Excellent, professional work provided by Oscar and his crew! Trustworthy, friendly and competitive prices. They did work at our house main sewer line quickly and efficiently, it hardly felt like they were there. Highly recommend them!

We had an issue with a toilet after an extensive remodel of our house. Our neighbor recommended Oscar’s Plumbing. Marcos and his extremely talented crew were able to determine the problem and repair it in a matter of days. We were beyond satisfied with the job they did! We would always recommend Marcos and his crew from Oscar’s Plumbing.

I can not say enough about Marco! I came home from work on a Friday evening to find my sprinklers flooding the back yard. I called Oscars plumbing and Marco called us right away. Marco went above and beyond and came to the house immediately on a Friday evening! He was so helpful and fixed the problem and made sense of the shady work done previously (house was a flip). You have a lifelong customer in us!

Pipes bursted i had watee EVEYWHERE i felt like i was in a water park. howeever aa fund as it may sound Unilocalers not nearly as fun as raging waters. I had been walking around my house im water socks. not only did the carpet get ruined my pipes repairs were out of this world until i called Oscar’s they soothed my anxiety ans stress level jenny was patient and thurough with recommendations and cost. I appreciate you so much for the not trying to sell me on things i didnt need to bring my house back I’m order. Thank you so much you all are truly a blessing

Oscar’s was wonderful! I had a special need — trying to locate a diamond earring with sentimental value dropped into a sink and seemed to be beyond the p trap — and on its way into a septic system. I called a septic company, and Deb there said it could not help, but if anyone could, it was Oscar at Oscar’s Plumbing. Within about an hour, Oscar had arranged for a mini cam and technician to travel to my home, outside his normal area, to locate and retrieve the diamond. We ended up finding the earring caught in the plunger mechanism, and Oscar was not upset at being cancelled, even though he was half way to my home, and said no charge. Please send him all your plumbing needs. What a great guy.

will never call them again, the owner is rude and they had to come out 3 times
to change a faucet and the guy who came out was Jay, could not do a good job and
it started leaking, ruining my granite because of the leak… just not a professional
company, please do not call them.

Carlos showed up within 30 minutes and was a rock star.
He could not have been nicer or more helpful and most important, efficient.

I wouldn’t call these guys. We waited two hours and then called for an ETA only to be told that the appointment has been canceled. I’m curious to know what would happen if we didn’t call and if Oscar’s would even bother to notify us. I’m especially livid /​miffed /​pissed /​outraged /​hulk angry given we took 3 hours off of work to accommodate Mr. Oscar.

I learned my lesson the hard way with this company. I called them from the reviews here on Unilocal.They came to the house and were very friendly. It was Miguel and one other guy. I should have known as soon as they kept on repeating how they always try to help people and how honest they were.
Then the act started which was a bunch of up sell. A simple plumbing job to re set a toilet and fix a small leak that took less than 90 minutes total and about a $ 90 part they wanted $ 750 for! On top of that they tried to sell me on additional service that wasn’t needed with dropping a camera down the clean out which I did not ask for and was no need for. Tried to sell me a service for $ 3000.
The act continues as soon as I’m not really wanting that. Miguel calls Oscar and the price drops on the added service but not the work they did and wanted $ 750 for.
I called another plumber at that point with them there and was told point blank 90 minutes of labor and a $ 90 part would come to no more than $ 300 if I was correct. Well I went to home depot and found the part for $ 70. I had no problem with the extra $ 20 they charged me for parts but the labor was obscene!
* The back and forth phone calls between Miguel and supposedly Oscar were about 5 calls altogether. Each time the price came down for the added service.
* Very important — I was quoted less than ½ by another company and told that service was not necessary for my home.
Bottom line is I do not recommend them!

This review is for my inlaws Angela and Mike — they cant rave enough about these guys.
So they have been having a root issue for the longest time and the back ups are awful they spend thousands everytime there is a back up between the plumbing and clean up it addds up quickly and its chaotic… apparently they were able to replace the old pipe with a new one without having to break up there backyard which is all handselected stones
they lifted a few stones and they pull the pipe thru the old pipe? HA does that sound right thats what they told me, they were so excited because the new pipe is much more resistent to the roots and they are getting a good guarantee. They (my inlaws) even sent me the video inspection of the pipe after the install (not sure what the heck they thought I was going to do with that) Im glad they found a great plumber. they said they were proffesional up frnt, honest and very clean
when they finished they had there own mason that replaced the stones they lifted and you can not tell they did anything.

Miguel absolutely worked his butt off on my problems at home — suffice it to say I had a major backup! He went above and beyond the call of duty and used everything he had to solve it! The best!

