Alonzo and team did an awesome job getting rid of termites at our house! Very nice guy and super efficient. He came out to inspect my house same day — last Tuesday. We signed a contract, he gave me bags for packing. He scheduled gas turn off for us, which required 48 hour notice. House was already tented Thursday by team of 4 guys (they work quick!), we moved our stuff out and another crew came and cleared house for re entry on Saturday! They even took pictures of the gas levels in every room — which was 0 and showed me the photographs because they knew I was super scared because of the baby. We also found dead flies and silverfish in the house — which is a good sign termites must be dead too! I really recommend them, they made this process painless (unlike other companies I called) and answered all my questions and we’re always available on text. Big plus — they were also cheapest of 3 estimates. I’ll be signing up for the green bug service with them too.

We called Blackout when we noticed we had a termite problem last summer. I was pregnant and needed the service to be done without using harsh chemicals. Alonzo came by to inspect the home. He was timely, friendly, and knowledgeable. He checked out home thoroughly and showed us what and where we needed to have the treatments done. It was great to have our problem taken care of by someone we trusted and without the inconvenience of being tented.

My employer has hired Blackout numerous times to treat anything from single family homes to multiunit apartment buildings. The attention they provide is amazing. They see things most vendors do not and they take care of their work in a professional manner. Every time we have used their services the tenants and owners could not be happier. From termite, general pest spray, and unfortunate situations of rodents, Blackout was extremely prompt and thorough with their job. He arrived on time right at the beginning of the window time and was very professional. Michael, was very professional and thourough. He cleaned up everything after the job was completed and left the work area neat. We were very pleased with the professionalism of this company. Will use them again.

This company came out to service our townhouse complex. They worked hard, were clean and tidy, the replacements look great, and mostly they were very nice and accommodating. The gentlemen gave up their lunch break so my housesitter could leave sooner, saying they would take lunch later. We were impressed by how fast they completed the job in the individual unit and within the complex.

Blackout is the one to call for any termite issues ! What they found in the house were drywood termite swarmers. After having 4 estimates from other termite companies, Blackout was the only company that can give 4 years of warranty and an option of no move out treatment of house (tenting). That tells you that they stand behind their work. None of the companies out there can match that kind of warranty. The price is impeccable compare to those of others!

Black out was professional and courteous.
We called them when our landlords off brand pest control «company» wasn’t really doing the trick.
Alonzo and his team explained what they could do for us and reassured us that the treatment was safe.
Needless to say, since Blackout regulated on them little nasty bugs, we haven’t had any late night kitchen visitor surprises.

They showed up on time, right at the very beginning of the window of time I was given. Alonzo was professional and courteous, and even put up with my crazy dog who tried to chase his flashlight. I hired blackout to get rid of my drywood termites. their prices compared to Terminix is phenomenal. It was about half the price Terminix was trying to charge me. I would highly recommend them. I I tore open some studs in the wall and found freshly dead termites. Only then I was satisfied seeing them dead! The one thing they can improve on, in my experience would be customer service. Alonso was really nice and courteous but had a little trouble call me back in a timely manner in my opinion. Could be that he was a little bit overwhelmed with work which is understandable but I would recommend them to maybe hiring a little bit more staff to help them out. Other than that it was a well experience dealing with them and would recommend them to anyone.

Blackout Owner, Alonzo did a great job. I have a black widow spider infestation from years of neglect and lack of maintenance. There were spider webs and pods everywhere in the crawl space, in exterior door and window corners; everywhere to the point of spiders starting to come into the house. Alonzo removed the spider webs and used a high power sprayer under the house. His monthly service will continue to get the infestation under control. For a reasonable monthly fee, I now have peace of mind. I felt confident that he knew what needed to be done and did it. Thanks, Alonzo! I highly recommend Blackout.

I definitely recommend this business. I sold my house and got a termite inspection by another company through my agent. They seemed shady so I called Alonzo, he gave me a better price and saved me $$. Best of all he seemed honest and did not try to up sell on other things I didn’t need. Ronnie came on time and was friendly and professional. I will do business with them again. Oh they also moved my appointment to a Sunday because we needed to be in our house on the original date scheduled. Ronnie worked Sunday to help us out. Thank you all! Oh sorry forgot to mention they offered a 4 yr warranty where as the other company gave 2 yrs only.

Shopped around and got several bids. All the bigger name companies wanted some outrages amounts for the same work that Blackout provided at a much lower cost (and better value)! Alonzo was great and easy to work with. I found out that Blackout is a smaller family owned business and IMO, I felt that they took better care of me as a customers in comparison the other guys that came out. I was impressed by the crew that did the work and their workmanship. I will definitely be a repeat customer with Blackout.

I work for a mortgage company in Orange County. I called Alonzo at Black Out and set an appointment to meet with him at my elderly clients home in Valley Village. I did appreciate that he was on time, as it was a long drive for me. He was very courteous, professional, and took the time to explain what needed to be done. I had also set up an appointment with another company (I always get two bid for any work). The other company was a no-​show and then showed up the next day unannounced and did an inspection. I new the house was visibly in pretty bad shape with termites. What a difference in bids… Black Out was $ 5,400 LESS than the other company for the same exact treatment!!! When I called to schedule on Wednesday evening, they did the job on Friday morning. Impressive!
I WILL USE BLACK OUT FROM NOW ON AND REFER ANYONE THAT NEEDS THEM!!!

I used to manage an apartment building in Tarzana. I had a crazy germaphobic tenant call me on 4th of July freaking out about a mouse in his apartment. He was totally spazing out about it so I called a few pest control emergency services and black out was the only one available. Alonzo the owner showed up and inspected the apartment and found no evidence of a mouse whatsoever. They get 5 stars for showing up fast on a holiday and not trying to upsell. If u want a reliable, honest and effective pest control service I’d recommend black out.
