Another great experience with Rich and Famous. This time it was a banged up fender. Gave me a good price and did a fantastic job. No trace of the damage. Thanks guys!

I was referred to Rich and Famous by Automotive M&M (an outstanding mechanic). Our car looked like it was destined for the junk yard– bumper taped on with duct tape, large swaths of scratches all around the car– I believed it was not fixable. The people at Rich and Famous said it was an «easy» job. I didn’t believe it, but when I picked it up it was unrecognizable– it looked almost new. And they even detailed the car interior. The job only took 4 days and was very reasonably priced. A definite recommendation and worth more than 5 stars! I’m only sorry I didn’t take before and after photos.

I brought my car here from a recommendation of a family friend and Jessie really took care of me! My car was ready earlier than expected and the work remained flawless. It looks like it never got touched! I will definitely keep the ball rolling and recommend rich and famous to anyone I know and all of you! Their prices are fair and the quality is amazing!

Not my first time here… was pleased with the work before and this time needed a full paint job on my 88 MR2… Told me two weeks, car was ready in two weeks… one small item was not done but they quickly resolved the issue at no cost of course… They did a great job… not the cheapest place in town but your definitely getting what your paying for… I couldn’t be happier …

Had clearcoat flaking on lower tailgate of my 2007 Honda Element. Visited «Rich and Famous» because of the Unilocal reviews. The boss is an outstanding, friendly and honest person. He quoted $ 350 which seemed reasonable. When I picked up the car, I could not believe how great the whole car looked. It had been touched up, buffed and detailed in addition to the super paint job. Could not be more pleased. Make sure to use the Unilocal deal to save a few $$.

Second time I’ve brought one of my cars over here. These guys made my car look flawless after all the repairs, will definitely be going back to them if I ever have any body related issues with any of my cars.

The most honorable body and interior guys you will ever encounter. They do first class work and their team of professionals tend to you like family. And they will never, ever take short cuts. They have worked admirably on over 10 cars for me from ferrari to ford, treating each car like their own.

Went in for an estimate and was immediately
convinced this was the shop for me, not only did they greet me with excellent customer service but gave me a better quote than all the other shops I went to. I’ve looked around for many auto body shops not just in van nuys but Rich and Famous caught my eye with their great Unilocal ratings.
Now my car is looking better than new and im telling all my friends and family to take their cars here. Thank you to Rich and Famous Auto Body again!

I visited on Sept 15, 2015. I received an estimate that was double the cost of an estimate from another Unilocal highly rated body shop. Double the cost is definitely for the Rich and Famous. Not for me yet though.

These guys are AWESOME! A ‘big rig’ trucker fender bender’d me and I needed a trustworthy body shop to replenish my vehicle. Rich & Famous went over and beyond my expectation! Not only did they repair the damage but they also corrected other blemishes my car had; all within a speedy timeline. Thank you Rich & Famous Auto Body!

I needed to have a few small touch-​ups done to the interior and exterior of my Corvette so due to their great reviews on Unilocal I took my car to them. Even though it was only a small job they were very kind and respectful to me and didn’t try to put me off. I rented a car there the next morning, which was so quick and affordable. The next day they called to tell me my car was ready.
They did a great job and their prices were very fair. Thanks to John, Albert, Reuben, and everyone who helped me. I will definitely use them in the future.

Best body shop ever! Someone tried to break into my brand new bmw 2 series and made a hole in my door. Took it to rich and famous body shop and they did an amazing job! My car looks flawless! I had my car back looking brand new within a couple of days. Highly recommend these guys and the owner is real friendly and explains everything.

My 2011 BMW 328i had a nasty scratch /​dent on the right passenger side. I scoured Unilocal for the best body shop and found Rich and Famous. The reviews here were AMAZING – I always look for the worst reviews to see just how bad a place can be, and this place just didn’t seem to have any (credible) bad reviews. The consistent 5 star rating was impressive. Therefore, I drove 1 hour to get here. Sy met me on a Tuesday morning. He just has an honest demeanor about him. I told him Geico estimated the repair to be $ 775 – he quoted me $ 1,000 with a 10% discount (for coming an hour away) and he kindly recommended that I pay out of pocket instead of using Geico’s $ 500 deductible given how much my insurance premium would go up. I really appreciated his astute advice – could tell he’s been doing this for a long time. Anyway, he fixed my car in 4 days. It was ready on Friday. And my BMW looks as good as new! It’s amazing. Sy really takes pride in his work. He talks about how important it is to have the best quality, because that’s how customers will continue to recommend him.

These days you can’t help, but to think about finding the right mechanic or repair shop that won’t screw you over. Top it off at the end of day it comes down to top reliable quality, timeliness on repairs, and value in trying to save that precious $$.
When it comes to Rich & Famous you’re right on the money. Don’t me wrong first impression– location is not in a real great and parking definitely sucks. Trust me I really overlooked it and I’m sure many more has. In the end you shouldn’t. As I hope with anyone who has common sense, I looked around quite a few shops for some auto upholstery repair for my ride. Average cost was within the range of $ 400-​$ 600. Top if off 3 out of the 15 shops I asked I would’ve paid additional since to remove and replace some panels. What set rich and famous above all else was the timeliness in repair. Ruben was my repair guy and the minute he said he can knock out the various repairs in about 2 days I was hook-​line-​sunk in since the rest of the shops was estimating anywhere from 3 – 5 turnaround.
The end product was good as new-!

I went here a few weeks ago after looking online for a body detail place to remove stripe decals. I had put stripes on my tailgate and removed them and all the glue residue was left behind and nothing would get it off. I went in on a Monday and was given a quote to remove the glue and have it buffered so it looked nice. The guy who did it was busy so he told me to come back Wednesday, as that was the next time I was able to come back. I dropped off the car 1.5 hours later the car looked as if the stripes were never there. These guys did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I will be back if I ever need anything done.

