Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt

My first time here!!! I tried their original tart yogurt with swirl of cheesecake low fat yogurt. topped it almond nuts, granola, mocha, strawberry, kiwi, boba blueberries (this i love the most), cheesecake piece, etc… It was incredibly good! The place is charming with pastel décor and just cute =)…next time i have to try the Dole pineapple one!!!

I’m so glad Vallejo has a frozen yogurt place now. I used to go to Coco Swirl in Pleasant Hill all the time but now I don’t have to go over the bridge anymore!
This place has very unique flavors compared to the other froyos and has a bigger topping variety as well. The service is always great and they even offer to make fresh waffle cones if you want! You could even buy their flavors by the tub and they even sell ice cream cakes now.
It could get pretty crowded, since it is the only Froyo place in Vallejo, but it is well worth it. Might as well sign up for a point card because those points add up quickly and pretty soon you’ll get a free Froyo or a whole tub of a flavor of your choice (if they still offer that promotion)!
It’s never too cold or late for Froyo ;)

I saw Menchies as I waited for my Wing Stop to-​go order (they’re a couple doors down). The bright décor and lighting caught my attention. I walked in and was greeted by a couple friendly employees. Like any other self-​serve fro-​yo place, you pick up your cup, fill up on your choice of fro-​yo flavors and toppings, then proceed to the cashier for weighing and payment.
In an attempt to control myself (I was about to pick up some WingStop after all!) I chose a small cup and checked out the flavors. Then I saw the glory — DoleWhip!!! Pineapple-​y fro yo goodness without having to go to Disneyland or the Dole plantation in Hawaii! I totally loaded up on that golden deliciousness!
Then I walked over the toppings bar. The dry toppings were immaculate and well-​labeled. The refrigerated toppings (fruit, mochi, popping boba) looked fresh, evenly chopped and inviting. I added some mango, pineapple, kiwi, mochi and a touch of chopped almonds for some crunch.
Then the moment of truth — weigh in! I owed $ 5. That’s more than I normally pay, but I did go overboard on the DoleWhip. This fro-​yo/​topping combo was a fresh fruit flavor bonanza! I was very pleased. I definitely plan on coming here whenever I’m in town.

Not really a huge fro-​yo person but it really impressed me that their pineapple frozen yogurt was so good. I love pineapple anything and I’ve tried pineapple frozen yogurt at other places and was disgusted. It really comes close to the pineapple dole whip at pineapples in San Francisco. I haven’t tried any of the other favors.

Yummy frozen yogurt every time! Good toppings and lots of selections. Reasonable prices and sample cups to try before you buy. Best frozen yogurt place in the surrounding area.

Excellent FroYo spot! They’ve got lots of flavors, though not always the traditional frozen yogurt ones. Place is always kept clean when we come through and the staff is generally cheerful. Best part is that they’ve got sample cups readily available for you so you don’t have to ask for one. There used to be another FroYo spot here in Vallejo which has since closed down, and I’m so glad that Menchie’s took over! Another thing for you nutrition-​minded folks: there is nutrition information on each flavor’s label so you know exactly what you’re getting. I think we’ve come back here about ten times since Menchie’s opened, and I don’t see us stopping anytime soon!

Yahoo! I’m a fan. This is how a yogurt shop is supposed to be. Menchie’s has wonderfully erased my awful memories of the former disgusting Frozen Swirls that used to be located in the Safeway shopping center down the road. The freshly cooked waffle cone addition here is a real treat! You can smell it on the way in and it really gets you excited for the wonderful yogurt that awaits. Pretty reasonable prices considering the quality you’re receiving. Their toppings bar is well-​maintained and is always immaculately clean. Finally, a huge benefit is having your yogurt purchases tracked with your phone number, rather than having the old punch card system. Bravo Menchie’s!

Loved the overall décor and atmosphere of the place. It is a great addition for the plaza and for all the families and children to come here during the day and at night to grab some dessert and spend some quality time together.
Unfortunately, I was not impressed with their flavors when I went yesterday. Most of them flavors where chocolate and coffee themed so there wasn’t much of a variety. I was hoping for something like yogurtland where you had a mix of fruit based flavors as well as other flavors. Some of the flavors were also incredibly sweet. I would probably come by another time to see how it is after the flavors change.

