If this place had cheeks, I’d kiss ‘em. But for now, I’ll stop by for another Beef Cheek Burrito. I love it!

Hidden gem; totally unassuming hole in the wall. Randomly stopped in for a quick breakfast burrito after shopping at Superking and getting a car wash. $ 5.45 for a piping hot burrito — hash browns, the best bacon ever, fresh tomato, cilantro, eggs, no cheese. Tasty red and green salsa too. Place is a little run down but the food is on point. And there’s a random, yet functional little sink across from the tables to wash your hands!

We love this place! The more we come, the more we love it… Our fav is the Two Tacos Lunch Plate. The carnitas are delicious! Also, the Carne al Pastor is pretty tasty. This Van Nuys/Sherman Way is our location! It’s smaller and service is much faster/better. The ladies who work there are super nice :) My one recommendation would be to go during afternoon hours… At night food may not be as fresh, but during afternoon hours it’s always fresh, since people are always coming in. Try it out… You won’t regret it!

I got a carne asada burrito for $ 5.45 + tax and it was well prepared and the meat tasted good AND I originally rated this restaurant a 5 star. HOWEVER, upon return visit, I had an awful burrito! The meat was tough, filled with tendons, old. It was complete opposite of what I originally had. I will give this place one more try to serve better meat or else I will not be back again and I will leave a 1 star review next time.

Really good food might be a dollar or two over priced. Went here for dinner. I got the shrimp cocktail it was really good and it had alot of descent sized shrimp. They need more drink options

I have been going here for years and they haven’t changed much. Pretty standard tacos. I usually get a chicken taco, which has real chicken off the bone. I appreciate the fresh food, but sometimes they over-cook the chicken and it ends up dry. A taco plate with rice and beans only costs $ 3.87 after tax and is big enough for me to split into two meals. Very small restaurant. The volume level is always way too loud, so I would not recommend eating there. They always have at least 2, sometimes 3 things blaring at the same time(jukebox and at least one television). Decent, cheap food for take-out.

Good food, the employees are really friendly and the food is always great every time I have gone there. You have to try their special home made sauce. Recommended for anyone wanting to grab fast Mexican food good quality.

I love this place! The first time I went to Tacos El Zorro I ordered the nachos since Im a fan of nachos. The nachos had the whole works everything nachos should have. Also the tacos they have there are great. They make the tortillas there too which made it even better! This would be my go to place for nachos 1 star — «will be telling everyone to stay away» bad 2 stars — it’s okay, i won’t return 3 stars — it’s okay, i’ll come back 4 stars — it’s pretty good, i’ll come by again! 5 stars — it’s really good, my go-to places! Enjoy!

Top 3 best tacos in all of the SFV, hands down. I an a bit of a taqueria connoisseur, and I have to say these guys have utterly amazing tacos. Carne asada soft tacos, tortillas made by hand and DELICIOUS salsa. Anyone who rates this place less than 4 stars is smoking crack. EDIT: Try their regular soft-shell tacos! NOT the street-style!!!

I thought these were«the best tacos in the San Fernando Valley». They were ok. I had 2 carne asada tacos and 2 Pollo tacos and they were just ok. Nothing special. I still need to try Tacos Llama.

Pictures on menu look amazing. Food so so and defiantly over priced. Won’t go back.

An affordable small taco joint in the Valley that’s totally worth checking out. The food is really filling and they give you an extremely generous amount of nachos and salsa while you’re waiting for your food. Great place to grab a taco on the go.

I’m writing the same stuff from the Noho store… Man… I loved the burrito! Like others said… so juicy and flavorful. I love when it when you get into that delicious, saucy goodness when you get to the bottom of their burritos! Taco’s are excellent too! Unlike the noho joint, this one doesn’t have beer.

On just about every trip home from the Home Depot in Panorama City, you’ll find me standing at the counter at Tacos El Zorro deep in Van Nuys. I found this place on the great taco hunter blog, and am glad to report this place doesn’t disappoint. Every time I walk in the door, everyone from the patrons to the guy working the grill tilts their head and must be wondering, «what’s this Gringo doing here?» While they aren’t 100% traditional LA tacos, the tortillas deserve their fare share of the credit for my rating of this place. They’re a little large but go far beyond serving as the delivery vehicle for their filling. I never deviate from the holy taco trinity sampler of carne asada, carnitas and al pastor. The carne asasda here is off the charts. The skirt steak tastes like it’s been bathed and massaged in a garlic and citrus marinade and beaten into submission when topped with the usual accoutrements and an amazing salsa roja. Carnitas were a bit greasy, but delicious, and the al pastor was just average, and the chicken was a little dry. For any of its shortcomings, keep this in mind: You could easily feed a family of four here for less than the cost of a pitcher of margaritas at Señor Fred and be more satisfied with your dining choice. Be brave, dare venture of the blvd.

I found this place through a co-worker of mine that an heard of it via«The Great Taco Hunt» blog. Let’s just say that I would never go in a place like this otherwise… the exterior and interior of the place are definitely are not exactly screaming«Eat Here.» But, after lunching here just once, we were hooked. The menu is quite extensive… everything from the tacos, burritos, and enchiladas, to more exotic dishes. I think I remember seeing beef cheeks and milk guts on the menu(not sure if this is just a poor Spanish to English translation, or the real thing… I wasn’t about to find out). Despite this huge menu, I’ve always stuck to three tacos with rice and beans. I’ve tried the pollo, carne asada, and the al pastor. The al pastor and the carne asade are amongst the best I’ve ever tried. As a previous reviewer mentioned, despite a sign on their window that says«Mexican Fast Food,» the food does take a little longer to get to you… but it’s worth the wait. You can see them make your tacos — everything from throwing the meat on the skillet to throwing on the cilantro. If you order guacoamole, you see them make it from scratch. If you order a smoothie(they’re awesome, by the way), you see them make it. Everything is made to order, and it shows in the taste. Aesthetics aside, this is a great taco place! We recently moved our offices from the valley to downtown, so I don’t get up here nearly as much. But when I’m in the area, I always make a point to stop here for lunch.

My boyfriend got the tacos al pastor and swears they were really delicious. I got the chicken tacos and they were just okay. We waited longer than I’d like to get 7 tacos, and the staff didn’t didn’t really speak English which is a problem since I only had three years of high school Spanish. There are other tacos stands around the valley that are better so I suggest you look otherwise.