Flawless in every way! The service rep at the local car dealer of my brand on the Van Nuys auto strip referred me to the area giant, Pride Auto Body, for some paint work. However, another rep walked up and handed me a card for Rich & Famous. I first went to Pride, a huge operation with a big customer service front area similar to a car dealership, complete with well-​dressed managers, coffee machines & donuts. After finding out that I planned to make an insurance claim, they gave me a rather large estimate including stripping down many parts of the car that were very far away from the damage, as well as a rather long time frame for the repair. I was told later that the dealership I went to, and probably a number of others, have referral deals with Pride. I decided to go to a couple other body shops for estimates.
At Rich & Famous, I was greeted by Sy, who looked like a very hands-​on owner. I have a nice, late model car with very high-​quality factory paint. I noticed some fancy cars there (Bentley, vintage Mercedes, late model high-​end BMWs & Corvette), which gave me plenty of comfort. There was no big customer service area with well-​dressed managers or European coffee machines. This was a traditional body shop, and I figured it translated to lower overhead. I was right. Sy quoted me a price way below Pride, a timeframe of half the time of Pride, and described less removal of undamaged parts that I didn’t want touched. I went to one more body shop because the insurance co. reps worked out of there, but I came back to Rich & Famous for the work.
They did an impeccable job. I have waited a couple of weeks, have since washed the car, and looked for imperfections but couldn’t find any. They kept to their promised timeframe, and, although their price haggling if any was done with the insurance co. & not me, no one had any objections about the final cost so I assume that was kept reasonable per the estimate.
Although I hope I don’t have to return to Rich & Famous any time soon because that would mean my car is damaged again, I heartily recommend them to everyone.

I would like to start off by saying I’ve been patronizing this business for a good 8 years now, so this review is long over due.
Sy and Albert are absolutely wonderful to deal with! They are professionals who take pride, patients and diligence in their work. They do not operate like other body shops who only try to do the minimum and charge you the maximum. I’m a huge car guy and have had everything from a BMW 335is to Benz E63, E550,CLS63,CLA45 amg, all of which have visited this shop.
I sold my 335is to car max a few years ago, i had a driver rear end me while at a stop and took it to rich and famous for the repairs. Car max said «we see the report of the accident in the car fax, but we cant tell the dumper has been replaced/​worked on??» they check this with a black light mind you and even took me to see because they found it so unbelievable that they did the repairs so perfect.
Besides the excellent job they do at fixing each car i have taken in, both Sy and Albert are an absolute pleasure to work with. They are very upfront and honest with everything that is done to the car. They go line by line explaining every little detail in the repair so you leave with the peace of mind knowing everything that needs to be taken care of is just that, taken care of.
Not to mention the countless touch ups these guys have done for me at no extra cost really puts them above and beyond every other body shop which try to nickle and dime you for every little thing.
Sy and Albert, you guys are like family. You have worked on my mothers, sister, father and even my friends cars. I highly recommend you guys to everyone I care about, thank you for all the years of stellar customer service.

This place is honest and amazing!
First off I know very little about cars and the price range to fix them. I also look like the part and is easily taken advantage off. I have a standard 2006 Mini Cooper with the front decal strips completely damaged and cracked. I wanted them removed before they caused anymore damage and aesthetically they looked horrendous.
I went to 3 places. The first place is Sticker City in Sherman Oaks. They specialize in car decals so logically this should be the right place right? Meh. My estimate was 75– 150.
Second place I went to was near Rich & Famous. My price was 150 for the stripes to be removed and «if the paint comes off I will repaint your entire hood for free. Maybe take 1– 4 days» :/​
Finally went to Rich & Famous. No bs and straight to the point telling me the decal removal will not damage my paint, but since the paint hasn’t been exposed to the sun will be a little bit darker than the rest. 50 bucks. Also my headlights were all hazy/​fogged up and need to be restored. 50 bucks. Total removing my damaged decal stripes AND headlight restoration only 100 dollars?! Not only that they touched up all the scratches on my entire car!!! Job was complete in 3.5 hours.
Please save your time and gas. Just come here and speak to Albert!

This place is awesome. I had never been here before today, but I’d been trying to find a place close to work to do something simple: switch out my brake light bulbs and the license plate bulbs. Everywhere I called would charge too much or couldn’t take me today. So I started to stress out a little. Brought my car into Rich & Famous, they switched them out in 15 minutes and didn’t even charge me.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back! Thanks guys!

These guys are amazing!
First off, I love my car. We’ve been through a lot over the past 8 years, including a handful of dents and dings. Most recently I came out to find my trunk was jammed in because someone hit it while trying to parallel park. Oy.
I had gotten other quotes prior and the trunk alone was quoted to be about $ 300 to fix. Since it wasn’t that important to me at the time, I just let it go and strapped down the trunk (yep, I was «that guy»).
This all changed when my boyfriend got a new car. All of a sudden my beat up Miata looked worse next to his shiny new Prius, so I turned to Unilocal to see what I could do.
Albert gave me honest quote for the damage on the side of my car… but since it was more than the value of the car I decided I could live with it.
Now here’s the best part… for my trunk he asked if I just wanted to get it to close again. I said yes, and away he went. No kidding, 10 minutes later he came to get me to show me my closed trunk!
He then wandered off to work on another car, and I came after him to thank him and ask him how much I owe. He said nothing, free.
Hallelujah!!!
These guys are honest, quick, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them if I had a newer car that needed body work.
