Just a disappointment from the get go! Our company has done previous work with them and I was told they could accommodate us. I was completely wrong when asking for a portion of the same services they’ve had provided us in the past and were uncharging by nearly 500 dollars. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried to get on the same page, but after countless e-​mails, it was leading nowhere. My last request was just to meet the offer they’d provided our business the previous time, nothing more or our company would have to move one. The response I received, «I’ll cancel the order when I get back to the office on Tuesday.» Wow! such a shocker and disappointment! I was not asking for any special treatment and provided invoices to clear up any misconceptions from our previous orders only to get shut down. Thanks but no thanks!

The first set of chairs they gave me would break when people would sit on them. Also, I hate when guys call you «champ» and «buddy.» That’s exactly what Carlos did. He answered the call when it was time for pick up and told us, «you made us wait a month, you could wait another two days. Carlos definitely needs to work on his customer service.

I used AAA rents to rent a tent and some other items for my husband’s birthday party recently. All I can say they were just great. Starting with Jeff who patiently worked with me as I changed my mind constantly on how I wanted the tent to look. Also the crew that did the installation was very professional and accommodated me in every way. The tent and chandeliers looked fabulous and all of my friends wanted to know who I used. I got quotes from other rental companies as well, but not only were most of them a lot more expensive but also gave me attitude. I can highly recommend AAA rents.

NEVER, EVER, EVER (EVER!!!) rent from this company. They are absolute and utter crooks — they literally stole $ 9000 from a free community music festival in Los Angeles. They provided horrible service (they set-​up a stage and were 2 hours behind) for the event, and we constantly had to remind them of things they were supposed to do that they just forgot about. This meant having to go back and forth to their warehouse to pick up the items they were constantly forgetting. It made us look terrible in front of the community and the vendors that were paying good money to participate in the event. The worst part is the fact that they charged us up-​front for services that we did not need, and refused to return our money. This included overcharging us for water barriers by $ 3000. The event a volunteer based community building music festival, with profits going towards future community events and neighborhood cleanup. PLEASE do not patronize this horrible company!

Pretty disappointing. We have a company holiday party coming up next week. We needed tents to cover an outdoor casino night. The representative said someone would call me to set up a visit to gauge what we would need for the party. We set a date for the visitation to happen a few days later. The day came, and no one showed up. No call either.
I just received a call a week after the original appointment, and the representative says, «I was just looking through my books and I was wondering if anyone had ever gone out to see you.» I recognized the voice. It was the same guy that said, «Hey, I’ll be out there to see you in a few days!»
He asked me if I would be interested in having him come out now. I said no. He asked me if the party were cancelled. I said no. I let him know we were forced to go with someone else. He sounded like I had done something wrong. Oh well. I’m the one that got mistreated, not him.

Wow, these guys are amazing!!! I run over 100 tradeshows/​conferences a year at my corporate job, so I appreciate and understand the details of event planning. There is no other company in the valley that I would have rather partnered up with for my very own 40^th birthday party. From beginning to end, my experience was wonderful. Customer service on-​point with Carlos & Jeff. Set-​up crew was awesome, Antonio was very helpful, they all go above and beyond. Professional, on-​time, friendly, cost effective, and they have access to everything you need! I got my lights, dance floor, bar, furniture and linens there.

This place really saved me. The rental place (Edi Party Rental) I had originally ordered from for my son’s Bar Mitzvah told me 3 days before that there was a mix up and they no longer had enough of my color linens in stock. Needless to say I was in a panic and started emailing every rental place in the L.A. Area I could find. Triple A got back to me asap and their prices were amazing. They had the colors I needed, were helpful and were able to deliver on a Saturday with a two day notice. I will never use any other rental place!

You cannot go wrong with this company. The entire staff from start to finish made my life event) go smoothly. They set up 2 days before the event, allowing caters and other vendors to do what they needed to do. They returned to days after the event to retrieve their tent/​canopy, bar, dance floor, and lighting.

