Brian was so helpful when I brought my 2000 GT Conv in for a leaky axle. He gave the car a good once over and found a few other small problems which he fixed and also installed some full length subframe connectors. He was honest, upfront and the work he did was affordable and done in a timely fashion. On top of that, he will also just hang out and talk cars with you. He will be the only one who will work on my Mustang. I will be contacting him soon about a possible No2 kit and a tune.

I was able to connect with Brian and he helped me tremendously! I only wished I had gone to him sooner.
Brian was really helpful in identifying everything that was wrong with my Mustang. He was even flat out honest, which I respect 100%. I’ve been around mechanics my entire life, and it was nice to work with one that reminded me of all my dads long time buddies.
My clutch now drives like a dream! Makes feel really dumb for not switching the cable two years ago when I purchased it.
The only downside is the response time. It’s hard to get him on the phone. Once you do, get his email! Makes things a lot faster.

I have been around cars all my live. I am 68 and have build many small block Ford Chevy motors. In 2010 I build a 1995 331 mustang with NOS. The best tuners in Mi couldn’t get the car from hang idle. We sent the car to Ca 2013 and with 91 octane the car had many more issues… I am very happy that I took the car to B&DRacing. The car runs great. Brian and Mason know mustang. I wouldn’t dream of doing business with any other performance shop.

Bad service. . If your car needs to be repaired under warranty you better hope there open. I had to wait several weeks for them to replace a part under warranty. They say they use Motorcraft parts only and that also is not true. they sold me a tfi and cheap distributor that’s gone out several times .last being Dec 20 2014 I called them twice and left a msg bc it’s still under warranty and never received a return call.

I waited a month since having B&D work on my ’04 Cobra to write this review just to make sure everything was still holding up. I’m very happy to say it is! Before finding B&D I only trusted one person to do the heavy-​duty work on my car, an SVT-​tech friend in San Bernardino. I live in Santa Clarita so it was not exactly convenient for me to get the car to him but I did because that’s how picky I am about my car. He has since gotten a better job with the city and while I’m super happy for him, I was very sad for me and my car.
Then someone asked me why didn’t I try B&D? I remembered seeing a foxbody at LACR quite often with a B&D sticker and my friend Pat telling me «that Brian over there, he’s an okay guy. He has his own shop.» Now, if you know Pat, you also know that if Pat thought someone was okay, that was really saying something. I double-​checked on Unilocal just to make sure Pat’s instincts were correct and it seemed that they were.
So I dropped my ’04 Cobra off with one simple request… please make me love this car again! It took a few parts (new CF clutch, new Bassani SS catted-​x & catback [which replaced an old worn-​out, rusted and rattling Bassani SS catted-​x & catback], new MM SFC’s, bushings, plugs, etc.) and they even fixed a random irritating/​alarming «stumbling» problem I had been having for a couple of years which I had apparently given myself by not getting the connection between my JLT CAI and intake tight enough (which, btw, the B&D mechanic diagnosed after looking at the engine bay for all of 5 seconds).
Bottom line… I love this car again. I no longer view driving it as a chore I must occasionally endure just so the battery doesn’t die. You know things have gotten out of hand when you prefer driving your «daily driver» hybrid (don’t judge, it never needs to be smogged) over your supercharged Cobra! Well, no more. Cobra-​driving day is once again a joyous event!
The only regret I have is not getting the car in sooner.

This review has been a long time coming… I have a 2001 Mustang GT Convertible that I love and I am very proud of. B&D Racing are the only mechanics to even touch my car.
I bought the car from a guy who only went to B&D for work and I continued the tradition. They have put almost everything in the car… Hawk brakes, Ford Racing Intake Manifold, lowering springs and shocks, exhaust, cold air intake, throttle body, and gears. The full length sub frame connectors and strut tower brace are about to be welded and bolted on by them when they get delivered…
The thing about B&D is that they are straight shooters who are Mustang experts. Sure they cost more than your local guy but here’s what you’re getting: unparalleled knowledge, craftsmanship, ethical treatment, attention to detail, they stand behind their work and it’s done right the first time!
I plan to keep my Stang going at least til it’s 20 years old and will proudly display the B&D on my rear window til then!

I was referred to B&D by another Cobra owner in the business.
I have a 99 Cobra, purchased new on the east coast in 2000 when no Cobras were produced. For the next 13 years it’s been a daily driver around LA and Santa Barbara county. With 150,000 miles it was suffering from suspension wear and a number of other problems including a failing throwout bearing and deferred maintenance.
Brian patiently suffered through a number of long calls, offering sage advice and options. Until I thought about it I had not realized how much I was compensating for suspension wear, The failing throwout bearing would not wait much longer.
Brian also provided a lot of options and sage advice on various options. It was time to OH the diff which was farmed out to a great shop. He anticipated a lot of small things that needed to be done. Again options were explained.
When I did the test drive it was apparent a miracle had occurred before the car was out of the yard. The steering, shifting, clutch, handling are all far better than new.
There were no surprises in the billing, Brian had kept me in the loop from the start. It is not cheap but with the quality of the work it’s a bargain.

Had my 93 Cobra tuned and add-​ons put on by them around 5 years ago now. I must say that I’m very happy with the way my car has ran since. Brian really knows his business and it shows with the work quality that the customers get. They have a great deal of experience with these cars so they know what works and what does not. Highly recommend!!!

«My first review! I have been going to B&D since way back in 2003 with a 2003 Cobra and now my 89 5.0 coupe. Both cars are putting out about double their rated horsepower, along with some serious suspension and braking mods. They are the pros when it comes to fox body through current mustangs and I have seen cars get shipped to them from across the country for serious mods, restorations, and stand alone tuning because of their expertise. On expertise alone, there is no one like B&D.
These guys have been doing this for almost 20 years with a lot of long term, repeat customers like myself. Excellent customer service! This ain’t your typical fly by night bolt-​on shop!
If you can dream it, they can build it

Brian and Mason are the two mechanics I trust to touch my Mustang in the LA area. Even with my difficult setup they were able to assist me and point me in the right direction to get my car in working order. They installed my subframe connectors, fixed the welds on my Mustang II front end, addressed the issue with my throttle body and helped me understand what was wrong with the wiring in my car. They also gave me some ideas for things I might want to upgrade in the future. There is a reason these guys are always busy and in demand. Do yourself a favor and bring your car into them if you’re having problems or just want to install some more go-​fast parts.

Brian and Mason have done all of the repair and mod work on my car for years. They have always treated me right and gone the extra mile to make sure my car is running perfect. Thanks guys for 12 years of support.

I was given a 87′ mustang from my grandma with low miles, but had been sitting for awhile. I had many of the issues fixed but there was a problem with my Idle and surging causing my car to stall. I have been to almost seven different mustang repair shops and spent almost $ 3,500 trying to fix this problem. It was only when I found B&D Racing that my car was saved. These are the best mustang mechanics period and I have been to a lot. They fixed my car in three hours and the total was about $ 150 using no parts just there magic in tuning. When I picked my car up it was like they woke up a beast for the first time, it runs amazing. The guy’s that work there are very nice and know there mustangs this is the only shop I will ever take my car to. If you have a 5.0 or love your mustang and want it treated right take it to B&D Racing you wont regret it.
