Acura of Valley Stream

ZERO!!! On November 27 around 5:30pm I went to Valley Stream Acura to inquiry about leasing an Acura RDX 2016. We were assisted by Howard K. a Sales person. When we were talking about the price Howard assured me that the price he gave me was the lowest price I can get for this car. He assured me that ALL Acura’s offer the same price because it is set by the «Corporate» office. I asked for better price and he kept telling me he was unable because it is simply did not exist. In addition, I asked for free oil changes, since I got them with my previous car (Mercedes). He also told me that Acura does not offer. After going back and forth several times he gave me one. I agreed to the credit agreement because I believed that it was the lowest and best deal that any dealer can give me. I believed Howard and his finance manager Tony. The next morning, less than 12 hours later, I went into another Acura dealer, Island Acura. They immediately offered me the same car, same color, same ‘tech” package for less money. In addition, they were giving me a few free oil changes WITHOUT even asking for it. The sales person at Island Acura, John, called Valley Stream Acura around 10am and told them that I was cancelling the deal and I was going to pick up my $ 100 deposit. On my way to Valley Stream I called just to makes sure my deposit was ready and was told the money was in the safe and I have to pick it up on Monday when the manager is on duty. On Monday, I called Howard to tell him I was on my way and he said I WILL NOT get my deposit back and anyway they sent the money to «corporate». I asked for a manager and was transferred to Tony in the Finance Department but the call went to voice mail. I called several times and my husband also called several times only to be hung up on or transferred to voice messages. I sent emails to Howard and never received a reply. I called the «corporate offices» and they told me it is between the dealer and myself. The deposit does not go to the corporate offices. I am requesting my deposit back of $ 100.00. Their credit agreement was not as promised I received a lower price at another dealership within a few miles of each other. The deal was cancelled less the 12 hours after it was made. I have complained to the Better Business Bureau and this dealership never bothered to answer the complaint.

Disappointed to not receive the same service at all Acura service centers. As a previous customer of Acura of Huntington, I received prompt and excellent service on a regular basis. Most importantly, when I needed a loaner to be able to get to work or transport my daughter, I got one right away, causing the least interruptions in my day. At Acura of Valley Stream on more than one occasion they have not had a loaner vehicle available and have taken over an hour just to «diagnose the problem». Three hours in and I haven’t received an update.

My wife and I were between cars and we needed a new car as quickly as possible. We looked at a few dealerships but their leasing prices were too high for our budget. We saw Acura of Valley Stream and we decided to drop in to see how their prices were. Sunny Pasha pleasantly greeted us on the sales floor and was very helpful as he showed us around the cars. He never pressured us and gave us awesome prices for the TLX and the ILX. We left to look at other dealerships but with the prices Sunny gave us we had no choice but to return. Sunny went above and beyond to give us even better deals and even came on his day off to make sure we were taken care of. We had an amazing experience and we recommend this dealership to anyone looking for great value at awesome prices!

My husband and I had an Acura TL and decided we wanted to stick with Acura when our lease was over. We first went to another Acura dealership but the lease prices were incredibly high for what we wanted. We stopped by Acura of Valley Stream, not really thinking they could do anything better. Well, boy I was wrong. Sunny Patel was our sales agent, and not only was he able to get us an excellent deal but we were able to upgrade to an Acura RDX Tech AND stay within our price range. When we went to pick up the paperwork, everything was prepared. We were in and out within an hour. We are very happy with our new vehicle and the service we received!

Been coming to this dealership for the last 3.5 yrs, service. I bought my MDX 2011 from them, i felt i got a fair deal. The list of items that have failed on this car is small. Worst yet are items that in my opinion should not fail or brake so early on.
Entire roof lining began to sag at about 25k miles. It took 3 visits to dealer to fix. Last visit they got it right and i had to get a loaner because it was such a big job. Clips that hold the lining secured broke and so there was annoying noise over rough roads.
Rear window on right rear passanger has also failed 2x, at about 20k miles. Parts were ordered and replaced, my take is window is meant to go up and down. Window broke twice in a 8 month span. All the windows in car had to be oiled due to sqeaking.
When the part for the window came, it was the wrong part. So back to the drawing board on the window thing.
Plastics on stearring wheel broke, eventually falling apart. This is supposed to be a luxury car?
Today the LCD that displays air conditioning temperature on the 2^nd row stopped working all together. Also rubber seals on right side driver side is coming apart. Dealer checked it out, will order LCD on A/​C unit on 2^nd row but they question how and why it went out. To the point they kept saying they did not know if it was under warranty before they even looked and examine what was wrong. You begin to get the feeling that my warranty on this car is either about to expire or u have no warranty anymore. Truth be told my warranty is 50k or 4 yrs, which ever comes first.
So i know for a fact i still have about 2 more months of warranty left over on this car.
My current mileage is about is 43.5k miles. Low miles but lots of silly breakdowns that i was not expecting.
As for the engine and tranny no problems as of today.
So parts have bern ordered but as for the seal on the door they just glued it back on and i was told to let the glue dry… I joked with Mike the service manager and said «i have crazy glue at home maybe i should have done this job myself and save me time.»
Waiting on parts. by the way it took about an 1.5 hrs for them to just examine and figure out what had to be done.
I used to think Japanese cars were great but with my current experience one has to think it over. will i buy Acura again?
Last but not least, i get a free car wash. but it did not look like they did anything and if they did the windows were never dried up properly…