The ordering process went smoothly. Everything was delivered just as I ordered it (right size, make, model, etc.). Everything was picked up at the proper time. My order was relatively simple, but I had great customer service.
I’m not sure how there can be any shadiness in terms of cost. You are given a contract after your order is placed with the exact number of items you rented, the cost, and the time of delivery and pickup. Pretty basic.
Couldn’t ask for much more.

so am in-​charge of a VIP event and everything that could go wrong with renting party events from AAA went wrong! Podium i ordered was all scrathed up, paint peeling, side of podium stripped of finishing thus showing plywood!
Table cloths missing in action, or wrong size delivered. oh yeha, no one is picking up cell phones or returning calls to assist. Last time I go to them, their not even reasonably priced!
Sign me — Frustrated with bad service!

Unacceptable.
They delivered filthy, smelly, and damaged rental chairs. The glasses arrived in crates covered with clear plastic; the clear plastic was covered in dirty, black, greasy residue apparently from the inside of a filthy delivery truck. The glasses themselves were paltry water glasses, not the requested type of high ball glasses or tumblers. After we requested clean chairs and the correct glasses, they brought another round of (slightly less dirty) chairs and paltry water glasses (this time, demure water glasses with stems). During our event, one of the chairs simply collapsed under a guest who was sitting completely still (on this pathetic piece of garbage). The lecture was interrupted by an explosive sound (like a shotgun), as the chair gave way, and the guest tumbled to the floor. We were horrified.
I would never, ever, ever use this incompetent company again, and I hope no one else uses them. They clearly do not train their staff, and they clearly have other priorities.

I’ve used AAA Rents & Events for everything from a large festival (with thousands of people & booths) to a small backyard birthday party. I LOVE THEM. Ramiro, Carlos and everyone on staff is friendly and cares about making our event the best one possible.

This is one of the few Unilocal reviews I’ve written but I was going to make sure that I made my experience public. I had a memorial service Sunday last week and rented 100 white folding chairs for the event. When the chairs were delivered on the Friday, I was not in the house. My housekeeper had them put the chairs in a side room. When I came home, I noticed a very strong smell of disgusting sweat that I could smell from a couple feet outside of the room. Then I noticed that the chairs were so dirty and old that they were giving out this awful odor. I called many times and spoke to Carlos and told him that this was for an indoor memorial service and I cannot use smelly chairs. He said he would call me back, but he never did. I called 4 times and one other guy picked up and said they could take the chairs back. This was the day before my memorial service and I would then have to find chairs somewhere else! I asked to talk to the owner but he never returned my phone call. I gave them one star and if I could have, I would have given them NO STARS! They delivered GROSS chairs and had AWFUL customer service.

They really need to work on their customer service skills. Went in twice and no one acknowledged us for a while. Just felt ignored, apathy isn’t good for a party rental business.
The rentals were fine but had to pick up and drop off the items myself even though I live really close. When I asked about delivery the guy said: I don’t have anybody right now, even though i saw plenty of guys in red shirts seating around.

Great service, great rentals, great rates. I will definitely use them again!

Quick, easy, friendly service for a good price. What more can a customer ask for! Thank you. :)

We went to the showroom, everything was fine. The guy was helpful. The problem started at delivery. They gave us a window of 2 – 3, and showed up at 1:30. Whoops, my roommate wasn’t home yet. Then the chairs were all sorts of scuffed up and ugly… which is just wonderful for our wedding right? Blah. Then I used the drink dispenser and found black floaties in my drink. YELCH! Then for pick up I had my grandparents waiting… and they were late.
Overall… not super impressed. At least they got our order right and the price was ok… will probably look for another vendor in the future.

Triple A rentals has always delivered great items and service for our parties the past few years. They are easy to work with and have great prices!

This place was the saving grace for my brother-in-law’s 40^th birthday bash. I was able to rent their tables on short notice. It was quick and easy to pick up and drop off the tables.

I agree that this place needs a little more structuring, organization and communication. I used them because my company has used them before and they’re cheap.
There was a lot of mis-​communication and shadiness about costs. I had a particularly crazy situation with lots of extensions and random cost quotes, BUT what made up for it was the service I got from Debbie. Debbie made sure to keep me happy and save my organization money, even if it meant I was getting the tables for a lot cheaper than the rate. I definitely had to talk to two different people (each promising to call me back yet completely failing to) before getting her, but at the end it saved us money, so I can’t be too upset.
