We are a husband and wife team of licensed CA brokers, we specialize in first rate customer service. We pride ourselves on communication, loyalty and honesty with our clients and our tenants. We do not have set hours as we work as often as needed including weeknights and weekends. We differ greatly from your typical property mgmt company, all of our 85+ properties are our babies and we treat you exactly like we would want to be treated, we do not have employees, when you call or text you will always reach one of us.

We have a vast list of local resources at our disposal: handyman services, painters, contractors, lawncare and maintenance people to keep our properties running smoothly. We have a great rapport with our clients and tenants as well. We tend to attract quality properties which then attracts quality people and less headaches all around.

History

Established in 1995.

Professional Property Management was established in 1995 by Barb Foster. Barb has a long history of over 20 years in real estate in the Solano County area, and found the need to offer property management services to her clients. John Foster, Barb’s husband operated Professional Property Management for 13 years after his retirement from Travis AFB as a Lt Colonel. In August 2008 he decided to retire completely and enjoy the good life with his family. John’s clients over the years have been primarily military and his business succeeded by word of mouth and a dedication to helping Air Force families transition to Travis.

Jodie and Sandra Hymowitz took over John’s successful business and continue to maintain the commitment to great service John established.

Jodie Hymowitz has worked in real estate for 20 years, he continues to work sales as well as the property manangement business. He and his wife Sandra are real estate brokers operating the business from their home office in Vacaville. Sandra is prior military having served in the Air Force at Travis AFB and really enjoys helping other military families make the transition to Solano County. They have two elementary school children, Ava and Aidan.

My wife and I met Joe and Sandra Hymowitz when we first came to Vacaville more than 15 years ago. On many occasions over the years, we have used their professional real estate services. Most recently they assisted us in selling and purchasing a home. They were both very accommodating and prompt at taking and returning out calls. Not only are Joe and Sandra friendly and professional but they have integrity, knowledge of the business and the local area and understand how to properly run a company, which is hard to find these days. Over the years, I have come into contact with numerous people that use or have used their services and have never heard anything negative. Additionally, Sandra is a USAF veteran. Since I am a veteran myself, this goes a long way in my book when it comes to choosing who I want to have help me. If anyone is looking for a rental or wants to have them manage a rental property, Professional Property Management is the company I would choose first.

Jodie & Sandra are great! We rented from them when we first moved out to California as a brand new military couple. We spent a huge amount of time looking for homes online and I can honestly say I believe they have the nicest homes for the most reasonable prices. They work regularly with military clientele and are very knowledgable about the area. They are friendly, respond quickly when needed, and definitely take care of their properties and it’s obvious. We rented not just one home from them, but TWO over the span of our stay in California. If that isn’t a personal recommendation, I don’t know what is!

Jodi & Sandra take «customer service» to entirely new level. I had the privilege of working with them after I purchased an investment property. This property was my first. I knew very little about what to do or expect. They had awesome suggestions, assisted with finding wonderful tenants, brought me up to speed on various city codes and took no issues with showing the home to people at random hours of the day. Their passion and dedication for what they do make it easy for me to say to everyone… I highly recommend them. Moving forward for any home purchase or rental need, I will only use Professional Property Management. Jody was a great property manager for us before he sold our house for us. He did a fantastic job as both. Jody sold us a home in 1995, so we knew who to call when we had to put our home on the rental market. They took care of the problems that came up with the house quickly and efficiently.
My husbands company has employees moving into the area at times and we will always recommend Jody. In fact if we ever move back to the area we won’t look far for a realtor. They are the best!

Picking the right property management company for a house rental can be a huge ordeal, especially for families who already have enough stress on their plate when they’re preparing for an out of state move, or for military members like us that are PCSing (permanent change of station). But all of our questions and hesitation as first-​time landlords were quickly put to rest the moment we met Jodie and Sandra. They’ve been in the business for 20+ years, with almost half of their clients being affiliated with the military. Being a two-​person company also gives them the edge over others, as they’re more selective when taking on clients so they are able to provide a more personalized service.
Our first meeting was pretty straightforward. Both of them were pleasant and very knowledgeable. They communicated well in terms of contract agreements. Their fees are also very competitive, and of course they would not charge you until they fill vacancies. Sandra maintains the company website where they advertise the property with detailed descriptions and photos. They also utilize AHRN, a housing military network website so it has maximum visibility for military members looking to relocate to Travis AFB. They actually found our tenants, who also happened to be a young military family relocating from overseas through ARHN (and within 1 week of posting the ad!)
Whenever people asks me about my property managers, I always tell them, «Outstanding. I almost never hear from them.» I say this because they don’t usually bother me with the small stuff, but when a major issue comes up, like when kitchen applicance breaks down a few days before Thanksgiving, I get a call within hours to deliberate on how we want to proceed. They are also very prompt with rental deposits and send monthly statements in the mail.
I cannot say enough good things with Professional Property Management. I have been with them for nearly 3 years and have been very pleased with our relationship. I highly recommend them!