I just leased my fourth car from VS Acura. Steve V. always works to give me the best deal. I had a deal on the table for a Mazda SUV compatible to the RDX. Steve listened to my needs and got a deal done without the usual dealer runaround… We have all been there! In the end I leased the RDX for less monthly than the Mazda and minimal out of pocket. If you need a car give Steve a call because he is honest and loyal to his customers. He has been there for many years and I get the impression that he has a great rapport with the owner of the dealership.
Shopping for a car can be very stressful but it doesn’t have to be that way if you shop at Acura of Valley Stream.

I cannot imagine a more pleasant car-​buying experience than I had with Bob at Acura of Valley Stream. I was in the market for a used Toyota Solara, and I found one in inventory at this dealership. Unlike other dealerships where I shopped — where I was given a hard sell and a lot of pressure by salespeople who pressed me to take a financing option and who lied about what cars were still in inventory — Bob and his colleagues were 100% honest and lovely to deal with. I ran into traffic on my way to the test drive, and Bob stayed open late waiting for me. He picked me and my family up at the train station when we came to pick up the car and finish the purchase transaction. He gave me a fair price and then knocked a little off of it.
I’ve had my vehicle for two months now and it runs beautifully and makes me very happy. I took the car to Toyota for an oil change and servicing, and the mechanics there told me I had bought an outstanding car that would give me many, many years of good service. I was very grateful to have found Acura of Valley Stream.
Please know that nobody at the dealership asked me to write this. I wanted to do it of my own volition because it is seldom that I have such a good buying experience, and a car is big and scary purchase for me, so I was both relieved and grateful.

Can I give ten stars!!! I live in New Jersey, however, I unfortunately had a rare urgent service issue on my TL. Having owned several Acura’s problem free, I expected this was a major repair. As luck would have it, the vehicle had a very minor issue. The vehicle was repaired promptly, thoroughly, and with the care I have come to expect from Acura. I believe I owe this experience to the service consultant, Stephanie Pilc. She was understanding, responsive, and extremely helpful.

Would prefer to give ZERO stars. Service department is awful. Their costumer service is nonexistent. You would expect a certain level of professionalism from a premium brand but you will not find that here. I get better treatment at the ford dealer where i service my trucks. STAY AWAY.

Can I give zero stars! Went in here trying to trade in my Honda lease for a new tl and Mr. Watson basically told me my car was a piece of shit. I have the 2012 V6 2 door Honda accord with less than 12k. What kind of customer service is this? He was rude the entire time and was surprised when I mentioned I had a second car which was a range rover. Once I said that, his entire attitude change. I’ve never been so disgusted in my life. Did he just judge my wallet based on my vehicle! This dealership is a disgrace! Stay away!!!

If your looking to buy an acura, this is the place to go! This is my second MDX I bought from them, and the experience is always excellent. I’ve been shopping around and nobody beats there prices! There sales reps are very experienced and most of all polite. They don’t push, cheat, lie or kanive you! There service department is also fantastic! They are very accommodating. If your interested in an acura, give them a try… you won’t be disappointed!

This dealership will decieve you and rip you off. The manger’s name is mike. They will be smilling and pretend that they are helping you but they are not. I bought a TL that was 13k and it was ok the day of. However the next day heard a whisling squeekee noise from the engine while the car is cold. I gave it to acura service 3 times (no exagguration) and changed the belt and other stuff and it was never fixed. Then mike refused to do anything about it. My point is watch out and go over the policies. and dont let them sweet talk you.
