I’m hard pressed to adequately convey how bad this operation is, in my opinion. Waited over an hour for a set appointment while listening to the father and son have a loud, profanity laced conversation about private client issues. Endured the receptionist from hell. Finally when walking out in disgust, a guy in old baggy jeans with both knees torn out escorted me to Pearman jr. Decked out in cargo shorts and a dirty t-​shirt. Wasn’t prepared for his «office.» Had to scrape a chair clean for my son and I to sit. Where you expect diploma (s) there are empty booze bottles. Both doors open with numerous people wandering in and out from both directions to ask random questions which he interrupts me mid sentence to answer. Intercom too. Three times after asking me a question, he simply turned, again mid sentence, and walked out of the room to ask someone questions unrelated to our conversation. Finally I’d had enough and called him out on my experience thus far. His response was to ask if I smoked. I said no, so he led my son and I to a piss soaked alley to indulge his habit while blowing smoke in our faces. We had to constantly reposition ourselves to avoid the smoke. He was completely oblivious. Asked him about the whole Vegas thing (yeah, Google THAT!), was informed that «all women are whores.» Immediately left, but not before he followed me to the sidewalk, and notified me that «his father was a big time attorney and bought this building 25 years ago, so what am I supposed to do besides lawyering?» Pathetic, in my opinion this is as bad as it gets. He couldn’t even pretend to be professional. The last straw was him handing me a post it note with the name of a competitor. He made no real attempt to evaluate my case, assuming he had the job. Tacky «trial day» suit hanging from a nail in the wall. You can’t make this shit up! Too over the top for hangover-​4. I understand they dispense free legal advise from a hot dog stand once a week, and worth every penny, I’m sure! See a photo of the elegant Van Nuys office on their business profile, you decide.
