History

Established in 2000.

With beginnings as a mobile DJ, Brandon began his venture into web design when he used the book «HTML for Dummies» to build his company’s website. From those humble beginnings sprung a deep passion for web design. After practicing on his own site, Brandon perfected his skills creating websites for friends and colleagues, such as a book promotion site for a former college instructor. He honed his abilities doing pro-​bono design work for local non-​profit, Court Appointed Special Advocates for Solano County. He knew he had discovered his calling… a career which allowed him to utilize his creative talents while helping people & organizations who needed it most.

In 2012, Brandon decided to take his new pastime to the next level, obtained a business license, and Web Design by Brandon McCloskey was born. Business continued to steadily roll in through word of mouth referrals from happy clients. By the end of 2013 he had launched 16 websites with 5 others pending. He knew he was on to

Born and raised in Fairfield, California Brandon McCloskey has held numerous jobs from customer service, security, management, administration, and more. He holds a masters degree in criminal justice. Web design is a bit of a hobby for him and holds no specific training or certifications. Everything that he has done in web design has been self taught. Various programs such as WYSIWYG, Joomla, Drupal, and the like have made web design far easier then when he started out in 2000 when everything was HTML based. Back then when he owned/​operated his own DJ company and built the website for it using strictly HTML.
