If your in the area and like to eat healthy this is the place to go. Despite the smoke house next door the employees try their hardest to not make that an issue. with their kind and respectful costumer service. the vibe is great and they keep their areas clean. every time I go my food is quick, hot, and ready to enjoy

Grilled food with great succulent flavor!!!
–Eat at this one if you’re in the area.
–Food takes about 10 minutes tops depending what you get but it’s worth the short wait.
–healthy choice too (great for after a workout-​fitbuffs)
–Servers are always nice and polite
–Cooks know what they are doing .

I love teriyaki bowls and they sell them. I especially like the steak bowl with rice and vegetables. Very tasty!

Food here is just «OK». The change to the kelp salad was a real disappointment. The salad that came with the plates weren’t all that great to begin with. The kelp salad is the worst.
For the most part, the service is good and friendly. I hate going to this Waba Grill because the entire place smells like pot since it is right next door to a pot dispensary.

In the 5 – 6 times I’ve been to Waba I’ve yet to have a bad experience. The staff is marginal at best, but the food is tasty and I personally haven’t had any run-​ins with the staff as far as attitude is concerned. The price might be a little hefty, made me bring the star rating to 3… But what can you expect in Los Angeles? If you like teriyaki it’s a nice quick stop to satisfy your craving. If you’re looking for anything above and beyond the ordinary, this probably isn’t the place for you. 3 ½ stars is my official grade.

The two girls work here are so rude and i called 2 time they ignore me and the fat one talks with her BF on the phone and she skipped me and when i ask for bowl to go they said we can’t gave u led or somethings to but the food on wtf and they hide the spoons really they act like they bey that shit not for the restaurant

Boring! They don’t offer anything new. Food had no taste and my shrimp was burnt. Their combos don’t even come with a drink. Plus they claim to be healthy and yet they have a huge variety of sodas which is the opposite of healthy. At least the place was clean. Parking is bad

Pretty good place to catch a cheap but, awesome meal. The food is great. The people are always friendly and happy to help. The teriyaki sauce is delicious and the chicken is the best quality. Good place for Van Nuys.

The food here at Waba is great, its similar to Yoshinoya but with more variety and better veggies. The salad is great and the plate combos are between $ 8 – 8.50. They were giving away a free soda when they first opened but now that has stopepd. I am a big fan of Teriyaki plates and Waba defintely has some good stuff.
This waba is next to a marijuana dispensary so it does smell a bit like weed inside. Enjoy!
