They are very responsive, even answering the phone personally at night, so I recommend them if you need a plumber quickly. I’ve used them for a major pipe leak under my house (an emergency — and they did outstanding work for a great price), a broken toilet (regular job, quick and very affordable, done and replaced in an hour), and most recently the replacement of my 12 year old hot water heater (an emergency — — for which I definitely overpaid since I didn’t have time to negotiate or do proper research on what it should have cost, but the work was good and I was in a jam). They take pride in and stand behind their work.

Very poor business that does not do what they say they are going to do and they completely disregard contracts. The owner is just this side of a criminal.

Amazing! This time I called on a Sunday night. I thought I would get v/​m but someone picked up and was able to send a guy out the next day! They sent «Uresh» to check on my slow drain and he found that it was just the screen that needed to be cleaned out. He showed me hoe to do it, didn’t charge me, and gave me an honest assessment of what needs to be done and also how soon. I would not think of using any other plumbing company but these guys. And they are the only workers who come to my house and always wear the paper slippers! They are great.

B-​E-​W-​A-​R-​E-​! The most unprofessional people I have ever encountered. Stephan, the owner, barely speaks English, so beware of argumentative phone conversations…
Everything started out great and professional seeming. They sent someone out right away, the issue was fixed the same day, fair price, etc. BUT next day the toilet seemed a little abnormal. It was running continuously, even though it had never really done that prior to the service… ONE WEEK LATER, the toilet started clogging and overflowing out of nowhere?!
I immediately called, because the service man had mentioned that there was a 30 day warranty on service… But for some reason they decided not to honor any warranty.

I have nothing but good things to say about New-​Pipe Plumbing & Rooter. They were able to fix my issue with old pipes and were very professional and courteous. I received a free estimate and they held true to that estimate. I can’t say good enough things about this company. I have been ripped off my another company plus they lied several times. I will be using this company for all my plumbing problems. I will be scheduling more work that needs to be done with them. No longer will be using the smell good company!!! This company goes above making the customer number one. Can’t say ENOUGH good things about this company. I will refer to all my friends and neighbors!

Awful! They sent a guy named Frank and he was the most unprofessional man I have ever met!
When he first arrived he said he was down the street sitting in his car waiting for about an hour because he wanted to give me time… I did not need time! I needed him to come in my house and fix our problem. He continued to go in circles, redundantly testing the same things. He then proceeded to say that he needed to leave and get more materials before he could come back and fix our issue. He left for over an hour and returned with no new materials! He said he had decided that there was too much traffic to get to the warehouse and back so he just didn’t go! Did not fix anything after being at my home for 6 hours the first day. Left tubs of water that were leaking on my hardwood floor over night!!! Came back the second day and managed to arrive almost an hour late! He worked for about an hour and then said he had to go get more supplies… He had already been at my house for six hours the day before, he should have known what supplies he was going to need. After a few hours I started to get extremely frustrated and when I confronted him and asked him what was taking so long he simply rolled his eyes and walked away. I went back up to him and said I am going to go ahead and cal your boss and see if this should be taking so long because you have now managed to be at my home for two days and a total of 11 hours and nothing has improved. NOTHING! After that remark, instead of continuing to work and at a faster pace he managed to pack up his truck and refuse to work any longer. I called the company furious and they managed to send the owner of the company out to oversee the rest of the job. Within an hour of the boss showing up he had managed to complete the task he had said would take several more hours.
The audacity of that man Frank though, so rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. If you choose to use this company do not use him.
I had this issue on ⁴⁄₂₀ so I can probably attribute him waiting in the car on the first day and leaving for over an hour to get «supplies» to him celebrating the holiday.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a company. Stephan was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I had a leak in my sink. They sent a technician out, Victor. He offered me a lower price if I paid him in cash (around $ 200). I did so, but the next day my faucet was leaking again.
I called the company and reported this issue. Apparently this technician did this job behind the company’s back. I spoke with the owner Stephan. He came out and examined the job that victor did. He told me he was going to fire Victor. He said he would come back and fix the job later. But then when I tried to get a hold of him the next day, he turned the entire situation around on me and said that I was to blame for «going behind the company’s back.» He was extremely unprofessional and yelled at me over the phone. He was a very unsophisticated individual and I never want to deal with him again. I am out $ 200 and they didn’t fix a thing. On top of that, owner Stephan had the nerve to blame the situation on me. I had no idea that this Victor character would not tell his boss about the job on me house. I was only guilty of being naïve. After the whole ordeal, i received several harassing phone calls from Victor– because he was fired. It was insane. Never use this company!!!