Yum! I’ve never heard of Menchie’s before. If you’re familiar with YogurtLand, this place is pretty similar. It’s a franchise self service yogurt shop that sometimes has licensed promotions and flavours, which I think is cool. When I went, there was a promo for the Peter Pan movie. The place is clean and the employees are super friendly. There is a nice selection of dry toppings as well as fruit toppings that are fresh. Their yogurt labels have information on the Calorie count, whether it’s kosher, dairy, etc.
What I also love is that they are not CHEAP with the sample cups. I don’t mind and have been accustomed to having to ask for cups but this place just has cups laid out on a tray for you to freely use which is really nice. I’ve been to some lame places that will require the employee to make the samples for you or one that wouldn’t allow samples at all! A friend and I consequently got asked to leave when we were having a private conversation about how cheap that policy was. That place ended up closing down, naturally.
They have a rewards program where you can register your phone number. 1 point for every $ 1 spent and you get 25 points for registering your number online. Once you get 50 points you get $ 5 off. It’s the equivalent of a buy 10 cups get 1 free if you average at $ 5 a cup. It’s nice to not have to deal with stamp cards or apps, you can just give them your phone number, but it’s a lot quicker and cheaper for those who buy less than $ 5 cups to redeem through stamp cards.
There’s also a freezer that sells yogurt to take home as well as frozen yogurt cakes! I’ve never seen frozen yogurt cakes before! Another cool thing is that their waffle cone pieces are made fresh there and not too much is pre-​made at a time. There’s no special cost for the waffle cones, they are weighed just like everything else. Definitely on the top of my list of yogurt places I’ve ever been to!

It was a lot of people there but I got the biggest cup because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!! Frozen yogurt so i mixed flavors together and I added yogurt chips and strawberries & cherries on top but the for the 4 stars is because I got to the cash register and I had my big cup of frozen yogurt put it on the scale my toppings almost falling on too the scale but I caught it the cashier ask me if I would like a top and I’m like Duh!!! don’t you see all this goodness about to over flow he gets me a top but a dome top which would have been much better but he hands me a flat like soda plastic top and I say to him I’m going to smash all this frozen yogurt he says sorry they don’t have the dome lids for that size!!! WHAT!!! Lol!!! but the nevertheless the frozen yogurt was great

I love this place! It’s so colorful and happy, my ears perk up at the mention of Menchie’s! They have a great mix of tart and chocolate-​y flavors with all the toppings you could think of! They have a bunch of syrups too which are kept warm so they’re not too thick for your yogurt! On top of that, they recently started making cakes. Unfortunately I don’t get cakes often, but I might have to make an occasion for it…
My go to toppings are almonds, fruit, cheesecake, and mochi. They have a tendency to run low on fruit, but I forgive them because it always looks fresh. I’m surprised they can keep up with that demand! My favorite flavor is the Dole pineapple one because it reminds me of Disneyland, but the original tart and all their feature flavors have been great. I haven’t tried anything I disliked!
There aren’t a lot of chairs or seating, but it’s so nice outside, go eat and walk around! Not a big deal :)
Tips:
— unlimited sampling! You don’t even have to ask, there’s a platter of sample cups just sitting there
— everything is self serve so load it up! (47cents an ounce)
— get stickers. they’re cute :3
— I took one home and froze it, and ate it a little later. STILL GOOD.
— beware of gummy toppings, they can freeze and be less awesome than usual

I love this place. For a while I had only gone to yogurtland and a couple of obscure places around, but then came across this place while in Vallejo. I must say that I really enjoy their selection including there toppings. Pretty much all of my rating are based on that. I wish it was maybe a little more on the tart side, but I’m just being picky. This is my new regular spot.

