «call» you don’t bother trying to call again?!
Will not be going back.

Jennica, was the best ever. She was so helpful and courteous in helping us with our eyewear choices. The optometrist was also very knowledgeable and professional. I would always recommend purchasing your eyeglass needs here.

I took my son to this America’s Best location for his first set of contacts. The service he received was AMAZING. He is 13 years old and ready for contacts but he still had to be taught to put them in and out. I am very squeamish about contacts and do not wear them so I was not able to help him. The staff here spent 2 appointments working with him. At the 2^nd appointment he received undivided attention for over 2 hours!!! The manager that worked with him was so patient, so encouraging and so informational about how he was doing and what he needed to change to make them go in.
Dealing with a frustrated 13 year old boy with minimal help from Mom is going way beyond the call of duty for these employees but they did a fantastic job. Contacts for an athlete is kinda life changing ;) so this is big!
We were able to get an appt the first day we called, the service was excellent, the price was better than anywhere else. With 5 people in our family that wear glasses/​contacts, we will be lifelong customers of this location!

I was happily surprised by the service I got. The entire staff was friendly and wonderful to work with. The doctor and doctor’s assistant were very knowledgeable and I felt comfortable enough to ask questions as needed. It was clean and they had tons of frames to choose from. I was quoted a 7 – 10 day turn around for my glasses, but they came in even earlier that that! Overall it was a very good experience.
I took away one star, because I had an appointment, but that didn’t seem to matter as several walk-​ins were seen before me and there only seemed to be one doctor working at what I was told their busiest time of day. My appointment took a lot longer than it should have because of all this.

I took away another star, because I received a bill in the mail for $ 70, after what I had already paid in store. I called the number on the bill and after the lady did some investigating she told me that they had billed me wrong and the bill should only be $ 35 dollars because they forgot to charge me my copay while I was in the store. So basically if I had not paid attention and sent a check for the first amount I would have paid double what I really should have. And they should have it together enough to charge me the correct amount in the first place.

Wonderful! Do make an appointment! The optometrist here takes the time with you to get your prescription right! Personal care and great prices. It’s a new place so it’s clean and neat with the latest equipment and technology. Full service optometrist and opticians. Also being new, you can make an appointment quickly! Fast and friendly service, way better than the other Vancouver location. That place was too busy to be bothered by me and didn’t take the time to get my prescription prefect. This location is worth the drive if you are closer to the other (salmon creek) one! These people know their stuff and are friendly to boot! Will be doing business with this location for years to come!