Moved into my house less than two months ago, had back up issues with both bathrooms-​toilets/​showers. Last Friday night showered and toilets wouldn’t flush and sewage backed up in other bathroom tub! Major mess-​called New Pipe Saturday and they showed up late afternoon and cleared out everything and worked till 7pm on a Saturday. After showing me the camera Victor explained what needed to be done – the main line needed to be replaced which involved drilling out ½ my driveway and hand digging down 20 feet! He came back Monday with two other guys, went to the city to get a permit. City came out and decided we also needed sidewalk dug up to match the pipes! Major mess of a job, not to mention very expensive $ 21,000.
I ran all this by a contractor who i’ve done alot of work with that I trust 100% and he told me everything in the contract was correct, and the price was right. Victor and his crew worked here everyday this week, Monday-​Friday from 9a-​5 or 6pm. They got it all done today and even called a concrete guy for me that will fix the driveway tomorrow. I cannot say enough great things about Victor – very nice guy and for something that was stressful for me, he kept me calm explaining everything along the way! Very hard, honest guy!

I am utterly upset at this company taking advantage of an elderly person. Your estimate was outrageous and to charge an enormous amount for an estimate is CRAZY. You should not take advantage of people and the estimate money should be refunded, if not all 75% of it should go back to her. You don’t deserve any stars.

I’ve used New Pipe Plumbing for several issues, the last of which was a relining of my main drain to the city line.
They did a GREAT job, were quick, and gave me a decent price.
I have a home warranty that necessitates that I use the warranty plumber for issues covered by the warranty, but I have called them several times for feedback on issues that they were not going to do the work for. New Pipe Plumbers are my go to guys,
I trust them.

This plumber exceeded my expectations above and beyond. First and foremost he was knowledgeable, professional, and got the job done right. He came early on a Sunday and was very friendly and courteous. He clearly is in the business because he loves to help others. I highly recommend the company as he represented them superbly and recommend if you choose this company you ask for this very guy to get the job done James W.

BEWARE of these guys — came out when I had a water heater problem, gave me a quote of $ 700 for a parts replacement or $ 1,600 for an entirely new water heater. They were so slow at drawing up the quote I had time to check Sears website and realized how over priced this was — when I asked for explanation of what the labor portion would be it was lame excuses. I didn’t move forward THANKFULLY because what the issue turned out to be was that my gas had been turned off to the house with my earthquake monitor — plumber never even checked that as a first clue. Felt used, overcharged, lied to and taken advantage of. High praise for the SO CAL Gas guy who figured it out in 2 min. Sorry I have given them other work, they were here three weeks ago and was charged and arm and leg, and now question that as well.

Beware the bait and switch $ 59 rooter special. I had a clogged tub drain and became suspicious when the plumber was acting like it was difficult to snake the drain. It became an hour and a half ordeal with checking the pipes in the basement and doing the camera thing. He told us that it couldn’t be snaked because the pipes were too old. Than he spent 20 minutes in the truck working up a repair estimate. Now get this– $ 2500 to install a new drain, P-​trap and 8′ of 2″ ABS line to the main. He said that it would require another man that he’d go get along with the parts. When asked how long it would take he said a couple hours. When we stated that we just don’t have any money the price than came down to $ 1500. I don’t feel like I should have even paid the $ 59 for rooting that did not solve our problem but did and sent him on his way. I should have called our regular plumber first but there was confusion that he did not do rooter work. I called him and he was out in 20 minutes and within 10 minutes he snaked that drain clear and told us that all the pipes in the tub drain were fifteen years old and no problem. I am considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Came home late on a 95* day and toilet was backed up again.
New-​Pipe was able to get someone here within the hour!
James W. was courteous (covered his work boots to protect floors!) and extremely helpful. Gave some great advice on how to avoid issues in the future and offered to do a video check on line to the city sewer at no extra charge. Said we’re probably good for another 100 years at this old house! Honest and super fair price.

