ValleyCuts was founded in the San Fernando Valley, by Ana Pascual. The company’s first location, which is still in existence, is in Van Nuys, California.

I’ve been a hair stylist for over 14 years. Graduated from Marinello School of Beauty and have been working in the field ever since. Graduated from Joe Blasco Makeup School in 2002. Worked as a colorist assistant in 2002 — 2004 for Lenny Strands. Worked from 2004 — 2014 as a hairstylist for Supercuts. Worked as a store manager for 6 years in the Sherman Oaks location. Finally I decided to move on and build my own salon.

I came in here and was not even greated.
The lady Ana who cut my hair didn’t even know what she was doing. She cut me and she did not clean her tools. I do Not recommend this place!

Went in for a trim on Saturday and was placed with Kelly. She was fantastic! Very professional and such a sweetheart! She did my hair perfectly and in a timely manner! Will most definitely be coming back for more services! Valley Cuts was AMAZING! Thanks a bunch you guys!

Trying to find affordable hair cuts/​coloring in LA is a headache. I found Valley Cuts on Unilocal,walked in, and Anna took care of me. She honestly gets my hair better than I do, and she is the sweetest woman you’ll ever meet.
She talks to you openly about the coloring, the layers, everything. And she makes sure you’re taken care of and then some while you wait during the treatment.
The pricing is honestly the best. You cannot beat the service and pricing they have here. And I will be going to Anna from now on while I living in the Valley. Thanks Anna/​Valley Cuts!!! You guys are the BEST. :)

Wanted to get my hair chopped off last minute and found this place on Unilocal.I am so happy I tried Valley Cuts. I have really thin and fine hair due to a thyroid condition so I’m very insecure about my hair and dread getting it cut because it’s hard for me to find a place or person I trust and am comfortable with. Kelly was the girl who my hair and I’m very happy with the how my hair turned out. Definitely a lot shorter than planned but I LOVE it! I think I finally found a place and hair stylist I can go to on a regular basis

Absolutely amazing place! Went in for color and cut and I must say I’m so glad I found them on Unilocal and gave them a try. My hair was looking so horrible and it feels so awesome now I got exactly what I wanted. Shout out to Bernadette who did an amazing job. Oh and the pricing I must say is a plus compared to all the other salons in the area! I got color, cut, shampoo, and styled only paid $ 106. Not to mention the products they use are all amonia free so you don’t get damaged hair and no strong smell it’s just great. Service was great as well! Thank you Valley Cuts see you in a few weeks!

I had a great experience with Clara today! I came here to get my bi-​monthly trim to manage my post-​experimental hair destruction. I went from box dyes to stripping and bleaching. Don’t worry people, I’ve since come to my senses and leave the coloring to the professionals. I am no longer cosmetologically impaired.
It was $ 21 for a trim and shampoo. I made no appointment, just sauntered in like an entitled youth and they put me right in the chair. I always leave satisfied.

I loved my experience here. Everything I go it’s empty so I don’t wait at all. I get the cut I want and it’s better than I expect it to be. My hair looks and feels great. I would recommend this place to everyone. Prices are pretty good.

Cheap, efficient, and good service.
There is private parking available and it’s $ 16 for a cut.
If you come just before close they will still take you.
They offer you fresh water while you wait and it comes with a napkin so your hands don’t freeze.
Will certainly come back again.

First time coming to this salon and I felt in love.
Yesterday I went for a hair cut and she did it just how I asked, and today I went for my hair coloring. I went from a grey platinum to a dark brown with caramel highlights. I forgot to get the ladies name but she was just so honest and amazing! And very gentle with hair! My hair came out extremely beautiful, no damages, soft and just great. This will always be my salon. Ladies very talkative and sweet. She’s the one on the first stall on the left side coming in :) I highly recommend coming here. 100 $ well worth it

Started getting my haircuts here in the early part of 2015. Thought I would give it a try after having my hair mangled by a few different hack jobs who shouldn’t be allowed to hold a pair of scissors. I’m glad I found this place. Now I get my hair cut so it looks the way I want. I found that Ana the stylist is patient and listens to my questions and explanation of what I want and gives helpful suggestions based on her experience, and I get the cut I want.
It’s a nice clean place with plenty of parking. Located about one block North from the Costco/​Staples/​Pep Boys shopping center at Sepulveda and Oxnard and the metro bus line.

This place sucks! 2 huge problems!
1. The receptionist is rude I Called in to tell him I was running late. He responded with, we can’t take you any more! You ruined the schedule! Then puts me in Mega hold and the lady Ana picks up and let’s me know it is okay to come in!
2. I come here to the worse hair stylist All these reviews are fake! She mostly does MEN hair cuts! I needed a trim and she looked at my hair and laughed and said she was not able to do the cut I asked for! So unprofessional! Will not be coming here at all, nor referring any type of business! Don’t waist your time!!!

This place is really great! — I have nothing but positive things to say. I got my haircut by Ana, who is the owner and manager. She was extremely accommodating and was great at listening to what I wanted while offering her own professional opinion.
The price of the cut is something you really can’t gripe about. It was only $ 16 for a cut and a complimentary tea tree shampoo and wash treatment. It’s a great bargain for a great cut from a terrific lady!

I went in with my partner to freshen up our layers and get a nice trim. The experience from the moment We walked in to the time We walked out was absolutely incredible. I called and spoke with Anna, the salon owner, that same afternoon and we were able to see them that evening, which was a plus cause we really needed this trim. Anna and her husband are so sweet, they make you feel at home. The other stylist, Laura, had cut my gf hair and did a wonderful job. She too is very friendly and knowledgable in what she does. We plan to go back to this salon for all of our hair needs. Not only are their pricing reasonable and their costumer service is beyond amazing they are close to home and close to COSTCO. It’s nice to have finally found not one but two great stylist that we can trust with our hair. I will highly recommend Valley Cuts and both stylist to everyone I come in contact with.

Nice shop super close to Costco. It has room for about 6 stations but when I was there it was only Anna. I think she owns the place. (She is actually hiring, if you know someone.) She is a delightful women from Guatemala, if I remember correctly, and is very skilled at her job. I normally cut my own hair but I was short on time and 2 months too bushy so I made an appointment 10 mins ahead and stopped in.
Asked her for the side shortness I normal do and to do what she wanted with the top. I ended up with a custom scissor cut that looked 5 x better than my normal buzz cuts. From her clientele she has lots of family customers, but she did a great men’s cut. The shampoo is included in the men’s cut. Very affordable and so far my favorite place in LA.

I got my hair cut about a week ago, and i am beyond satisfied. Anna is so great. I called that morning, her fiancé picked up, and was very polite and accommodating. They were able to schedule me in within 15 minutes of me calling.
I had a vision of how I wanted my hair to look, and she made it exactly how I wanted it. She was very Friendly, and I felt so comfortable with her. I usually don’t trust a lot of hair stylist because they usually do the opposite of what I tell them. But Anna made it just right!
I’m also very lucky that it is literally walking distance from my place! :D thanks Anna!
This will now be the only place I will be getting my hair cuts!
