This insurance is a piece of shit. Please do not get it for your car. I was a registered owner of my car and so was my mom. Therefore my mom went to get insurance for us but the stupid agent put my mom only on the policy, but I did not think it was a bad idea because I will still be a permissive driver, because usually that’s how it goes with other insurances because I did not live with my mom. But no. I get an accident which was a hit and run. Can you believe the fucking motherfuckers did not even cover my property damage and I had full coverage. They said that supposedly cause I was not a listed driver they do not cover it and I was like what the fuck! And the more confusing shit they excluded my dad because he was a registered owner of my mom’s car. I was like why the fuck would you exclude someone if you are going to exclude the whole fucking world from driving my own car. Anyways why they fuck did you not exclude me too because I was on my car’s registration, why didn’t the bitch do her job and add me to the fucking policy. Like are you dumb? Its my fucking car. My mom is not driving it all the times. My mom even asked her my daughter sometimes drives her car and this bitch ignored it. If she knew her stupid insurance policies that bitch should have added me in the policy. I am going to sue the shit out of them because their policy is fucking confusing. My mom only got a fucking declaration page not the policy book so how the fuck would she know. Also my mom does not no English so I am pretty sure they took advantage of her. Trust me these assholes just want your fucking money and do not want to pay up. They even have this stupid policy that if someone not listed in you policy parks your car in the street and everything is fine and the next day you see your car crash because some dib shit crashed it they are not going to cover it because the person who parked it was not on your policy. The only thing they cover because California law makes them, but if they didn’t they would not pay up either, is liability. If someone is not on your policy but hits someone else, these motherfuckers would pay the other party but not fucking fix your car. Please do not get this insurance they are fucking cheap assholes and their agents are fucking confusing. What kind of fucking insurance only gives the declaration page but does not give the policy booklet???

I filed my first claim with Century National after 15 years for water damage from a leaky toilet. Their claims adjuster made every excuse to blame us for the leak and would not cover the claim.
After reading other reviews, there seems to be a pattern of denials for water damage. So all I can say is BUYER BEWARE!

Century National Insurance Company on Sylvan Street in North Hollywood is definitely the worse. I have had water on and under my lalminate floors for over a month. They will not return my calls. Called the supervisor an also never got back to me. Now just called the main guy John Tusman (?) and didn’t hear from him yet. I guess this claim is going to the Insurance Commission.

The worst company on earth. Don’t file a claim because they will make your life MISERABLE. They scam you, ignore your concerns and they are in kahoots with their own contractors to jack up the prices. The adjusters are RUDE, CONDESCENDING and DISHONEST! They do business their way not the fair way. Get a new insurance company and don’t deal with these unethical mafia type people. You WILL lose in the long run. The State of California Insurance Fraud Division needs to investigate CNI because they are scammers. We are wise to you and the LAW will catch up with you soon!

Has anyone had century national for car insurance? If so, did you get a good rate? How was your experience?

Horrible customer service, they DO NOT «strive to provide excellent service». After And set the phone down to talk to someone in the office I over heard him say «Fucking idiots», I really appreciated that. We have been with this company for 20 years and we got no help from them. we had a flash flood come threw our neiborhood destroying our front and back yard along with our AC and water pipes. it flooding into our laudry room and kitchen and had mud get into out air vents and they wouldn’t able to help at all? DO NOT GET HOME INSURANCE HERE.

My situation was similar to others with water damage. I’ve had this company for 14 yrs with a history of no claims. I contacted them to assess a leak behind my wall that showed mold. The plumber indicated the leak has been behind the wall for 30 days BUT Deana informed me my claim was denied due to the policy not covering anything more than a week although my policy states it covers mold which generally takes time to cultivate. Now, I don’t have X-​ray eyes and notified the company as soon as I saw the water on the wall. Similar to Stacey’s comment they even had the nerve to deny the claim and send me the plumbers bill. REALLY. I contact the supervisor Andy to discuss the situation and its 4 days later and still no response. I’m so disappointed and annoyed it’s time to move on to another company who appreciates customer loyalty

This company has the worst customer service, the rep Deena was so unhelpful and so unsure of what was happening. They sent cleaning crew to cover up mold evident and said there are no mold to save claims. Do not do business with this company.

I just called to get an auto quote. They didn’t ask for my information, all they asked was if I had any accidents in the last 3 years. I was then told that the company is picky and if there wasn’t accidents rates would be super high. It was a little frustrating that I wasn’t given an option to have a quote but told it would be too expensive and to wait until my accident went off my record and then call back. Poor customer service on their part because shouldn’t it be up to the customer to decide what is considered affordable to them?

We’ve had their homeowner’s insurance for about 8 years, and the rates were reasonable. Then one day our toilet overflowed and ran for hours, just after we completed a new kitchen and first-​floor remodel. The entire first floor was flooded with about ¾ inch of water. They sent out a restoration company that took charge of the drying and repair process. Everything was handled promptly and they covered everything that was damaged and repairs made things as good as new. The adjuster and customer service folks handled everything perfectly.

