Jorge is not a plumber I would ever recommend. The plumber I have used for years was not available so I had to take a chance with a new guy. The drain to the street was clogged and I needed it snaked out. My guy charges $ 75 to clean it out, Jorge charged $ 150, but because I was in a jam and had family visiting, I agreed. Jorge seemed like a nice guy when he showed up but before he even started working on the drain he was already talking trash about my normal plumber. Then he bragged about how he will get it done right and then there was some more trash talk to my guy. Then he felt I should get a camera down the drain for another $ 150, nice try on the up-sale. After the job was done I asked how big the pile of roots were, but he had nothing. I thought that was strange because I always have a pile that comes out. The pine trees in my neighborhood gets into everyone’s drains and it’s a common problem on my street. But Jorge said he must of pushed it all into the main drain. Three days later, my plumbing was all backed up again so I gave him a ring. He said my plumbing was bad and he could do nothing for me unless I paid him another $ 150 to come out and run the camera. Well that was not going to happen and I had my normal plumber come out and fix it right. On hiring Jorge, I basically threw 150 bucks down the drain. And just an FYI, he now goes by Rooterbug.

Jorge is the best. I have been using him for more than 5 years, and I have always been 100%, completely satisfied with his work. He will often talk me through whatever plumbing problem I am having to see if I can fix it on my own for free. If the plumbing issue is too much for me, he comes out quickly, knows exactly how to fix the problem, and is always very reasonably priced. He has a great sense of humor and is always very warm and friendly. I have complete confidence in his work and will continue to refer my friends to him for all their plumbing needs.

Jorge is rude and condescending. We asked him to look at a leaky shower. He proceeded to examine all of our plumbing fixtures, not sure why. But he started commenting on everything. He did find a water pressure problem in our house. Which we let him fix purely because it was a big problem. In order to fix the problem he had to get parts, it took him over two hours to return. After he returned and started working he apologized for the delay, but he did another job during that time. Then he had to leave again to get more parts, said he would be about a half hour. However, he returned almost 90 minutes later. Additionally, with our shower, said the leak was from residual water in the fixture dripping out. I think I know the difference between residual water dripping for a few minutes and excessive dripping continually 24⁄7. He also bragged that he’s been doing plumbing since he was 19 and that he is in his 50s. However, when he looked him my toilet he was surprised to see a dual flush system, saying he’s never seen it before??? Additionally, my shower has a diverter to run two different shower heads. He also said he has never seen that??? You know, they sell those diverters at lowes, osh, Home Depot and most other plumbing supply stored. Ultimately, he fixed the water pressure and a loose pipe fitting. The loose pipe fitting was also fine before he touched it. He left the water main turned almost all the way off, so our sprinklers wouldn’t work. Plus our shower still leaks, it is not as bad as before, but it still leaks. Within 10 minutes of him being in my house I sensed a problem. I should have paid attention to that sense and asked him to leave. We know we will be needing a plumber in the future for some planned upgrades. We will be looking for someone else.
