Muddy Paws Country Spa

We have tried numerous doggy daycare/​boarding facilities in the Valley Center and Escondido area and Muddy Paws is by far our favorite. I know that Jeb, our weimaraner baby, is always taken care of when we go out of town. And not to mention he is always soo tired when we get him home from the doggy daycare, which is also a plus! I would definitely recommend Muddy Paws to anyone who is looking for a home away from home for their fur baby!

Best local dog hotel and spa! As we tend to care and love our lil doxies as our four legged relatives it helps to know they are happy and well cared for while we are away on vacation or work travel. Last year our family went to Hawaii and used a pet hotel in Escondido, which left one of our senior doxies with a massive anxiety. It took us about six months to calm her and heal her acid reflex that came with the anxiety. This year our family reluctantly went on vacation because we didn’t want the same experience happen again for our lil one. So we searched and toured and to our surprise Countryside vet was just opening up a new wing, the Muddy Paw Pet hotel and spa :) so we gave it a try had a great experience!!! The staff was very helpful and understanding of our concerns and our dogs health and wellbeing. The hotel is clean with a huge well fenced front yard for the dogs to play in and do their business, etc… And best of all no more anxiety, whew! We have used them twice within a month and are very satisfied.

I would highly recommend Joe at Muddy Paws Country Spa for any dog training you may need or want. After just a few sessions with our young lab, our pup is so much more respectful with good manners! He is now a pleasure to have around inside and out. He is learning boundaries and limits and really enjoys his training time as well. A minimal financial commitment with years of good behavior for the future. It doesn’t get better than this!

Finally found the most perfect place for boarding and doggie day care! Gunnar & Layla spent 3 days at Muddy Paws and came home happy and clean. The facility is well maintained and the staff was caring and attentive to my babies. Also, their prices were very competitive. .Highly recommend!