Coincidentally, the same day we discovered a problem we drove past a truck on the freeway for Oscar’s Plumbing & Rooter Service, I took down the number and called them on Monday. I spoke with Oscar about what seemed to be the issue, he was very clear and informative. They were willing to come out that same day but, nobody would be home so I scheduled an appointment for the next morning.
They thoroughly checked the entire house and the simple rooting issue we thought we had turned out to be a partial main drain replacement. The gentlemen that came out, Steve and Gil, were also very clear and detailed about what they’d be doing, what they found, and the expense. I wasn’t home, so after explaining everything to my husband, Steve also got on the phone with me and re-​explained everything to me and answered all of my questions.
It was a two day job, all the prep work was done the first day and when I came home in the evening was pleased to see how orderly and clean the work was being done. Tarps were laid out below the piles of dirt, the deep holes were covered so nobody would fall in, a bright orange cone was set out, and all my potted plants had been neatly moved. And, our trash bins had been brought in!
I got to meet the guys in person at the end of the second day. Again, Steve showed me the various things he’d done, re-​explained it all, and answered some more questions. Everything had been put back in place. They were honest and upfront, respectful, informative, orderly, and thorough. We’ll definitely be keeping their card and calling them for any future needs (which I hope doesn’t happen soon) — and asking for Steve.

Second time using Oscar’s Plumbing and Rooter Service where I work and really pleased!
Jenny the dispatcher keeps us informed of whether or not the plumber is on schedule and headed our way (from the Valley to Santa Monica so you know how that goes with traffic).
Miguel is the type of plumber and person who makes it worth it to go with a smaller company vs a big one. He like other reviewers have said was honest, friendly, knowledgeable and prepared!
He brought with him extra parts just in case and ended up using them in the replacement of our leaky sink faucet in our kitchen. He took a look at issues with the plumbing and sinks in our men and womens room as well.
From start to finish Miguel worked efficiently and had a pleasant demeanor about him. It is so refreshing because most people kind of hate their jobs but you can tell he takes pride in his work and hopefully the team at Oscars rewards him for his great customer service and mastery of his craft!
They include a sheet of why they charge what they charge (which is not cheap by any means but is all legitimate costs for parts and labor). Oscar’s has a good team of 3 plumbers but ask for Miguel he is the best!

Miguel was very personable and up front. He came earlier than the stated time and completed the work within a couple of hours. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because Miguel didn’t initially check the problem that was reported (moaning sound when flushing toilet and using bathroom sink) nor did he check it after he was done. I did have to call him back inside as he was about to leave to let him know the sound was still there. He checked it out, and fixed it pretty quickly though at no extra charge. The work he initially did was part of the problem. I will definitely be calling them for future repair needs.

Oscars not only saved us $ 10k for a sewer line that DIDN’T need to be redone, but the plumber that came out, Miguel, was friendly, helpful, and completely honest. He could have easily told us that yes, we needed to have our sewer line redone and we’d have trusted him. Thankfully, he didn’t! We will ALWAYS use Oscar’s from now on.

In the midst of a plumbing emergency, (and aren’t all plumbing issues emergencies?) my «regular» plumber referred me to Oscar’s. Too bad for the «regular» plumber, because Oscar is now my regular plumber!
They were able to fit me in on a Saturday, were very friendly, yet still professional. Most importantly, they fixed the problem easily and at a very fair price. That said, when the original problem turned into a brand new problem on Sunday, Oscar himself came out to take care of it. When it turned out that the problem was something beyond Oscar’s scope (this was a dishwasher that needed an authorized technician) Oscar was honest and told me he couldn’t do the work. Besides that, he was extremely fair and didn’t even charge me for the second visit.
I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!

I never thought that this would happen but it seems i am hiring out my Unilocaling services… to my dad. Come to think of it, it is kind of cute that my dad came to me and asked me to Unilocal this business. Seems like I am famous around the homestead.
Anyway, my parents needed some plumbing done on one of their showers and my dad called Oscar’s to come root for them. They said that they would be there in between 1:30 and 3pm and damn it, that is exactly when they showed up. The plumber called a few minutes before he got to the house to tell my parents that he was in the area. My dad said that he was very pleasant, worked hard and ended up working on two showers instead of just the one (apparently the B. family plumbing needed some extra work. We’re a hairy folk). Anyway, the plumber worked hard and got the job done. The place was pretty cheap as far as plumbing goes as well. That is good for my dad; he can use that extra money to pay for my Unilocaling fees.

We’be used Oscar’s several times over the years and have never been disappointed. They are always so friendly, prompt and professional! I would recommend them highly for any residential plumbing needs you might have!

I picked Oscar’s from the previous two reviews and I am soooo glad I did. They were right on time for my emergency needs, fixed the problem quickly, gave some requested advice, and with no muss left the house better than when they got to it.