Was given this company from my mortgage company. Never had a claim before. I called in when we noticed mildew in the hall. They sent out a leak detection and said no leak. They claimed it was cracks in my tub causing the problem. It took 4 weeks to deny claim because I waited too long to tell them. They estimated water seeping through tub for three weejs. How could they have seen that even if it were true? I cant see into walls.
No one from Century National ever opened the wall. We patched the tub and recaulked faucet as advised by century national contract plumber. A week later the carpet was wet! I hired my own plumber to come out. It was the tub drain not seated properly. It had nothing to do with hairline cracks in tub.
I got a notice one week later asking us to prove we repaired tub. The next week our policy was canceled. I couldnt even order the new carpet (paid for out of my own pocket) as quickly as they are finding an excuse to cancel my policy. And it was NOT my tub. After spending money to fix tub, it turns out it was the drain fixture that had to be accessed through the wall! Did I mention they billed me for their leak detection and bad advise from their plumber.
Class action lawsuit anyone?

I have always found working with insurance companies to be somewhat challenging, Let’s face it… when you need an insurance company, its always during a difficult time in your life. We all have problems/​issues, that part of life can’t be avoided but when you find someone that can make this problem/​issue a little easier to handle, you want to share that. Century National is «that» company… the staff was attentive to my needs and was helpful with all concerns I had. Call backs were immediate and I was made to feel like I mattered, something that I think is lacking in this technological world we now live in.
Bottom line: Century National helped a difficult situation feel manageable and I greatly appreciate it.

I can’t say enough about how helpful the folks are at Century-​National Insurance Company. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and courteous. They answered all my questions, returned phone calls promptly and made the claims process so easy. They earned my trust which is something you can’t say about many insurance companies these days.

I had my car broken into. I had to claim the contents that were stolen through my house insurance. I had a good experience. They kept me informed about my claim as it was being processed. My claims rep. always got back to me in a timely fashion. He was professional and very friendly.

I wished they had an option to NOT give one single star, this vehicle insurance company SUCKS!!! I had a claim that took 3 entire months before they bothered to call an adjuster to take a look at my car. I would call almost every day and no one not even the manager would bother on contacting me. The rate it’s extremely high and not worth paying for. 1 000 0000x

Don’t bother waste of time and take your money.

Good morning! I would recommend that if possible you AVOID this company at all cost! I purchased a moblie home in Sacramento last March and the title company assisted me in getting coverage. We paid the premium and the insurance company was happy to have our business. I got up a few weeks ago on a Saturday morning and walked into my kitchen. The floor was wet so I immediately started looking for the reason of the wet floor. I finally turned off the cold water line and the small leaking sound stopped. I pulled the new floowing up to see if there was damage and put a high speed fan in the area to start the drying process. I called the home warranty company and got the leak repaired on Monday. I called the insurance company and made then aware of the protential problem and scheduled a time for their adjustor to come out and review the damage. He came out and wrote up his report and then the insurance company sent over a company called BULLSEYE LEAK DETECTION INC. They inspected the area and what I was lead to believe was to insure the leak had been repaired. This is another joke. They wrote a report and sent it to the insurance company that basically stated the lead had been there longer than 14 days so under the terms of the policy the claim was «DENIED»! The insurance company paid the other company for this inspection which resulted in the results that Century National Insurance Company wanted so they did not have to pay a single penny.
So if you are looking for insurance coverage that will be happy to take your money and then look for reasons not to pay a valid claim then this is your company. If you are looking for a company that will take care if it’s clients then I am recommending that you go to another company. I had to track down several people in the claims department to find out the claim was denied. Hope this helps and I would not spend another dime with this company!!!

Century national is the work joke of an insurance company I have ever dealt with. Its been 2 months since my claim and still nothing. Also the terrible insurance agent Diane or Diana in las Vegas is the only insurance agent in the las Vegas area.
If you want a good insurance company don’t get century national go for something else you get what you pay for. You would probably be able to go to school and get your licensing for an insurance agent before your claim gets settled with them!!!

Worst Insurance company I have ever seen.
Horrible claims response and customer service. They are eager to collect your premiims for years but when you dare file a legitimate claim they run for cover. If you use this company you are throwing your money away. I would have given them a zero if that was an option.
Look at the other similar ratings before you do business with this company.

After owning our home for nearly 10 years, we had our first loss/​claim in July of ’11. After putting us through MUCH grief and scrutiny, AND a scathing letter that claimed we were just trying to «remodel our house». We finally were able to have the work completed by January ’12.
You have to understand, I am leaving out soooo many details about the fight back and forth for how much they were willing to cover, and the extremely long wait to receive our checks, and meal reimbursements for the month of construction that we had no kitchen. We are DONE with them! Time to find a company that has the GUTS to list themselves with the Better Business Bureau. (and that has positive customer reviews)
What a lousy tactic: Let’s belittle our customers and give them less then the actual costs of materials and repairs. Oh– why don’t we also stretch it out in a seemingly endless amount of time?! That would be a hoot, wouldn’t it?