Job consisted of the complete replacement of a 1920’s era sewer line that served 5 buildings. Total run approx 200′. Most of run was under asphalt driveway. Job took from Monday morning to Friday evening exactly. Most of buildings were rental properties. Victor Torres, the job foreman was able to describe with accuracy what would happen on what day so that this information could be passed to tenants and cause minimal inconvenience. The job was originally quoted at $ 13k+ for most of the run to where original cast iron met ceramic and had dislodged, disabling video scope. when final hookup was completed, it was obvious that ceramic had to go too. Last 40′ of pipe burst quoted for $ 7k+ and accepted. Total bill $ 21,100. Zero hassle, great communication from Victor. Good work practices and morale from crew. Good cleanup. Very happy.

The five stars is for James, one of the plumbers. He’s been in the business for 34+ years and definitely knows his stuff. Even though there was some miscommunication between him and management, he handled the situation with only us in mind. Great service and great work – not much more you could ask for.

The worst disaster a home can have is when sewage pipes break. Toilets, showers, sinks cannot drain unless there is a clear flow to the main sewage pipe. Nothing is more gross than raw sewage flooding up through toilets and flooding into the house. In my case, the toilet in the full bath caused a chain reaction so two toilets flooded up. I called a major name plumber (NOT New Pipe) who charged $ 1,250 to clean up and disinfect the bathrooms and snake out the toilets. The toilets were too clogged to be cleared. They charged $ 1,000 alone basically to mop and dry the floor and disinfect. They then discovered the iron casting pipe under the house leading to the outside was broken and leaking. To replace about 6 feet with ABS and to install an overflow «clean out»? $ 6,000 +
That’s when I decided to get another estimate. I called New Pipe. Although it was Sunday and his day off, Billy came out to survey my situation. Their estimate for the same work was $ 800. How can there possibly be such a discrepancy in price? Well, in case you haven’t heard, there’s a lot of corrupt contractors out there. See Adam Carolla’s new show «Catch a Contractor»
Upon further inspection using video cams snaked through pipes, Billy found two more pipe breaks. One in between the two toilets and one in the clay piping leading from the house, under the ground, to the main in the middle of the street. (the house was built in 1953 when they used clay pipes which roots can easily penetrate and destroy). A four foot trench needed to be dug in the middle of the front yard. Here it was discovered that my huge magnolia tree sent thick roots that grew to occupy the entire pipe. The only way to solve the problem was to hydro-​jet the roots. Fortunately, New Pipe invested in this super hi-​tech hydro-​jet machine. Then another hi-​tech service was able to drill and install new ABS pipe lining — 40 feet altogether. The standard cost for this is in the thousands of dollars. I’d hate to imagine what the first plumbers would have charged.
The bottom line is, Billy and his excellent crew were able to get this massive nightmare job done in two days — a job, after reviewing standard plumbing rates for doing the same work — would have cost over $ 14,000. I had no idea how expensive such a major plumbing repair could cost. But they worked with me, knowing i’d have to beg and borrow the money and go into debt and I was given a huge discount. I shutter to think what the first scammers would have charged me. On top of all that, the new toilet I purchased from Home Depot was defective and missing parts. Billy agreed to return when I exchanged it and replace it free of charge.
I cannot express more how honest, how professional, how courteous and how reasonably priced New Pipe Plumbing is. Thank God I found them and I recommend them highly.

Called this company, spoke to an operator, explained my plumbing issue in detail to her, arranged for one of their plumbers to meet me at my house between 1−3pm today.
I waited around all day, no plumber, no call. At 3:15, I called to ask where the plumber was. The operator told me a plumber would call me back. Fifteen minutes later, he calls, claims that there was no record of me needing service today, then asks me to explain our plumbing problem to him again. I told him that I definitely scheduled the service for today and he said, «Oh. Then I guess it was someone’s mistake. We can maybe send someone out tomorrow.»
I told him not to bother and that I’d seek out another company that actually cares enough about their potential customers to actually keep track of their scheduled appointments with them.
Based on other reviews here, I knew I was taking a risk with these people, but I gave them a shot anyway. Not cool!

Beware when dealing with this company. Classic bait and switch going on here with the Unilocal coupon. I called to get my sink unclogged and was told it would be $ 125 worst case scenario. The plumber gets here to look at the job and ends up quoting me $ 255 for the same exact job I was initially quoted at $ 125. I hate wasting my time with businesses like this.

Over priced, Poor communication, no free estimates etc etc etc
I should have never tried them when I have a guy that is good and inexpensive. But I wanted another estimate and presto «bad decision 101».
I see a couple of good reviews wow either you got them on their best day or I did… based upon what I dealt with, sensed and now know me thinks I got them on their best day… and their best is no bueno. NO THANKS!
