I received a flyer by mail from this agency. They insured my duplex in Burbank.
It did save me money so I went to the facility to talk about my personal insurance.
They did my personal and umbrella insurance coverage.
This was a very classy office with hardwood floors and insurance plaques representing their companies.
This place has been in business a very long time and know how to take care of business!

Horrible customer service by Jennifer! I wish I could give her zero stars if I could. Long story short, I was told she was charging my credit card for my one month premium since I never received the automatic draft form in the mail. She charged the card what I thought was for one month and it ended up being for two months. I called back to rectify it and she was extremely rude. She said I’m sorry I forgot to tell you, I assumed you knew. She refused to refund me, and said i can cancel the payment but my insurance would cancel to, forcing me to have to drive down to the office to sign up all over again due to her mistake. Like I have that kind of time! She was rude and defensive, and then lied about it to her supervisor, in which they both called me a liar essentially, saying I was notified of the extra charge, which I wasn’t and have email proof of this. This service is horrible! I ended up disputing the charge with my bank since giving me a partial refund was too complicated for them. This is no way to treat a customer of 4 years, and me and my entire family will be shopping for new insurance asap. And she refused to answer my email about why my rates are going up, despite having no accidents on my record. STAY AWAY!

My mom recommended me to get insurance here and it was all done by phone. I never even had to go into the office. EASY PEASY! Then the lady on the phone offered me $ 25 if I send my boyfriend to get insurance here. It was an awesome experience. I would recommend this facility for all your insurance needs.

Steve has done an amazing job handling my business insurance. It was really easy getting quotes and binding coverage. Steve was very knowledgeable about commercial insurance and got me exactly what I needed. And the rates were very competitive!

I have had 2 commercial properties insured with M&W Insurance for years. I trusted them so I had gone to the insurers web-​site and let them take automatic payments from my checking account. I never wanted to be late. When one of the policies came up for renewal I told Steve McNabb NOT to renew it. I even sent him a letter. Without my knowledge or authorization they renewed it. Not only that, they kept taking premium payments out of my bank account WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION! They took $ 3,500! When I caught them I called and asked «what are you doing and to give me my money back». I was told not a problem, we will take care of it. They asked me to sign a back dated cancelation request. I said why, I never renewed the policy! They said they would «take care of it». I got lots of e-​mail requesting documentation which I gave them. After waiting for nearly a month I demanded my money back. Steve McNabb sent me an e-​mail saying «

I’m taking over from here to try and resolve this matter. Do you have any documentation from 2013 that you requested not to renew with Travelers? And also, any documentation that you requested us to stop drafting your insurance payments?

I responded of course I did and I reminded of what I had already gone thru. His final solution was, he had referred the issue to Travelers Insurance, deal with them.
So I contacted Travelers Insurance and guess what they said and I quote «Please direct all question to M&W Insurance Services 16 501 Sherman Way #110, Van Nuys, CA 91 406». Now I was really upset. M&W didn’t care and neither did Travelers Insurance. So I filed a formal complaint with California Dept. of insurance. I also spoke to an attorney and he said «If M&W Insurance and Travelers Insurance took money out of your account without your permission to pay for premiums on a policy you did NOT authorize, that is fraud».
Please understand I have been in the banking and real estate industry for nearly 30 years. I have dealt with a lot of insurance companies. What M&W insurance and Travelers Insurance is trying to pull of is outrageous!
If you choose to remain with M&W or Travelers Insurance, make certain you do not sign up for automatic premium payments from your checking account. If you do, you do so at your own risk. This is definitely not over.

My family (husband, father-​in-​law, cousin) has been dealing with M&W Insurance for over the last 2 years and we’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences. We started off with simple auto and have now also branched out to home insurance as well. Vivian, our agent, has been kind, courteous, gracious, and extremely helpful breaking down & explaining the policies. We’ve never had that done with any other agent & decided to increase our liability insurance after her thorough analysis. It ended up costing us only an additional $ 7.00 a month with all the discounts, but in some instances we now have double the liability coverage. For that we are extremely grateful as accidents can happen at any time.
