History

Established in 2003.

DrumSet4u began with a few students in 2003. Today, I teach students of all ages who have the desire and dream to play along with their favorite records, participate with friends in bands and orchestras. Many of my students have experienced changes in their personalities. They’re more confident, outgoing, and have improved their physcial coordination and overall self-​esteem. Several students have performed at famous musical venues in the Los Angeles area. They’ve taken that all important step forward. Why don’t you!

I present clear, focused, and dynamic lesson plans that achieve quick results. My methods are based upon my personal studies with such legendary players/​teachers as Gregg Bissonette (David Lee Roth, Ringo Starr), Karen Teperberg (Chris Botti, Jesse McCartney, Moshav), Mike Clark (Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters) and the legendary drum guru, the late Murray Spivack. I have a structured program that will get you up and running immediately. Always friendly, patient, and professional!

I perform professionally in Los Angeles with the Americana rock group the Fred Harvey band, and have performed with band members from Stevie Wonder, Phil Collins, and Michael Bolton’s groups.
