There comes a time in the life of every vehicle when service is no longer an option. After two weeks of squealing and grinding, my brakes had finally progressed to whistling. I knew there was something very wrong. However, I drive a lot for work and I had to be back on the road by 10:30am the following morning. I found Sonoma Auto Tech on Unilocal!and spoke to Terry who listened to my concerns about my brakes and my timeline, then not only did he schedule me to be the first repair the following morning, he gave me a ballpark estimate over the phone so I would know what to expect in terms of cost.
Terry and the guys at Sonoma Auto Tech totally came through for me. My car is once again safe to drive AND they completed the service (which turned out to be more complicated than anticipated) in time to get me on the road by my deadline. Plus, Terry identified a few potential issues to monitor.

Brought in my wife’s Audi Q7 for a rear brake estimate after receiving a quote of $ 850 at the dealer. I was quoted between $ 500-​$ 600 using oem parts and that if I brought the car first thing in the morning I would have it back the same day. The shop was open promptly at 8 am when I came to drop off the car and I received a call that the job was done by about 4 pm. My total bill was $ 560 for brakes, rotors and sensors. I was relieved I did not have to drive out of town to drop off and pickup the vehicle plus I saved some $$$. I am writing this review a month after the repairs and have not had any problems so I will definitely bring my other vehicles here in the future.

I was here last week, they changed my thermostat, the parts was original, the labor is what will get us all. But over all it was a 5 star. The owner was really nice. Thanks Z!.. Cons: waited 2 hrs.

Prompt… Friendly service (when I could flag someone down to talk to), they honored my coupon for a smog and oil change for a great price AND washed my car. I am giving it a 4 star instead of 5 because I wish the coupon stated that the tune up price stated wasn’t for all cars. I am still not sure why my car needs magical spark plugs that double the $ 49.95 price. but I still had a pleasant trip and will definitely return! Thanks guys!

They had to order my oil filter so it took about an hour for the oil change. Very good service and professional! I liked the price, also using the $ 5 off coupon. Will definitely go here again! I met «Z» over there.
