So Lavish Salon & Spa

I would like to specifically give a big shout to April for doing a great job. It’s my first time to do a facial work /​make over. Never had one before the way she does it. So, I went to her nice room. Already, I love the smell of the aroma. The ambience is so calm, serene peaceful with nice music. Then she started working on my face. I like the fact that she was explaining to me every details of what she’s doing on my face as well as how each of those ingredients react on my skin. On top of that, the products she’s using are all organic. It was very soothing. I lost count on how many times I dosed off because she was really good. At times I might have been snoring (haha). She’s that good. The result, I felt like I have a new face, new skin. I was tempted to put my makeup on but I have to adhere to her advice. Now I’m hooked. I will definitely go back once a month to do this. I loved it.
Let me tell you though, those organic products are a little pricey maybe for some people but they are great. I told April that if I can spend $ 475.00 on a product in the past, I might as well spend it on these organic products which is much less expensive than what I paid. They’re worth it and safer to use.

Found this cute hair salon on Unilocal!Made an appointment with Kailyn to have a my hair done. Love the cut and color she did. I’m so excited to go back to her in 5 weeks. Thanks so much Kailyn for making me look fabulous before work!

I have seen April twice for my brows and she is absolutely amazing! I love how personable she is, and she definitely knows how to keep the conversation going. She is a very relaxed and down to earth person. Both times I have walked out with my brows done amazing. She even helps me choose products to help fill in my brows and tells me which color I should choose. I highly recommend April for your waxing needs.

I came in as a walk-​in, and luckily the client who originally had an appointment was a no show, so Kailyn took me in. I had a few pictures of what I wanted, and showed them to her. She knew exactly what to do!
Updated ombré and a haircut later, I walked out of there happy and with new hair.

I cannot say enough great things about So Lavish Salon & Spa and in particular Jessica. I literally fretted about picking a salon for 3 weeks until I finally settled on So Lavish. I was a bit intimidated going in. I knew I wanted to do something drastic. I knew it had been about a decade since I last colored my hair. The owner Jen suggested that I get in touch with Jessica, and I am sooo happy I did!
I discussed with Jessica a general idea of what I was looking for and she absolutely delivered. We went with a color melt/​ombré from my natural dark brown to a muted blond. These pictures do not do the color justice. It is absolutely perfect.

This is a updated review! So, after I posted my last review, I was contacted by Loana (I apologize if I spell her name wrong) who is daughter of the owner Jennifer. We discussed about my experience at the salon over the phone and she suggested to make another appointment with Jennifer (who is experienced color stylist and instructor as well) in order to fix the issues.
When I showed up next morning for my appointment, I was greeted well by the receptionist. Then, I met Jennifer, very humble and nice lady! Jennifer took a close look at my hair and agreed with the comments that I posted about my recent experience and promised to make my experience better this time! Before she began, I showed her the same picture of the hair color and cut that I wanted. The whole process took about 2 – 3 hours and I was waiting patiently to see the final results. Finally, when my hair was blow dried, I was super glad to see the color of my hair. Jennifer also fixed my haircut and made the layers even, made sure the color is distributed evenly and is actually what I wanted. I could not be more happy with the results — loved the color, loved the hair cut :) In the end, she also provided me some sample bottles for shampoo, conditioner and hair serum to try out! I also got the chance to meet her daughter when I was about to leave, who talked to me to make sure that I am happy with my experience this time.
If I have to summarize, Jennifer (owner) went beyond my expectations to provide me with the results I wanted. As I mentioned in my previous review, I do not want to say anything bad about Kaitlyn, it was just that my experience didn’t turn out so well. I made a followup appointment with Jennifer in 3 months and would love to see her again!!!

Kailyn is my Stylist! I recommend her to all my friends & Family! I really test her ability. She pulls through with what I want every time! I change my mind so often. I want something extremely different from what I had done from my previous visit. Each transformation of my hair doesn’t happen in just one visit. My hair is extremely dark naturally & any educated person knows it’s not reality to go from one extreme to the next in ONE visit. Kailyn is so patient with me and my indecisiveness. She always gets me to where I want to be with the less damage to my hair.
I have done a melting ombré. Kailyn blended the colors beautifully! I have done low lights, high lights, trims and hair cuts all with this gal! Nails It every time! I leave a generous tip so she knows how awesome she is & how much I appreciate her talents! Go follow her on IG! Girl friend does Amazing work! I rant and rave about my hair every time I get it done! I always look forward to my next appointment! I leave that Solan feeling refreshed and appreciated not only by Kailyn, also the owners!
P.s Who doesn’t love Mimosa & Girl Bonding! This solan is fit for a princess.

Lorna and Jen have restored my faith in So Lavish Salon since having my very unfortunate experience there back in April. Lorna contacted me the same day I had written my review. She was genuinely concerned about my experience and she listened to me explain the entire situation. She insisted on making things right with me and wanted to leave me with a good experience at her salon, not a bad one. I went in for a service with Jen and she was very sweet and so personable! I felt comfortable with her almost instantly, just as well I felt the same with Lorna too. Jen let me ask all the questions I had regarding hair and wasn’t bothered by my inquiring mind. Jen is very knowledgeable about hair which I greatly appreciated. Thank you Lorna and Jen. I see you two as a great team, and you make it your priority to make your clients happy and wanting to come back to you salon.

Clean and has a cute (and reasonably priced) boutique inside!
She not only listens to you but she is keeping up with the latest trends by taking continuing education classes. She just returned from a Los Angeles master class in hair care.