I’ve been to many yogurt places around the nation and by far Menchies is the best.
Pros: clean, friendly, many choices
Cons: I ate too much

By far the BEST frozen yogurt I’ve had. Very yummy & fresh toppings! And the staff was super friendly!!! If you haven’t tried it out yet… You should! You will not be disappointed!
My favorite is French Vanilla topped with cheesecake bites!!! Mmmmm

This place was actually not bad, it might even be the best froyo in Vallejo. Clean place (so far) and friendly staff. Many toppings to choose from, and they even have different colored scoopers for things with peanut ingredients.
The one thing that is different/​cool is instead of the normal stamp card, you get points (smiles) for each dollar you spend.

How exciting that there is a good froyo place in Vallejo. On top of that the staff is very welcoming. As I walked in I was greeted and directed to how this place works. I already knew I wanted the dole pineapple but next to it was churro, which was equally as wonderful due to the cinnamon explosion. I decided I will get one today and get go back tomorrow! Win win.
The selection of toppings isn’t over the top but good enough, I suppose. No popping boba or anything of that nature. But I went to town with peachies and dole pineapple sorbet.
The rewards club thing is odd.1:1 but it’s like for ever $ 1 is one point. So when you hit 50 points I dunno what you get I was too tired figuring out the numbers beyond my sleepiness.
Furthermore, they have such a cute mascot!

Decided to stop in here the other night as I am a regular customer of the Panda Express right next door.
Great assortment of flavors, toppings & mix-​ins. I got their Dole Pineapple flavor which is reminiscent of a Dole Whip from Disneyland.
Even comes with cute, colorful spoons that can be washed & re-​used for kids & babies!
I’ll be back for sure!

This place made me have a smiley day.
First of all it’s open late till 11pm, the prime time to satisfy my fro-​yo cravings.
Second, the interior design has a circular set up. Truly one of a kind. It’s exciting, really.
And last, but not least, the yogurt is fire.

I like that there is a Menchie’s in the the Target plaza now and there is a froyo place in Vallejo. This place is setup to be easy to access the froyo and topping and there are chairs outside and inside for seating. I’ve been here almost everyday since it has been open. They do have a rewards program, so I suggest that you sign up with that if you see yourself coming here often and it works at every Menchie’s store.
They have different frozen yogurt flavors and change them almost every week. But I’d like to see that if there is a flavor that runs out during the day that they would replenish them because if they know it’s a popular flavor, they should have some in stock until they close which is either 11pm on Sunday to Thursday or 12am on Friday and Saturdays. The same goes for the toppings as well. I wish they would have mochi more as well as the cheesecake bites considering those are some of the favorites to put on frozen yogurt.
I do recommend the cheesecake, pineapple dole whip, and the vanilla snow. If you mix flavors such as dulce de leche and ice coffee, it’s a caramel macchiato. Cake batter is also a good choice as well. If you want something tart, go for the original or the green apple froyo. Any flavor is good there! I suggest if you don’t know what you want, there are sample cups to use so you can sample the flavors.
They have waffle cones as well which you pay by weight along with your frozen yogurt. You pay by the ounce which is around 47 cents an ounce* (correction, sorry about that!) The times that I have gone here, I’ve spent around $ 4 – 5 a cup which is not that bad for a froyo especially with the amount you get.
The owner is very friendly and nice to their customers as well as the workers. This is a place to go on a hot day during the summer!

Frozen yogurt shop in Vallejo!
They’ve only been opened since July 1^st but I’ve already gone twice. The shop is small, luckily I’ve only been when there were about two other customers. It can be a snug fit especially if if everyone wants the same toppings. Basically in the center of the store is the cash register. To the left towards the back is a table filled with bowls (for some extra $ you can get a bowl with a waffle cone) there are twelve flavors to choose from. I’ve gotten the mango and iced coffee– very satisfying :)
Next is the toppings. Your choice of nuts, fresh fruit, and/​or candy There is a decent selection guaranteeing someone will find their favorite choice. Syrups like Hershey’s chocolate, caramel, and Reese’s finish off the production line.
Price goes by weight. Now I’ve only bought two so far but the average price is around $ 6.50. And that’s with a generous helping of yogurt and the fixings!
Love that Menchie’s is here and that they opened up during summer. A fun option to cool down with.
